Constraction reviews in Charlotte, North Carolina

Absolute worst company i have ever seen in existence. From walking into your backyard walking by open windows and spray painting all around without asking for permission. To me calling and trying to figure out who and why and then the lady tells me they have no notes on anything or any idea if it was them because apparently they dont keep records of there “work”. To the rude lady who sounds like shes sitting in an empty office with random people in the background. This company is HORRIBLE

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They cut my irrigation line in several places and broke 3 sprinkler heads. Ansco could not care less. It has now been over two months and I am still trying to get them to fix it. I would love to know who did the hiring.

I came home one day to find two workers from this company destroying my backyard that is fenced in. They did not have permission to be back there. They stated that they thought it was ok because there was a for sale sign outside. A HUGE for sale sign that had a contact number on it that they did not call. This company should not be in business.

This company is destroying property in Charlotte neighborhoods and no one in our city government seems to care presently. My cable, internet, phone, water, electrical lines have been damaged by this company and never heard a word from this company. My current mission for the holidays is to find those people ultimately responsible.

These guys will destroy your sprinkler system and have given me nothing but the run around and a dirty sidewalk for me to clean. You have been warned.

The representative of the company came to our door and said they were doing work trimming trees for AT&T and wanted to let us know they were going to trim our Crape Myrtle tree. I told the person that unless they topped the tree off like they should and not make a hole in the tree or carve out one side of the tree to go ahead "BUT" if they were gonna make a mess of the tree to go on therir way "AND NOT TOUCH THE TREE" so the person said we will have to call AT&T and i said that's fine and they left without touching the tree. Which tells you right then they were gonna make a mess of the tree!!! I told my wife who also heard the conversation between me and the person for Ansco & Associates that these were the kind of people who will wait till your not home and come back and trash our tree. That's exactly what happened the very next day they came while we were gone and made a trashing of our tree and i have pics to prove it. My entire neighborhood can't believe they done this to such a beautiful tree that it once was!!! This company speaks for itself and how it operates on a "I DON'T GIVE A
_ _ _ _ BASIS" the BBB will definitely be hearing about them!! AT&T needs to get reputable people to do their work and not a bunch of flunkies!!! -
After notifying them they were trespassing on my property outside of the right of way they were working in they closed up the holes that day only to do it again the next day all over. Now I've got a sprinkler line damaged that is blowing up sand and gravel from under my driveway and undermining it. Forget calling Kevin the area supervisor his voicemail is always full. He does respond to texts but his bosses know about the problems according to him but yet you never hear from them and nothing gets done. Going to the state licensing board is useless since if you want to make a complaint on their license you can't since only a party with a contact can do that. Which reaching AT&T is a joke they could care less. No way in the world to reach them regarding this try getting their phone number unless you are a customer and want more services. Total disregard for property rights thanks North Carolina general assembly.

Our yard was dug up and Ansco was supposed to take care of the damages of the sewage pipe being damaged and backed the sewage into our home within a few days. Spilling on our floor and damaging the drywall. This was February 14th the damage was reported. They contracted Roto Rooter and they did do what they were supposed to do in a timely manner (three days of machines in the house to dry up the damage in the master bath). But the rest has been a nightmare. Many times stood up no one showing up to assess damages or loss. Many days of sitting and home and changing plans and work schedules to find out that no one was coming. My contacts where Kevin and Todd at Ansco with no follow up from Kevin what so ever unless I called him which his voicemail was always full. After getting Todd involved it is now switched to AT&T.

Ansco was subcontracted by AT&T to dig and install the their fiber optic cables in our neighborhood. Ansco has ripped up yards, thrown chunks of sod into yards, streets, and sewage drains. They have hit water pipes in several areas in our neighborhood and the water company has had to repair (in front of our house the water company had to work all night). Multiple residents have taken pictures of the damage done in their yards and posted pictures on social media. Our HOA has provided two names, Shane McHale and a Brett, to call, but when called they either promise to meet residents and never show up or they don't return calls. Residents are filing complaints with the BBB, contacting various executives at AT&T, and one has called local TV and newspaper to make this more public. It appears other complaints have been filed against this company from other residents in other areas. This company is very unprofessional and very rude.

Ansco is reluctant to admit that they were digging in my yard at the request of AT&T, to find a "cut wire." In the process, they completely destroyed my landscaping and my in ground irrigation system. They did not leave any identification and a supervisor does not return phone calls. I pretty much agree with every other one star review.

