The service was great. I had good communication with the crew and they were able to help me with my yard that got out of hand because my lawnmower broke down. I highly recommend them and will be using them again.

We’ve been really happy with our LawnStarter Pro for the past two years. We always know when they’ll be here, how much it will be, and what services we’re getting. We can pause when needed and add in pruning and leaf cleanup. The app makes it easy to communicate directly with our pro, Erick.

LawnStarter is a great company. They sent Josh out to cut my lawn and it looks great. They have very reasonable prices and they will cut your grass weekly or biweekly. The first cut was only $19 . I am very satisfied with their service and I recommend them to anyone looking for lawn care service.

I was pleased with the results of the hedge trimming. The final shape was natural and the trimmings were removed. Despite the relatively out of order condition of the hedges the crew managed to finish up the job quickly and neatly. I would feel comfortable recommending the crew to someone else. The lawn was mowed at the same time and it looks great too.

Cory did a thorough job with junk removal and communicated well! He didn’t have the materials to complete the task the first day, but made sure to come back in a timely manner. Thank you!

Andrew and team did a great job. I contacted them proactively to see if schedule of service was still in effect after rain passed. Andrew responded in a nice and welcoming tone, gave expected time frame and was there as stated and within 20 min my 5000 sq ft was mowed, and trimmed. I will definitely keep him and his service as regular scheduled lawn service.

Dylan with LawnStarter did a Fantastic job with cutting my lawn. I am particular about the height and my yard is not the easiest to mow. I have a bank out front that slopes to a busy road and a backyard that needs much TLC. I have been happy with his professional work and would recommend him to anyone that asks for my opinion.

Update 5/31: After multiple phone calls our claim was reviewed again and noted as

“We have conducted a fair and thorough investigation. We truly sympathize with your situation and regret any disappointment this may bring. It appears that the reported damages do not match the typical patterns associated with mowing equipment. We have concluded your claim.”

So ridiculous. Please read this and proceed cautiously. One mow is costing us $1019.

Update 5/29: please note the resolution noted by the response was nothing. They are not responsible since essentially a third party company. Please avoid at all costs. I had a terrible lawn mow and now $1000 in fence damage with no way to get any of this covered.

Fence damaged by lawn mowing professional. Told that damage doesn’t match with what they expect (?) and notified that they are only a platform and not responsible for repairs.

Please beware of this service.

Update: recommended solution was to contact lawn service provider who’s email doesn’t work. Otherwise no resolution to remedy this issue presented.

Additional update: service provider doesn’t recall damage and “this area of the yard does not require mowing” so they will not process damage claim. Not that they had to get mower through this gate!

The "resolution" provided is essentially you're out of luck and you can't prove that the lawn team damaged your gate.

Please stay very far away from this service.

It can be a bit of a mixed bag depending on the pro that takes your job.

However I finally landed on a pro that does a good consistent job, really happy with my current pro, Peter from Deanscapes. The app works 98% of the time and is easy to use, and has good functionality. Honestly I love that I can just do it all in the app without having to make a bunch of calls myself.

Super easy to book services and at a great price. We just moved into our home and the lawn was way overgrown. They were able to send Xavier within a couple of days and he did a great job getting our yard on track! We appreciate the lower commitment as we figure out our routine and plans for maintaining the yard.

They've got a clunky app and really bad customer service. They have repeatedly canceled my scheduled mows at the last minute while they find me a new "pro". I've left clear instructions that I only want the front yard serviced, and yet their "pros" have come into my backyard repeatedly. They make it incredibly difficult to cancel service, too. Avoid. Find a reputable individual you can trust to mow your lawn, because this service is terrible.

Philip is a great and responsible person. He did a great job and explained what he found. I would keep him for all future service if he’s available at the time I request. I appreciate his work and help.

Great overall experience! The one experience that sticks out the most is I was rescheduled due to weather, and my son's wedding party was coming up that weekend. I said as much to them and was surprised to see them cutting my lawn late in the evening. I was so pleasantly surprised. I hope I thanked them enough!
