The electrical service on our house needed to be replaced and Bobby responded with a great estimate over the phone then installed it the next day. We feel safe knowing it was done right…

Bobby completed a complicated panel swap/ relocation from my crawlspace to the laundry room including the installation of an external shut-off and 2 ground wires. He was upfront about pricing and confirmed the cost (as they changed due to scope of work) prior to completion. He installed everything to code and got the proper permits for all work done.

He took the time to properly label all circuits in the panel and explained some basic electrical knowledge to help me understand what he was doing and why.

This was not a simple job as he had to sort through 40 years of added wires and a recent unpermitted panel install from a bad property flip forcing him to undo a lot of bad/ confusing wiring.

Bobby will be my go-to electrician.

This is by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had getting any kind of install done. This is for an EV charger install on the exterior of my garage. I'm sitting here at home typing this review as I am wasting the FOURTH day of work over 2 long months waiting for Bobby to do his job. Bobby was a no-show for 3 of those days and never communicated with me that he wasn't coming. The day he did show up, he didn't do the job bc he said the price negotiated with my company's contractor wasn't enough. That's been resolved and he still hasn't come through.

The no-shows are bad enough, but to not even communicate that you're not coming so I can salvage my day is beyond unacceptable and as unprofessional as it gets. DO NOT USE LIVEWIRE. EVER.

I will post another review after the next "appointment", as I seem to be locked into using Livewire through my company.

Bobby will be my go-to electrician from now on! I called him at midday, needing my entire electrical panel replaced, and he had power back on within 6 hours. His prices were very fair, he was transparent throughout the whole process, and his work speaks for itself.

He identified multiple mistakes with the original install and corrected them to bring us up to code. He sent me the permit for the work within an hour of our call. He even swept our garage after he finished, leaving it cleaner than when he had arrived. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a qualified, trustworthy, and highly capable electrician.

Bobby with Livewire was professional, courteous, friendly, and finished the work at the time that he stated. He replaced our circa 1972 breaker box and meter and installed our EV charging outlet in approximately 6hrs.

I am very impressed. Bobby was the technician who installed an EV charger on the side of my house. He knew exactly what was required, even though I had purchased a model that isn't very common. He had the parts and tools (and extra breakers) out and ready before I could blink. He had it up and running in maybe 10-15 minutes.

He answered all of my questions and didn't leave a mess.

This job was paid for by my electric company so I didn't really know which company they were going to send out, but I'm glad it was this one. I will be calling up Livewire next time I need any electrical work done from now on.

I got a referral from Duke Energy for Livewire Electrical to help install an EV charger for new plug-in hybrid vehicle. Bobby reached out within a couple hours and we scheduled the install the following week. Bobby was great about communicating and offered a fair price especially since the line had to be run over 60 ft. from opposite side of the house via the crawl space. He was also very helpful in fixing a bad breaker switch and making sure we were able to take advantage of the EV charger install credit offered from Duke which helps offset the cost significantly. I’d definitely recommend Livewire Electrical for EV installs and plan to use them again for additional electrical work as well.

Called and connected with Bobby regarding our outside outlets and GFI breaker. He was able to get us on the schedule same day and was onsite within just few hours.

Bobby diagnosed the problem quickly and had the breaker and main GFI outlet replaced in no time.

Highly recommend Bobby and LiveWire Electrical.

My experience with Bobby at LiveWire has been overall positive! Below, I’ve listed some pros and cons, but I’m happy the pros outweigh the cons!

Pros: Bobby removed my fluorescent light fixture (a real eyesore) and added 4 canned lights with a dimmer switch in my kitchen and 1 canned light in my hallway. He also added a strip light and switch in my pantry. (1) He got the job done in about 2 hours and (2) the lighting looks GREAT!! The dimmed light creates great ambiance and the highest setting provides sufficient brightness - see photos. (3) He did a good job guiding me through the layout and number of lights required for my space, and (4) I found his advice to be helpful and pretty much accurate. (5) When he arrived, he was up front about the costs and the fact that he wouldn’t be patching the holes and I’d need to hire someone else to do the drywall repair. (6) A couple days later, I had some questions about the work and was very grateful that Bobby took the time to make himself available to thoroughly answer my questions. (7) By the time we ended our conversation, I sensed that he valued his customers and wanted to do whatever he could to ensure I was satisfied with his work. I greatly appreciated this.

Cons: (1) It took a couple months of calls and texts before I could get a time for Bobby to come out, but I was persistent, because his reviews are outstanding. (2) I didn’t know the holes would remain in the ceiling until just before the work started; it would’ve been nice to know ahead of time so I could’ve planned for a drywall person too so I could have a fully finished product that day. (3) Lastly, I wasn’t prepared to deal with the amount of drywall dust left behind, specifically in the water dispenser of my fridge and throughout the pantry. My previous contractors were a bit more thorough with cleaning.

I offered feedback to Bobby on the communication part and he was receptive and open to my suggestions. I do understand he’s a small business owner and there are many moving parts to manage.

Bobby at LiveWire is awesome! I received his info from one of his former customers (referrals are a great sign!). I told him I needed a 250 volt 4 prong outlet installed in my garage for my new hybrid vehicle. Bobby was super responsive, got me scheduled and provided an estimate based on the pictures I sent him of my garage configuration. On the date of installation, he made sure to communicate he was on his way. Upon arrival, Bobby was fast, efficient and very professional. I'm booking him to do my under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen next!! :)

We had an electrical emergency and Bobby from LiveWire Electrical went above and beyond to help us. He couldn’t make it out in person, so he immediately offered to FaceTime with my husband and walked us through every single step until we figured out the issue … and we finally did!

He patiently guided us using nothing but the flashlights on our phones, stayed on the call the whole time, and never gave up until everything was resolved. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind throughout the entire situation.

Bobby was absolutely professional and explained all the work that had to be done to install my level 2 EV charger. He explained the duke energy credit and what it covered. I only had to pay the inspection/permit fee. The rest was covered by the credit. Absolutely a fast and well done job. Bobby I thank you!
