I used this lawn care company from August 2024 to May 2025, and unfortunately, I did not see any noticeable improvement in my lawn during that time. One of the main issues was the lack of consistency—I never had a regular technician assigned to my property, which made it difficult to track progress or build any rapport.

Last summer, I had a particularly concerning incident: I was told my lawn had been serviced, but after checking my security cameras, it was clear no one had been on my property. After reporting this, I was told technicians would contact me directly before any future applications, but that policy was not followed consistently.

In 2024, because I signed up late in the season, I prepaid for services and received advance texts before each application. However, in 2025, I paid per service and stopped receiving timely notifications. I had to call and complain multiple times just to get basic communication.

The final straw came in May 2025. On May 9, a fertilizer and weed treatment was applied—this time with prior notice. But just five days later, on May 14, a lime soil amendment was applied without any communication. I contacted customer service to ask why two treatments were scheduled so close together without notice, but the representative couldn’t provide a clear explanation. When I asked to speak to a manager, the request seemed to frustrate the rep. No manager ever followed up, and the only response I received was a generic cancellation email trying to win back my business.

This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I do not recommend this company. Please read the reviews before signing up. Save your money and choose a lawn care provider who prioritizes both your lawn and customer experience—not just your payments.

Second year with them and my lawn looks worse every year. I regret leavingTru-Green for them. They just left and I see NO PRODUCT on my lawn, the guy FLYS through here in some machine, and they don’t service my entire property, even though I cleared the far corner out and TOLD them I was trying to get some grass growing there (again they just left and no product in far corner of property) along with the hill,(no way that machine can drive on hill) funny they CHARGE for the full property, they just don’t treat it all!! ….and every year I have the SAME problem with the weeds and every year they get worse and worse. The ONLY thing ExperiGreen has going for them…is there AMAZING customer service!! Done with ExperiGreen

This is an Experigreen lawn! My family and I went on a four day vacation and came back to our lawn looking like this. My husband had just mowed before we left.
We’ve used Experigreen for about four seasons. We started using them the first year after we moved into our new house and the lawn was in decent shape. They only serviced our lawn for weed control but each year was a battle and each year they told us that weed control is a long process that can take some years to get under control. Last year after asking some investigative questions I discovered that I had Dallas grass in my yard and that it was not being treated with the weed control they were putting down but that it was responsive to the fertilizer they were using!
I was so upset that they were fertilizing a weed that is extremely hard to control. My yard was a mess but to fix it they added Dallas grass treatment to my service for free. They also gave me a discount on aeration and seeding to help strengthen my grass as I had a lot of bare spots from the dead weeds. After the aeration and seeding and the Dallas grass treatment my lawn looked amazing in the Fall 2020. However because it took them too long to come repair some bare spots after the original seeding they were late to do the winterizer treatment.
I was very hesitant to use them for the 2021 season but wanted to give them a chance to make this a better season. The first issue we had came after we planted a new maple and two cherry trees in the late sprint. I contacted them to let them know to avoid the trees for fertilizer and the weed control. The rep told me that was their policy as a company. When they came out to treat my lawn my husband repeated it to the specialist and watched as he fertilized and completely skipped the weed control. He told my husband there were no weeds to treat. When I contacted them to find out whether he was supposed to put the treatment down they said his notes indicated that he did apply the weed control. They sent him back out quickly, but after he left I noticed granules on the mulch around my trees. Some time around the beginning of summer three I noticed that the Dallas grass was spreading quickly. I contacted them about it and they informed me again that they weren’t treating the Dallas Grass. At this time I was informed that they only use a broadleaf weed control and if I wanted something more I had to inform them. But again they were FERTILIZING THE DALLAS GRASS. I told them that it’s their job to communicate that they noticed the Dallas grass was coming back and that they needed to start treatment quickly before it got out of hand since they are the ones waking the perimeter of my yard (which is large) and would have noticed it creeping back up. Especially since they were going to continue to fertilize it.
Also, all the areas that were bare last year before they aerated and seeded are now either bare again or taken over by weeds. Their seed couldn’t last through the first season.
I’m am so done with this company. I have the worse lawn in my neighborhood and none of my neighbors use a lawn service.

I’ve been looking for help with my lawn for about a year now. There are so many options out there and forget about doing it yourself. I spoke with Kenneth Scott, he was very helpful, friendly and answered all my questions. He broke everything down for me; how the service works and exactly what I should expect. I feel really good about going with Experigreen thanks to Kenneth.

Overpriced and not worth the hassle. I signed up with ExperiGreen at the beginning of Summer after moving into a new house. They came out to do three treatments before I cancelled.

In early August we started noticing some unsightly brown patches around the lawn including a large one in the backyard. Called ExpiraGreen on a Tuesday to ask if they could send someone out to diagnose and address the problem. I wasn’t blaming them for the issue and would have gladly paid for the treatment. The customer rep informed me that our regular service was scheduled for the next day (Wednesday) and that the technician would be able to look at it and recommend a treatment plan at that time. I met the technician when he arrived and showed him the areas I was concerned about. He didn’t know what the problem was but said he’d take pictures to send to his manager. A couple days pass and no one calls to follow up. Not only that, but the service summary I received with my bill ($64) doesn’t mention anything about the brown spots we discussed. So on Friday I called customer service again. Could barely hear the agent over kids screaming in the background but she said she’d send a note to the branch manager, who would contact me right away. Well, that didn’t happen either so on Saturday I emailed them to please cancel my account.

In fairness, someone did reach out the following Monday to ask why I was cancelling, but by then it was too late. It shouldn’t be this hard to give people money.

We were having issues with customer service support. They charged extra then original contract was done. The manager Mr. Kenneth took care of the over charge payments and send a service manager, who explained details and promised to provide good service in future and asked us to wait a year to see good results. Due to their good service, we will wait for year to see a good results.

I specifically chose experigreen because of Matt. I spoke with two other companies and they were not honest about the remaining treatments left for the year as well as wanting to push unnecessary treatments that were out of season. These companies were also more expensive, aggressive, and not respectful. Matt explained the process, was upfront about the treatments, pricing, and not pushy. I appreciate it ☺️

Our engagement with Max was brief but he seemed great. Look forward to working with this company!

ExperiGreen has done a great job for me. I appreciate how Ken comes around after the sale to check on the progress. Their cost for aerating/seeding was very reasonable compared to other quotes I had received, and their maintenance has been excellent. Even in January, my lawn looks as nice as it normally does in the springtime!
