Al at NC Shed Builders built us a regular-sized shed, a very large, custom shed, and repaired a third, previously existing shed. We have always been pleased with his work and would hire him again without a second thought if we ever needed further sheds. Highly recommended.

I chose NCSB from the Google reviews, and could not be happier! I had a challenging project to remove a very old and dilapidated shed in a difficult location and build a new one. Start to finish, this was a painless project (for me!), each stage of the work was completed quickly, on time and as promised. NCSB debunks any contractor "horror" story you've heard in the past, and operates very efficiently and professional. A+++ company!

Before you buy a shed or build your own, talk to Al and he will tell you about all the features that they include....the years or designing and building sheds clearly show.

Ben built the shed in my back yard and he built it more like a house than a shed, the fit and finish is outstanding, it looks awesome!

They were fast, on time, and responsive to my needs and concerns....I couldn't ask for more.

I asked NC Shed Builders to design and build a goose house. They built it beautifully and went beyond the original scope of work to find a good way to access the elevated shed. They made me aware of an electrical line running across where one of the posts was dug. Rather than just pouring concrete over it we found a good way to still make it accessible if necessary in the future. I highly recommend them and would use them again. Thanks!

Jennifer and Al were amazing on a project that was 100% custom. They listened and were flexible in the style as well as certain material that was requested. They built a 12x20 in a 5 day time period. I am very impressed with NC Shed Builders. From the beginning Jennifer was very responsive providing estimates and drawings. I must have changed my mind 5 times. They completed the project on schedule and Al (the owner) was hands on with building the shed. I highly recommend NC Shed Builders

We had an overall poor experience with NC Shed Builders and would not recommend this company.

We initially contacted NCSB in late March of this year and our shed was finally completed in late September, many months longer than the process should take. We spent much of our time this spring waiting for communications and confirmations on plans, costs and build dates with little clarity provided.

The entire process was poorly handled and required significantly more effort on our part than was warranted, including repeatedly contacting to set up meetings, ensure they had submitted permits, and to get drawings.

Jennifer failed to send us updated drawings or corrected invoices. Jeff, the salesman, failed to realize and communicate that our job would exceed the legally allowable cost because NCSB does not (or did not) have a general contractors license.

We were told that our permits were submitted, but upon contacting the city found out they were submitted over a month after we were told they were. It wasn't until we contacted the owner, four months into the process, that movement started at all. He further attempted to blame us for the situation.
Our work was eventually completed, but even during construction we felt like we shouldered the burden for expediting the permit process and checking up on items that after sustaining such poor experience should have been prioritized by NCSB.
Further, due to the constraints of the legally allowable cost without a GC license, we are left to complete the remaining work on our own to stay under this limit.

The shed itself is adequate.

Great experience using NC Shed Builders, from Al, the owner, Wil, our salesman, Ashley in the office and Greg, our shed builder. They were all friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We chose the 10x12 Statesman model and the shed is exactly as specified and very well built using quality materials. Greg is a very conscientious builder. I would highly recommend calling NC Shed Builders if you're thinking about getting a shed built on site.

They were very professional and when life on my end got busy, Carolina was genuinely concerned and called us to make sure everything was going ok. Great communication on their end! Jeff was also very flexible with us. When we ended up getting sick and had to delay, he was very kind and patient.

Our shed is wonderful! Our neighbor kept looking at it and said "that shed looks like it's going to outlast your house!" 😂. Gregory who built it was very knowledgeable and asked important questions beforehand. He was communicative on when he would be arriving and did everything on schedule.

We hired for a custom designed chicken coop build from a shed design. Super responsive the entire time throughout the process, very transparent on availability, pricing and estimates were accurate and fair. Amazing craftsmanship and then followed up after to correct some very minor cosmetic things after the painting was completed. Highly recommend!

After getting our estimate from NC Shed Builders we had some issues getting tree removal for where we wanted the shed. Ashley and Wil worked with us to get us a new date for the install and were very responsive to all of our email inquiries. Our installation tech Greg was amazing and worked very fast with a keen eye for detail. He also took the time to ask us at key points about details (where did you want your shelves and things like that). Overall this company was great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

NC Shed Builders did an absolutely incredible job on a custom shed that fits perfectly in just the right spot in my back yard. I cannot recommend them enough!

NC Shed Builders did an amazing job on our new shed. They were able to alter their design a bit to include a lean-to and it's exactly how we wanted it- it's great to have the extra sheltered space. The shed is extremely solid, and built with great precision, and it went up in no time at all. We store hay in it and it's completely leak proof. I would totally use them again- great communication as well. .

I was very happy with how my shed turned out. NC Shed Builders worked with me to accommodate some custom changes that I wanted. I preferred a smaller shed ,different door style, and other modifications. Jennifer and Allen were great to work with and my shed turned out great! I would highly recommend them for your outdoor building needs.

From start to finish the shed build was amazing. Gregory, who built our shed, was wonderful. His attention to detail during the build was incredible. He was professional and responsive and even took the time to show my 5 year old how he was building. My son was thrilled to talk to him and watch him build and Gregory was so patient with all his questions.
