I had a very large tree (6ft diameter trunk) that was over the house and started dropping the occasional limb on the roof. Cadieu gave a very reasonable quote (I shopped around). They showed up as scheduled, got to work, and removed the tree and cleared the threat to the house. They easily navigated the power lines, terrain, and managed traffic on the adjacent road. Very responsive to all emails and questions. Recommend.

We recently hired Cadieu Tree Experts to remove a large tree in our yard. They were fantastic people to work with from start to finish. They were prompt, curtious, and made sure my yard was completely cleaned before they left. Another Google review mentions a neighbor whose fence was allegedly damaged by this company. The fence was not “severely damaged” as claimed. Mr. Cadieu offered compensation to our neighbor as a nice gesture even though no such damage occurred. Don’t let these false accusations steer you away from this wonderful family company.

We had a giant willow oak in our yard that was close to power lines, our house and our neighbors’. It would have taken down a few houses, had it failed. No other tree service removal company would touch it with a 10 foot pole (or even a 100 ft pole). Joe Cadieu was the only one who would help us and who could help us. He came and looked at the tree. His team came out a week later (today) and removed most of it in half a day. They were very professional, efficient and fast.

He and his team saved our house and our neighbors because if they couldn’t help us, no one else would and the tree would have failed in a matter of weeks.

For that, we are eternally grateful to Joe Cadieu and his men. Especially for coming out the day before thanksgiving. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Cadieu Tree Experts are absolutely phenomenal to work with. The service was top notch, from my first meeting with the arborist to the tree removal process. They come fully equipped with cranes, buckets, and an exceptionally trained group of cutters. Prices are fair and the attention to detail/clean up/etc. was terrific. I can't say enough good things about this company.

These guys are very unprofessional. They showed up next door to me and within the hour I hear climbing on my roof. They never even came to my door to let me know they would be on my property. They threw limbs down into my yard with no care for my flower beds or yard. As one of them scaled a tree they also hit a power line running to my house with a chainsaw, still no word from them. The worst was yet to come as within another hour a large tree branch slammed into my office window. The first thing to come out of the Foreman's mouth was "I knew that was going to happen". This is not what you should hear from tree "experts". The worst thing was when they removed my fence in order to remove a tree stump, promising me that after the stump was removed they would put the fence back up. It's been more than a month and the fence is still down. The one nice thing was they offered to fix the window, but honestly this is the bare minimum and it took me going out to talk with them to even get them to tell me they would fix it.

Cadieu Crew did an AMAZING job yesterday (5/21/25) on Tippah Avenue. Took care to protect neighbor’s hydrangeas, an aging dogwood nearby AND of course the neighbor’s house! as they removed TWO city of Clt trees, including grinding of stumps!! We were sad to lose the trees (no thanks to Duke Energy contracted company’s butchering of these 2 fabulous old willow oaks)
Cadieu was efficient, neat & safe. And really appreciated they did not use an obnoxious chipper :-)
Best of all, nice young man (i am sad i didn’t get his name - not nice of me!) honored my request & cut me a piece of the tree where i had watched a red-bellied woodpecker work so hard to create a lovely nest. (blackbirds had taken it over & had already fledged their babies weeks ago) I’d give Cadieu 10stars!

Josh Hankins and his crew did a STELLAR job of taking dow a 100+ year old oak tree across the street from us. They were all professional in every way. When they left it was as if the tree had never been there!

This company was contracted through the city to remove a tree in my front yard (but technically on city right of way). The folks that did the tree removal itself were so kind and considerate. They asked if it was okay to dig up some small plants to give them better access and when they did, they put them back like they never touched them! Also, despite the fact that they had the road blocked, between each cut they swept the debris and sawdust from the street! At the end of their workday, you couldn’t even tell they’d been working! This tree was a MONSTER oak, something crazy like 32 feet around and they took it down without causing any damage or mess to my yard or street.

We had a tree in our yard that was rotting from the middle. Cadieu did an excellent job with the project and clean up after. We were very impressed. Bravo and the team were polite and clear about timeline and what they would be doing. Definitely recommend.

They are the bomb dot com. Very professional. They cleaned up everything. They removed a giant tree canopy for me. You couldn’t tell after they removed the debris it had ever been there.
