I called Storm Guard after we developed a leak around one of our skylights following multiple days of rain. We were able to get on the schedule within a couple of days. James came out and took a look at things and determined it was due to worn out (or absent) caulking around the flashing. He fixed it immediately and did not charge us for the work! He gave us his number and said to follow up if we developed more issues. I was incredibly happy with my experience and will certainly call them again if the need arises. Highly recommend their services.

Something that looked difficult in complex to me from the outside went so smoothly. The guys working on site were extremely courteous. I can’t recommend our local Stormguard folks enough!!

I was very pleased with the timeliness and professionalism of this company who quickly discovered the source of a leak that another roofing company missed and fixed the problem; then caulked the entire area around the repair just to make sure it was completely watertight. The tech, James, was very pleasant and efficient and gave me good advice on roof maintenance but didn’t pressure me to replace my roof immediately even though it was within a year of its projected life, nor did he give me a high pressure sales pitch to use his company. I had a fantastic experience with Storm Guard Roof Repair. From the beginning, Rachael was incredibly transparent and prompt. She provided a detailed quote over email and quickly scheduled an in-person appointment to go over the details. Her down-to-earth and approachable manner made the entire process much less intimidating, especially since we were new to it. Rachael explained the different shingle options clearly and even gave us a list of homes in our neighborhood where we could see the shingles at various times of the day. This was a refreshing change from a previous company we dealt with, which was neither straightforward nor willing to provide a quote, preferring instead to work only with the insurance company. Based on our interaction with Rachael, we were confident Storm Guard deserved our business and scheduled the roof repair a few weeks later.

On the day of the repair, Ray and his team arrived early in the morning and were highly professional. Ray carefully inspected the area to ensure our backyard items were protected before starting the work. While the team worked, we took the family out for breakfast and ran some errands. When we returned around 4 PM, we were amazed to find the job already completed. It was as if they were never there—no leftover shingles, no stray nails, nothing out of place. The next day, Mike from Storm Guard came by to inspect the property again and ensure everything was clean and up to our standards. He was kind, thorough, and wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied.

Had our roof replaced by storm guard. The service then was friendly and fast. The roof work was great. Fast forward a year and one of the gutter guards had become dislodged. I called on a weekend and got an immediate response and a visit a couple days later to re position and secure the gutter guard. Friendly, helpful, and quality. cant really ask for more these days. highly recommend!

We had water leaking from around our living room window casing during the recent storm from Chantal. Michael Kuzy with Storm Guard was finishing up work on a house across the street so I asked him to schedule looking at our roof/gutters. He came over immediately and diagnosed the problem as well as doing some preventative maintenance. He was very knowledgeable and professional and will definitely be the person I will contact with any roofing or gutter issues in the future.

I recently purchased my home, and during the inspection there were 2 areas that they suggested I follow-up on (gutter and flashing around sky lights). The HOA president provided the name of the owner of Storm Guard (they had installed the roof) for my follow-up. The work was so minor that I anticipated that I may not get a call back, or wouldn't for some time. How wrong I was! Mike Kuzy got back to me the same day! Not only was he responsive, but he had one minor issue handled 3 days later, and the 2nd within the same week. The workmen were as customer oriented as Mike was - even offering to have me come up on the roof to see (I opted for pictures instead). And as apparently the work was related to the 2 year old roof, I wasn't billed at all!

I must say how impressed I was with Storm Guard, Mike and his team. Their responsiveness, and customer service orientation is not often found these days. If you need any of their services, I'd highly recommend them. My experience was a great one. Janis

The Storm Guard team was professional from contract to the completion. This is a family team including Rachael, Rob, and Michael who are great to work with. The onsite construction supervisors, Tyson and Kyle, were professional and communicated at the beinning and the end of each workday. Their roofing crew completed a large job in 3 days and left our yard perfectly clean. I would use them again the furure. Frank in Chapel Hill.

Michael came out and gave me a free roof inspection and gave me the good news my roof still was in decent shape. He did help with some rotten pipe boots. When the time comes to replace the roof I will definitely call them back. Storm Guard replaced a roof on my previous house and it was an easy experience, they took care of the insurance paperwork and the roof looked great when they were done.

The Storm Guard team is top notch. We bought our home in 2019, and Storm Guard had replaced the roof for the previous owner the year before. They made the transition from previous owners to us seamless, and have been very helpful over the past few years when we've needed anything. We also just had them out for a new project and it was seamless from start to finish. I rarely write reviews, but was compelled to do it this time by beyond my expectations experience with the Storm Guard company. They replaced the roof on my home in October and did a fantastic job from the start to end of this project.
It all started with Storm Guard employee Tracie Panko who put me in touch with their superb representative James Branchini. James has provided outstanding services since day one: he stopped by our home multiple times, including weekends, to inspect our roof, perform some interim repairs, and assess the extent of damage. He was always super polite, very helpful and on time. James even went above and beyond his duties and re-inspected my new roof personally, per my special request to Storm Guard.
Before the project started, we met with Kim Pittman, who is another excellent representative of Storm Guard team. She came to our home and spent extra time to clearly explain all steps in this process. Kim is a great communicator, very courteous and with exceptional focus on details and customers’ needs. She went out of her way to answer all our questions and capture key concerns regarding protection of our recently painted home, AC units and awning. Kim ensured that the best crew worked on our roof and even accommodated my request for new roof inspection by James to give me extra piece of mind.
I would like to commend James and Kim for going the extra mile to provide this level of customer care!
I want to give a shout-out to the Storm Guard work crew who did a fabulous job and completed the roof replacement in one day, took extra care of my home exterior and performed stellar cleanup job. My kudos go to project managers Tyson and Kyle, who oversaw this project, ensured my AC units, awning, shrubs and deck protection and came by next day to perform extra cleanup and touch up of very few spots on my home. Also, thanks to Bobby for taking drone pictures of new roof and one is enclosed.

Had such a great experience using Storm Guard! Our home is new-ish to us and we recently discovered 2 leaks and shingles that needed replacement. James assessed the problems quickly and Chris did a top notch job on the repairs! Notably they were able to fix an especially problematic leak near a skylight without any major repairs. They were both friendly and professional and they have our full confidence should we need their services in the future. We definitely recommend using Storm Guard for any big or small roofing projects!

Update (Sept. 2025). We used Storm Guard again! Michael came by to help us troubleshoot an issue with mildew growing on an interior ceiling! He quickly identified the issue! We are so thrilled to work with the experts at Storm Guard!

I called Storm Guard for a leaky roof and James came by the next morning. He got on the roof and repaired the leak on the spot. He explained how the leak got started and how he repaired it. James cleaned up everything after the repair. I would use Storm Guard again without question.

Storm Guard replaced our 20-year-old roof and we could not be more satisfied. They offer a free inspection and, in our case, alerted us to hail damage we would never have know about otherwise.
