I’ve been calling contractors for a home build and many have not even returned calls or emails. However, Brian Storm with AR called me back right away even though my project was not something they could help me with. He spent time on the phone giving me a few tips for who to call next. That speaks volumes about the type of services I would receive if they COULD help with my project, and I would recommend them to friends.

The most professional and courteous general contractor I have ever worked with. Fair price - you get what you pay for. Will continue to use them for all our remodel projects here in Charlotte as well as for our mountain house in Blowing Rock.

One of there workers was behind me on 85 during traffic and almost hit my car several times because he was in a rush and didn't seem to care that I had a disabled child in the backseat. For a family company it didn't seem like their employee cared about others and their family safety on the road. Was really ridiculous how he acted.

This is some of the finest and most professional work we have had done on our home. I'm looking for some other projects so we can have them come back. Really exceptionally fine work, professional attitude, and great value for the cost.

My satisfaction with Andrew Roby is largelly due to the efforts of one member of the Andre Roby team, in particular, Mark Bently. I recently relocated to Charlotte for work and decided to purchase a home, which I discovered required more repairs than I had originally anticipated. Being new to the area and never having owned my own home, I have found the whole experience to be overwhelming more often than not. If not for the repeated assistance of Mr. Bently, I truly wouldn’t have known what to do. Mark has been willing to help me with countless tasks that were in no way involved with the job which I had hired Andrew Roby to complete. His willingness to always help me as well as his consistent professionalism really stand out to me as being above and beyond any job expectation. He is genuinely a nice person and has been an asset to me during this entire process.

Additionally, I have been extremely happy with Mr Bently's work on the job that I actually hired Andrew Roby to complete: creation of a detached garage. The garage was completed months ago but, with all of the rain we've had recently, I noted the garage flooding with water every time it rained. I hired a group to install gutters on the detached garage as I was initially advised to do in an attempt to address the flooding. However, when this didn't solve the problem, one of the members of the Roby team advised me that this wasn't a big deal and that I simply needed to put more rocks around the garage. I subsequently contacted Mr. Bently to get his thoughts on the matter and he promptly came over to assess the issue himself and got to work on solving the problem. Once again, I was floored by his unexpected willingness to help me. I've never written a similar evaluation of appreciation but think that the repeated extraordinary efforts of Mr. Bently are certainly note worthy.

Our daughter died in our home causing alot of damage we have Been working with this company since February they promised they would be starting work in June then moved to July now moved it until September they missed a huge deadline with our insurance company. They caused our insurance company to walk away because of the missed deadline and with that we have had to move back into our uninhabitable house not fixed and are now left to hire another company and start over. They made a devastating situation
much worse devastating situation.would not recommend them to no one .

We have used Andrew Roby & Roby Handyman since 2013. The characteristic responsiveness, pricing, and quality of workmanship are delivered by professionals in a friendly manner. They are easy to deal with and the confidence we have in their ability to deliver excellent results takes the stress out of maintaining a home. We have engaged Roby for the continued maintenance of our 20 year old home to insure we protect and update our residence as an appreciating asset for our future.

I had a serious electrical issues in my home and called Andy Roby. The electrician sent me a text that he was 20 minutes away and then didn't show up for over an hour. He arrive and spent a few minutes checking out the issue. I had to leave for work and he handed me a 500 diagnostic bill. Later that day I had to reach out and see what the issue was. He said he would create another bill to fix my hot light switch and he THINKS it might be a strong light bold that is causing the issue... We hired someone else and he found quite a large and dangerous issue.. I would not trust this company ever again.

The office staff is very nice to speak to. We have a few small renovations we wanted to have completed. The estimator I spoke with, Will Coble, made me feel like my job was inferior to the work they generally like to do. He quoted me a price on the phone that was more than double the price of other contractors and would not come out to do an estimate without a $300 fee. I felt like he was throwing large numbers at me to scare me away rather than talking to me like a customer and taking the time to actually talk to me about our needs and consider each project individually. At lease let me send pictures and measurements before you throw out ballpark figures. We would have been willing to adjust our budget for high quality service, but not for poor customer service.

Terrible drivers. Swerving all over the road on 77 North 3/4/2025 around exit 25 4:30 pm. Multiple lane changes, aggressive garbage. No project is worth that. Actually saw the truck get the middle finger. I was glad I didn't get hit. Terrible representation.

I used Andrew Roby for my kitchen, half bath and laundry room remodeling. Also, refinished hardwood floors freshened up stairs and new shelving in the family room. Andrew Roby did a wonderful job, always attentive on the job site and handled any issues that came up. I highly recommend them!!
