We had foundation repair service come out today to inspect our foundation. Wesley Taylor was very professional and nice and advise us at this time our foundation looked fine. Gave us some suggestions on correcting drainage issues. Highly recommend them because they did not take advantage and do work that wasn't necessary.

David was very knowledgeable about the issues affecting my property and took the time to go over all the options. He was very honest about what it would take. It's nice to have a company that doesn't try to just make money off you but shoots you straight. Will def use for any foundation issues I have in the future.

I needed the floors firmed up in my 100 year old home and I called FRS to come and inspect the crawl space. The team was very professional and worked quickly to come up with a solution.They installed masonry piers throughout to firm up the foundation and new subfloor in one room. The floor no longer bounces when moving through the house and we were able to install heavier tile in the kitchen and laundry room. Highly recommended!!

Foundation Repair Services was asked to provide an estimate to stabilize a concrete slab. The actual cost was MORE THAN DOUBLE the agreed upon cost.
In the spring of 2021 Foundation Repair Services, Inc. was asked to provide an estimate to stabilize a concrete slab. Knowing they were competing against other companies for the business, they provided the lowest estimate. The total cost proposal provided to complete the project was less than $2,000. They were chosen to move forward with the project and perform the actual work using their low proposal as the basis for this decision. A few weeks later they completed the work same day. When the work was completed a bill of MORE THAN TWICE the estimated amount was presented for payment. The reason given was that more material was needed to complete the job than anticipated. Never during the course of the work being performed was this extra need for material ever mentioned or approved. Nor was this mentioned as a possibility during the initial meeting. The amount of the actual cost over the estimate is far and above in excess of any reasonable expectation. Due to the way their contract is written, they can charge you whatever they want.

I was very pleased because I was out of state for the entire process, and I had to talk to them about the differences in construction between a mountainous area where they did the work and my current address, which is flat land. Mr Cartee was very honest and spent time explaining. I was very satisfied with the work and end result. Thank you for doing a great job.!

Vic came by our home to give a quote/consultation. He provided really helpful education and then provided contact information for a few structural engineers as a recommended next step in the process. Vic was communicative, timely, professional, and extremely helpful. I could tell the heart behind his service was to help provide the best and most reasonable solution for us as homeowners. I'm appreciative of the helpful and honest assessment he was able to give us!

I was incredibly impressed.
1) First, when I requested the quote, they didn't try to upsell anything or use scare tactics like the other two companies used. In fact, Vic said, "Honestly, if you do nothing at all, you probably won't run into any additional problems, even 10 years from now, but it's the sort of thing that will have to be fixed before you sell your home or it will show up in the inspection." He earned a lot of respect from me with that.
2) They scheduled me a few weeks out because they were super booked and they stayed on schedule.
3) The employees were incredibly friendly. Real, genuine people.
4) Fixing the foundation caused the front door to not lock properly which they also fixed free of additional charge.
5) The problem was worse than they expected and took an additional day of labor but there was no additional charge.
6) Communication was great via phone and email.

What a great experience it was working with David King and his FRS crews! From David's assessment of our problem, his explanation of recommended fixes, his willingness to consider our thoughts, then his overall supervision of the two crews that worked on the project were a joy to deal with. His coordination of the inside and outside work meant that the crews were n and out in minimal time. David's personal involvement and contributions to its outcome mmade us feel very special, and were much appreciated.

I had FRS install helical piers on my garage that had settled after 20 years. Their pricing is comparable to others that gave an estimate. Lead time after signing the contract was 2 weeks. The installation team was very good and experienced. They also cleaned up really well. Would recommend to a friend.

If I could give 10 stars to Brian Cartee and his crew on this review, I would do it in a heartbeat. Trust me, if you need foundation work done, this is who you want.

We recently purchased a house in Franklin, and my one big concern was the porch -- it is beautiful, but it had dropped over 4 inches since it hadn't been properly supported when it was built. To complicate matters, it was on the edge of a fairly steep slope, so bringing in machinery to do foundation work wasn't an option.

The previous owners hired a structural engineer and were led to believe he'd fixed the problem, but the guy scammed them. He built a basic retaining wall that was purely cosmetic, and he did nothing to actually support the footers. Eventually, the soil started eroding from underneath, and the porch continued to drop. Then they had a civil engineer come out. He reinforced the wall and it looked nice and new, but he still didn't address the unsupported footers and the sinkage continud.

When we bought he house, I first found a different structural engineer who had good reviews online, but in person, he nickel-and-dimed me on virtually everything (almost $1k to come out, would only look at the items I told him to look at, insisted I put those in writing, and then gave me a very high estimate). He told me he had the name of a good company who could do the actual work (turned out to be FRS!), but he wouldn't give me the name until things had progressed. He did, however, point me to a geo-engineer to check the stability of the slope. She was fantastic, and she is the one who pointed me to FRS, saying they were hands-down the best in the area.

I was so impressed with Brian from the moment I met him. He clearly knew his stuff, and he said the FRS engineers could design a fix without going through an outside engineer. True to his word, they came up with a solution and were able to install steel helical piers underneath the footers. They also jacked up the porch to its original height. The FRS crew was fantastic. Because of the slope, they had to hand-dig to install the piers, and they worked diligently for several days. Everyone on the crew was super polite and respectful. They showed me their work along the way, and when they finished, they put a level at different places along the porch to show me it was indeed level. The porch looks great, and it now feels strong and stable.

Not only did FRS do great work, but their cost was almost half what the prior structural engineer had quoted. I wish I had found FRS at the get-go, but hopefully this will review will help others find them faster than I did.

So -- if you need foundation work, skip all the scam artists and the engineers who want to charge you for every word that comes out of their mouth. Just go with FRS. FRS is a 10-star company that stands behind their work. Stop searching and just hire them! You won't regret it.

As far as we're concerned, Foundation Repair Services is the gold standard in terms of integrity, professional competence, and performance. I would not hesitate to recommend their services. To sum up the project, we live on a steep slope and one side of our driveway slab was held in place by a 12ft high retaining wall that, due to poor driveway drainage, was beginning to rotate away from the point of meeting the foundation of the house. In addition, the slab itself was beginning to settle and pull away from the garage opening. David King was the project manager and he designed the ideal solution to reinforce the concrete wall and at the same time remove and build a reinforced and supported slab with appropriate drainage. We cannot recommend David's talents and services highly enough. The crew that performed the work were very experienced, hard-working and courteous. They answered all our questions and requests, including making accommodations when necessary for foot traffic access to the street. The job was completed on time and on budget. We could not be more pleased with the outcome.