Cornelius NC, Wellesly Village neighborhood, previous 1 star reviews are all correct. They cut 4 gas lines in a 500 ft. stretch over 4 lawns, had to call gas company to fix the cut and to relight all the gas water heaters. I have nice stone work around my flower beds, which now has bright yellow paint on it. The so called "we'll fix everything back the way it was" is not true! AT&T hired these "contractors" to run new internet cable, says alot about the caliber of what AT&T is willing to spend to upgrade their service, but yet they will charge us, the consumer, more in fees. If this company is in your neighborhood, STAY HOME and watch them.

Similar to other reviews, while an Ansco sub-contractor was laying fiber optic line in my neighborhood in August, they hit and damaged my main waterline. I was referred by AT&T to file a claim with Ansco, and it was one long, frustrating nightmare. It took almost 90 days and AT&T personally getting involved to get it taken care of. The company does not return calls or answer emails. Do yourself a favor: If you find out they are digging in your neighborhood, stand out there and watch them the entire time. If not, they will damage your property and disappear. If you do report damage and don't hear anything back on its status in a reasonable amount of time, get others involved such as AT&T or the B.B.B. (Better Business Bureau). Do not allow them to simply ignore your claim or not respond to inquiries. Like another reviewer mentioned, my point of contact (and I use that term almost sarcastically) was Shane McHale. He never returned calls or answered emails.

This company has torn up our yard for AT&T. We have Bermuda grass, they say they have dug our sod up but have the clay dirt on top of the good grass. The longer it lays on there the more damage it will do. I will take them to court to repair it. Small claims costs very little and worth every penny.

Left their wrenches (heavy duty, for securing machinery on a flatbed) in my yard, in the shade, near a bush for me to hit as I mowed the yard. Then, the Att cohort asks if I know if any more tools are in my lawn. And the Ansco "gentleman", in the flatbed truck cab, tells me I can't take pictures of him, I have to tell where he left his tools first. Huh??
-
This company has completely torn up our neighborhood, hitting water and gas lines left and right. The City is left to pick up the tab for fixing their screw ups. The workers do not speak English, don't seem to know what they are doing, and we are given no updates. We will have three huge bare spots in our front yard this spring, despite the permit requiring them to restore our yard to the same or better condition. Will be taking this up with at&t.

AT&T Fiber contracted Ansco and Associates to install fiber on my street. Before they began work on my yard, I tested my sprinkler system and everything worked properly. After they dug up my yard, my sprinkler system was damaged. I called Ansco & Associates "customer service" at least four times in December. I have not received a call back or any message with a supervisor's name and contact number. It is obvious that they have no intention of resolving this issue. This is a bad reflection on AT&T's reputation as a quality network provider.

These guys hit a water main under my driveway a few weeks ago while digging for AT&T. Today I come home to newly poured 1/2 driveway with the ground very wet from the snow(concrete already sagging) Instead of pooring 6" to match existing concrete they poured 4". Pulled branches off of my bushes to hold there caution tape, the picture framing looks like a 3rd grader did it. Front yard still ruined and still waiting for them to come tamper, re-seed. Can't get a hold of anyone with them.

This company has torn up our entire neighborhood. They've ripped up lawns and even DRIVEWAYS, damaged sewer lines & water lines as well as other utilities. All of this after they spray-painted our entire neighborhood and placed little flags literally EVERYWHERE. They marked up our neighborhood months prior to actually doing the work. No one will call me back about repairs but I've been told they don't do anything about it anyway. The city or someone should step in to protect the citizens that are left to clean up their mess. Of course this in no way makes up for the inconvenience of it all. Honestly we should have some kind of rights. Pathetic.
-
This company dug on my property for AT&T, left my yard an absolute mess, and dug through my irrigation system. I have been fighting them for 7 months to try and get them to do the right thing.
-
These people can't dig a hole without cutting internet fiber lines. The incompetence knows no bounds.
-
They come in, trash your neighborhood, damage the streets, your yard and leave trash everywhere. And we have to let them do it. They do not repair the damage. New Update, last night they cut a gas line, had half of the neighborhood unable to get home. Why do we have to allow these people in our neighborhoods? Update...now 10 days and they are still in our neighborhood, ruining people's yards, landscaping and driveways. I've talked to my neighbors and we've all agreed we will never give AT&T a dime of business!!
