We had a great experience building with Madison Homebuilders. We were informed each step throughout the building process and worked with some great people. We definitely recommend considering them to build your next home.

Madison made the daunting task of having a new home built a pleasant one. They were there to answer questions, give advice and were willing to communicate with us when it was convenient. I couldn't say enough good things about our Madison experience.

Janice and Kevin at Madison are awesome and was there to answer all our questions. As far as Tim salesmen in the office and the contractors they use I would recommend possibly looking elsewhere. My wife and I were rushed at the office the day we were making selections and are somewhat not happy with some of the choices we picked. We literally had to pick all of our options within 30 minutes because Tim had to leave. After we left and got an idea of what all they had we wanted to make changes after sitting and talking and to make those changes we were charged a "change order" fee. As for the contractors, they did jobs half way, seen a few drinking alcohol on the property (yes we have pictures), door knobs on double doors are lopsided, shower door is leaking and only been moved in since June 2019. If dealing with Madison Home Builders only meant dealing with Kevin and Janice I would recommend it but stay away from their sales folks.

All in all it was a good experience with Madison Home Builders. The biggest benefit is not having to have any moneh upfront and not having to pay closing cost. They build on your land and you don’t have a payment until two months after you close. If you are in law enforcement, firefighting, or the healthcare field they give you Hometown Hero benefits. The only thing I can say that I wish could have been changed is when you first go in and pick out your house plan and how you want things done, if you don’t know to ask every little question then you might get half way in to building your home and want to change something and not be able to. For instance I picked to have a wooden porch instead of concrete. The picture of the concrete porch had brick underneath it so I assumed my porch would have that under it as well. This was not the case and it was error on my part for not knowing but I also feel like the salespersons error for not making sure I knew that. Also I had credits coming through as my house was being built that I found out I could use to put flooring in, which was great, but I had to ask Madison if I had any credits for them to tell me and then tell them to add the flooring. With all of that being said I’m happy about my house and all of the employees were super nice.

Building with Madison Homes was a great experience. Jeff, Bill, and Janice and other staff were always prompt and professional every time I reached out to them with any questions or concerns. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our new home.

It was a great experience building our home with Madison Homebuilders. They took a lot of stress away and kept us informed through the entire process. They have been quick to respond after we closed to guide us with warranty's and such. We had the best of the best as far as Construction Supervisors go, his name is Jimbo! We would reccomend MHB to everyone we know.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Madison! The entire process was easy. We heard so many nightmares of building and we were nervous for stressful experience - but we can honestly say the building process was easy and enjoyable. We would not hesitate to send anyone to Madison. We have nothing negative to say! We love our modified Ryan!

They work with Veterans! We haven't used Madison Homebuilders yet, we're still interviewing builders, but we just spoke with one of the team (Jeff) today and that man is one of the kindest men I've spoken with so far. He's kind, straight to the point, tells you how it is, cares about you, your home, your finances, etc. Some of the builders I've spoken with (especially modular home builders) have been super dismissive or uninterested in our questions or concerns. Not Jeff :) He seems to care and seems very motivated to help us (even if we don't end up using him)! Seems like a very trustworthy, southern, gentleman. I hope we end up going this route, just to get to continue working with someone like him.

We used Madison Homebuilders to build our home in 2012. The building process was longer than expected and timelines were continously unmet. Within the first few days of moving in we noticed our home was not equipped for cable services. After calling Madison, we were told that WE requested phone jacks and cable outlets not be installed or that more than one outlet be placed in each room. This was 2012, so the "no cable movement" hadn't evolved quite yet. Out of pocket we paid for additional outlets as well as cable outlets. We had an issue with our septic tank and when Madison was contacted we were told it would not be covered because we used a person not affliated with Madison to install our septic tank. Septic tank guy comes back to inform us that it was not an issue with the septic tank but rather an improperly installed line by the plumbers that were associated with Madison. Madison Homebuilders did fix this situation. Our next issue was the heating and air system, this has been and continues to be a huge issue since we moved in. Madison Homebuilders incorrectly wired our A/C and heating system to where we would have to go to the basement to adjust the heating/air on the other floors in our home. They supposedly corrected the problem, sending someone to correctly wire the systems. All seemed well for a few months but multiple people, unrelated to Madison Homebuilders have come to fix various heating/air issues. I have addressed this with Madison but no one else was sent. I am just now writing this long review because we were recently told in order to correct the current issue we have with our heating/air systems we will need to remove our entire basement ceiling. Other issues from carpeting, electrical issues, plumbing issues, and constant a/c and heating issue have occurred over the last eight years. Kitchen floor is cheap and countertops are separating from the wall. I could go on and on about the issues with have had with Madison Homebuilders. This post only list a small number of things on a long list of complaints. Hopefully, those who have recently built with Madison Homebuilders will have better luck.

I initially wrote a novel on how bad this company is..later deleted it because I felt bad..but now, idc. Our contractor is absolutely terrible. Between miscommunications, lies, and a lack of urgency/professionalism/ all of the above..this entire process has been a disaster. Our home has been done for two months now and every day we find a new issue. I’m over it. Do not waste your money with this company.

