NC Shed Builders have been amazing from the start to finish of our project. They have a large number of options for design with excellent prices. They are easy to communicate with and highly efficient in terms of getting the shed built as quickly as possible. They come to our yard and discussed the location and preparation of the site. The building process was extremely quick (under two days) and not at all disruptive, and the construction personnel were highly competent and professional as were the painters. The resulting shed is just what we wanted, attractive, solid and ready for our equipment. I can’t recommend Shed Builders highly enough.

NC Shed Builders are great!! Jeremy helped coordinate choosing the right design and schedule a time for install. Answered all our questions along the way and through completion. Gregory completed the build and did a great job!

They did a great job. The shed is very nice. I live in a townhouse and there are shared sheds for each 2 THs (don't ask me why, at least I get along well with my neighbor). Ours was dilapidated and we wanted to replace it. NC Shedbuilders doesn't usually do this type of shed. But they did forbus. There's a door on each side and a divider in the middle. My neighbor even got a window in his side. They were very professional, patient and created a custom product. Thanks guys! Don't judge the photo, I haven't painted the trim yet.

From estimate to construction they communicated quickly. They arrived on-time, finished in one day, and did it at a competitive cost. Two months later since construction and shed has had zero issues. Would recommend and use again.

We worked with the lovely and helpful team to have a 10x12 shed built in our backyard. We're new to homeownership and had questions about size and placement, which the team answered very clearly and promptly. They were able to schedule the build around our timeline, which was great. The construction team slogged through a mire after a week of rain, but had the whole structure up in a day, leveled and roofed. Because of the rain, we needed to wait to have it painted, but that was also done in a day. We were so glad to find a local Durham business that came highly recommended by a friend, and working with them was a breeze. We've had the shed for a few months now and it's been perfect for our purposes. Definitely work with this team for a shed, if you need one!

The shed was built in two days but there were several issues with the finishing that we noticed. Without going into details about what those were, I am happy to share that NC Shed builders went above and beyond to correct each and every one. First, the owner was very attentive to our concerns and reassured us that quality is his number one priority. Not once did he dismiss our concerns. Second, the owner conducted his own inspection and swiftly and effectively addressed any and all problems that we, and he, identified. Third, the owner took the initiative to add extra finishing touches that enhanced the look and functionality of the shed, which was an unexpected but VERY pleasant surprise.

Overall, my husband and I are beyond satisfied!! We recommend NC Shed Builders to anyone and everyone. There is no comparison. Period. While you may find cheaper prices elsewhere, keep in mind you get what you paid for. NC Shed's quality, customer service, and professionalism cannot be matched. It was a decision I am very satisfied with, the company has a quality product and superior customer service. I had NC Shed Builders build me a custom shed last year, and received a follow-up call from Will the other day. I realized that I should write a review, as they did a great job for me! I had very specific ideas of what I needed, and Al worked with me to modify their existing plans to fit exactly what I wanted. I also contracted with them to paint the finished shed to match my house, and it looks fantastic. Have received many compliments from neighbors about it. NC Shed Builders is local and they are extremely easy to work with. The quality of their work is first-class, and the prices reasonable. Highly recommended!

Absolutely a great experience! Their price beat other quotes for the same exact shed. They had it built in 3 days (one of which it rained ALL day and that didn't stop Gregory)!! Every thing is LEVEL!!! They gave me great advice on how to protect anything from the floor to the doors so it will last "decades, not years". Raleigh came out and inspected it today and I am good to start moving stuff into it. Thank you NC Shed Builders!

I would highly recommend NC Shed Builders. The builder was very good at his craft while attentive to detail and maintaining a clean worksite. I've done some building, so I know good and bad materials when I see it. The materials used by NCSB were of very good quality. However, if your project requires electrical installation, I would not recommend the electrical company, TH Electrical, contracted by NCSB. I explained that I was planning to drywall the interior and install a light fixture other than the single bulb fixture they installed. But the crew conducting the electrical installation installed the junction box and interior light fixture 2 inches too low requiring me to remove and reinstall. Because one of the screw heads on the newly installed junction box had been stripped out during installation, I had to break the box to remove it and buy a new one. They were required to dig a trench from my house to the shed in which to bury the electrical line. In the process, they cut an obsolete underground cable. In their defense, the cable, unlike other utilities, had not been identified. However, after backfilling, they left the cable end sticking about 18 inches out of the ground. In addition, they left several pieces of cut tree roots and a 4-foot section of 4x4 post, which they had used as a tamp when backfilling, scattered around the area. In digging the trench, they dug underneath an existing walkway of steppingstones surrounded by gravel, all within steel edging. when they tried to repair the walkway, they failed to get all the gravel back within the walkway edging. While these complaints may not sound like major issues, they are indicative of sloppy work and little concern for the customer. My suggestion is to get your shed from NCSB but just request or hire a different electrical contractor. I would have given a five-star rating in this review except for the electrical work.

These guys were awesome from start to finish. The crew showed up right on time, worked super fast but carefully, and built my shed perfectly in just two days. Solid construction, no shortcuts, and they cleaned up everything afterward like they were never there. Really impressed with how professional and efficient they were—definitely recommend

I've dealt with a lot of services over the past couple of years. Landscaping, builders, concrete, flooring, painters and now of course shed dealers. My dealings with NC Shed Builders has been among the best of all of them. We had been looking at sheds for a few weeks when I saw their display at the Southern Ideal Home Show at the fairgrounds. We talked to Carolina and others on the sales team and were impressed by what we saw. We got an estimate, made a couple of changes and in no time we were on the schedule.

We think that the shed looks great and is built very well! It is a great addition to our property and adds to the value and usability of our house. Our neighbors are jealous!

The builder, Gregory was on time, professional, personable, easy to work with and he did an awesome job! He was great at explaining building techniques. I was amazed at how quickly it went up.

I questioned a couple of items about the build and someone came out the next week to look at it and address them. The issues were addressed to my satisfaction 100%.

I loved working with NC Shed builder. Carolina was my salesperson. She was wonderful. As matter of fact I had hard time making up my mind since 2022. Her professionalism and personality made me come back to NC Shed builder in 2026 to finally get my Shed. The builder Gregory was exceptional. He did a great job. Gregory, our shed builder, what can I say? That guy is one of the hardest working individuals I've seen in a very long time. He was great about sending arrival updates, arrived extremely prepared and organized, very knowledgeable, incredibly productive, attention to detail was spot on, and he worked diligently in spite of bad weather. Gregory also took time at the end of the project to walk through the details of the shed, including how to maintain the shed and how to keep it looking great for years. All of the extra information that he provided has been very helpful. In the week since I've had the shed, I've wondered why it took me so long to buy a shed!

Having the shed built on site also saved me from having to deal with taking down my fence for other shed builders who only deliver sheds built at their site. If I ever need another shed, NC Shed Builders will be my first choice. I highly recommend NC Shed Builders!
