Called Ruben Tree Services early April after heavy rains brought down my neighbor's trees on my fence. They came out and gave me a fair quote. Showed up the next week on time and spent most of the morning cutting and clearing the two trees. They chipped all of the wood and branches and raked the rest of the debris. Then they blew the tiny chips off of the grass so I could mow without problems. Both Ruben and Samuel are great and I will call them first if I need any tree work done. They are hard-working, honest people who work hard for their business.

I typically don't make a point to post reviews, but Ruben and his team did a great job. I am a Construction Superintendent, so I'm always looking for safety issues etc. After watching Ruben and his team today, I can attest that safety is a priority over everything else. Tied off 100%. Communication with his ground crew. Professional, and I will be referring work to him from now on.

And oh yeah, he is insured, and has been in the business for 20+ years.

I recently hired Ruben’s Tree Service to remove an overgrown dead shrub and grind stump beside my garage door. The job took a couple of trips since I needed to call 811 to mark the lines before digging.
Rueben was professional, friendly and reasonably priced. He was accessible and stayed in touch with me until the job was done. He did exactly what he said he would do. Thanks Ruben for excellent service.

We just moved to Charlotte a few weeks ago and had Ruben Tree Services remove and grind down the stump of a HUGE dead tree on our front lawn and remove a very large black maple in our backyard that was running our yard with it’s black walnuts. They were amazing to work with and did an outstanding job!

Fantastic experience overall. A small business of very experienced professionals. We had a difficult removal, as it was in contact with our house, and had no direction to safely drop. They were able to quickly and safely remove it without even damaging the nearby plants, while of course keeping the house protected. They chipped the branches and removed the trunk, and then also volunteered to help clean up extra debris in the yard (fallen limbs and such from a storm), free of charge. I opted out of stump removal, and had them actually leave enough of a stump to use as a seat. Overall, they were friendly, helpful, and professional. Highly recommend.

The amount of leaves that were falling in my pool and my yard was horrendous. Ruben and his crew made the job of cutting the limbs from those high trees look easy. They were efficient and the fact that their cleanup left no signs that they were there is amazing. I will definitely recommend and use them again.

Best experience I’ve had with a tree removal service! They were very professional and the tree in the photos was right next to my house and it was a big one. Each branch was brought down to the ground gently away from my home. They cleaned up and you would never know they were here. I plan on using them again for future tree or branch removal. I can’t recommend Ruben enough and we’ll use his services again soon. Knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, clean, bonded/insured, and very reasonable. This dead tree was a beast….not only was it extremely tall, it sat in between the shed, a fence, and cables. Ruben and his team handled it all and cleared it away.

Ruben and Samuel removed several dangerous limbs around and over my house. I had a quote 5 hours after I called Ruben and I was scheduled for their work within 24 hours of quoting.

I received texts 24 hours and 30 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time. They were diligent, professional, and cordial to me and my entire family throughout the work. They left my yard cleaner than before they had come.

Ruben’s prices are extremely favorable and his punctuality sets him apart. I will be recommending Ruben to anyone and I will be using them exclusively for all of my tree pruning and removal needs.

Ruben and Sam came through for three of our neighbors and based on their reviews and the work I saw them do personally I decided to get a quote to trim my tree. They did it same day as their schedule happened to be available to fit me in. They made it an incredible (and safe) experience for my toddlers to watch them work. They did it in awful heat and humidity and did it with a smiling friendly attitude. Very efficient, knowledgeable and helped me understand the vision and maintenance needed to get my desired outcome. With a free estimate and the amazing customer service, there is no reason to start anywhere else for tree trimming and I will be using them in the future for larger tree removal.

Ruben and Samuel were a pleasure to work with and did a great job communicating about a very large and complex tree situation we needed handled. The pin oak tree was five+ feet across at the base, had high priority power and internet lines running all through the sprawling limbs and the roots were between the natural gas and water/sewer lines. The tree was close to my mom’s home and branches hung over the home and the primary road with lots of traffic. These guys were able to take this tree down without impacting any of the utility services. They were methodical in their approach. Communicated with us throughout the process. They left the area better than when they arrived. We were extremely pleased with the work. They did it exactly to our specifications. We will use them again and highly recommend them for tree work. I would like to give a big shout out to Ruben and Samuel from Ruben’s Tree Service for the outstanding job they did. I have two ornamental trees which needed someone with experience And someone who understood what these trees meant to me. They talked to me in great length about what I wanted these trees to look like when they were finished. I am happy to say they turned out fantastic. If you are someone like me who is very particular, or who appreciates someone going a little bit beyond what they were asked to do, this is the company for you.

Ruben and Sam trimmed some dead limbs from a willow oak tree. Sam came out right away after my call and provided a quote and they were here doing the work within 3 days. I have plants at the bottom of the tree they were very careful not to harm and they worked as a team to cut and lower the limbs with ropes. They really have it down to a science and they had everything cut and the pieces loaded into their trailer to take away in short order. They even handled a large limb that had fallen from the neighbor’s tree and was stuck, hanging over the backyard next to a power line. We had been waiting for Duke Energy to cut it down for months, and when they saw it they said they could do it, no problem. They had it down and cut in no time. They do the best job at a reasonable price. I count myself lucky to find them!

I really can't say enough about Ruben's tree service. The trees around my house were hanging over the house, dropping really loud acorns on my roof and giving the squirrels a short cut! He safely swung the large branches away without hitting the house. They also trimmed up my crepe myrtles and dogwood. Everything was cleaned up like they were never there. I will have him back again. Highly recommend!