I would just like to say that Madison Home Builders has been a pleasure to work with. Don't know if I'm I'm supposed to give names but Jeff Price our sales rep and also Jimbo our construction supervisor went above and beyond they were kind friendly and professional. They were there to answer any questions that we had and were quick to respond back which was a BIG plus for us. Jimbo made sure from start of the house going up the to finish that everything was on schedule and to our satisfaction. So thanks to everyone who had a hand in making our new home building experience the best. We would definitely recommend people for Madison Home Builders to be there next new home builders.

The whole staff was wonderful and very accommodating. To be a first-time home buyer and have your home built on a piece of land that you bought is difficult but they Made me feel at ease for every step of the process. Only reason I gave them a four is because of the plumbing contractor that didn't have hot water at my house. Outside of that the whole Madison staff was wonderful and I would definitely purchase again from them. Big thanks to them.

We closed on our home May 8th 2020. Though the whole process Madison would answer any questions and help us understand the process. It took about 6 months from site meeting to close. I don't have any complaints about any of the contractors Madison used. The ones I met where polite and willing to help you if you had any questions about what they where doing. Kevin was our Superintendent and did an amazing job at getting things coordinated and finished. Jeff was our sales guy, he was easy to deal with but a really fast talker...lol you can tell he's sold a few of these homes. Sue and Janice helped us out a lot with questions about closing and questions about change orders really easy to talk to and very happy to help. We have lived in our house a little over a week now and we love it. We went with the Ryan plan and turned the formal living room into a 5th bedroom, since we have 4 boys we wanted them to have their own room. My wife loves the kitchen and I love the garage. If you go with the Ryan I would suggest doing the vaulted ceiling in the living room and the tray ceiling in the master bedroom, well worth the money and made a big difference in appearance. We are very pleased with our new home and look forward to many memories here!!

We worked with Jeff, Dave and Janice. They were all wonderful! They handled all my freakouts and all my millions of questions even though I probably drove them crazy. We are loving our new Madison home. It was a long process but totally worth it in the end. We are super happy and glad we picked Madison. Thank you so much Jeff and Dave! You guys rock!!

Madison Homebuilders was great from start to finish. From the planning stages to construction and throughout, they we're flexible and allowed as many modifications as we needed. They allowed us to monitor the process and point out small issues as they arose, which saved us time in the end. No request was too much and our sales rep and construction super was always responsive usually immediately. I strongly suggest Madison Homebuilders for anyone looking to build a home. They are dependable and reputable.

Madison was the place for us. We chose Madison Homes because we live very busy lives and didn't have time for all the things most couples deal with while building a home. We did have to do a few things upfront with permits (which is to be expected), but Madison took care of the rest. Our contractor Bill Reid is the best in the business. We could not have been blessed with a better person to build our home than Bill. There is no doubt that he built our home, as if he was building his own.
From the salesman to the finance company to the lawyer's office to closing we were completely satisfied. -
I am so glad we chose Madison Homebuilders! The process for us was seamless! Everything we asked for was above our expectations. The staff was very helpful and followed through with every detail of our plan. Our contractor Bill was the absolute best! He kept us informed throughout and answered any questions we had. The timeline went as planned even though we had a lot of bad weather. I have ZERO complaints about this company. They went over and beyond what we expected. I highly recommend to anyone planning to build a home.

I recently finished up my 1 year warranty claims at Madison Homebuilders. I was in touch with their warranty technician, Kevin Bivins. He went above and beyond, walked through my entire house with me, explained the warranty process, and answered all my questions. He even texted me in the evening after a contractor finished working in my house to make sure everything was done to my liking. I was impressed with the level of service I received.

My experience with Madison has not been great. The building process took almost double what they claimed. Every single trade had to come back at least twice, because they didn't do the job right the first time. They tried to force me to leave a window in place that didn't match any of the other windows in my home. After a meeting with the company president, they finally agreed to change it out. Almost 2 years after I moved in, they were still working on PUNCH LIST items from before I closed. The 2-10 warranty that is included in the build price is just as bad. They will say they are coming and text the night before to say they can't make it. They will also close out warranty items and mark them as completed when no one has been at the house.I truly don't know how they are still in business. I would not recommend this bunch to anyone!!

We had the best experience with Madison homebuilders. From the very beginning they were honest and fair with me. We closed on our beautiful new home on Friday and couldn't be happier. Thank you Tim, Janice and Jimbo! Y'all made the whole process so fun and easy for me. I highly recommend Madison Homebuilders!!
I am editing this to say that after we were in the home, we felt like we were forgotten about. Things that we pointed out that needed fixed while on the walk through on closing day, were never fixed. I could not get anyone to help me or barely reach back out to me and if they did reach back out to me they would tell me they would fix things that were never fixed. I couldn't even get the warranty companies help on many things. The couple things they did fix was sheetrock and painting at the end of the first year due to settling and fix holes in a bathtub (that I asked to have replaced but they only wanted to repair, twice.) Everything else, we were left to do on our own. Just thought it was fair to update my 5 stars to a 3 after having moved in. Now, as we are about to build another home and are looking for builders again, I thought it would be nice to give people a fair and updated review after having lived in the home for 4 years. -
We chose the Ryan model. Everyone went above and beyond to satisfy our request. Jeff helped us plan everything exactly how we wanted with several different options. Kevin the builder kept us informed every week and always answered or returned our calls. Janice our closing coordinator paved the way for a easy transition. We had the best experience that we could have hoped for. Thank you Madison Homebuilders for our beautiful mansion as my kids call it.
