I would give 10 stars if possible. I will use E & C for all future tree removal and land clearing. We contacted him for an estimate for clearing about 1/2 an acre of land in durham county. Erick came out friday, gave us an estimate and then began work the following monday. Very competitive price (best in the area) for the amount of land clearing and was very patient with our constant changes and requests. Furthermore, provided great insight and knowledge on the different types of trees. They have earned our commitment to them and we will recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you very much E & C team!!

We had been in our home for over 1 year and needed to have approximately 15 downed trees removed. Additionally, we needed a cut up tree and a small tree removed and approximately 5 stumps leveled closer to the ground. While we had contacted numerous companies, it did not become urgent until we realized 1 tall pine tree over 40 feet that was dead and had been dropping huge limbs.

We contacted E & C Tree Services on Thumbtack. Erick responded the same day and scheduled an appointment to provide a free estimate. He offered us such an amazing price that we hired him on the spot. He performed the job the next day.

What sets this company apart from others is Erick is very approachable and honest. I was the point person because my husband was at work, and as a woman, he did not look at me strangely. He gave me the same respect he would give anyone, and I appreciated that. While some companies were a no-show, no call numerous times, Erick kept every promise he made. The first day he came out, he protected us in making us aware of another tree that was dying and would have possibly been dead in 1 year. We were able to add this to the job. In comparison, the other companies never looked outside of the specified scope. I know nothing about trees, and I appreciated that Erick had forethought to mention this dying tree.

The day of the job, Erick and his team arrived early, and they performed more than the initial scope and did not charge an additional price to do so. I tipped him; however, it was much less than the value of the overall job. I can tell in Erick's actions that tree cutting is about more than money for him; it is about keeping his customers safe and performing a job of high quality.

As long as Erick has a business and we need trees or tree limbs cut, we will call him only. Beyond the awesome price, the level of customer service he and his team provide is priceless.

We had a dangerous tree! It was a 150 yr. old oak tree. The tree split and fell into the road. Eric gave me a GREAT PRICE to remove, grind the stump, trim the under canopy of 7 other trees (that could become dangerous), chipped all the branches, raked up all the debris and left me with nice hardwood mulch. When the grass grows in the old tree area... it will look like a "golf course". Eric and his crew are very knowledgeable, fast, tidy and pleasant. E & C tree service is a 5 star company!

I was so pleased with the work that Erick did at my home with his tree service. He was so professional, and his quote was honest, and the work was done in a timely manner. I was referred to him by my neighbor and I was so thankful to have him to cut trees down on my property. I look forward to having him do more work for me in the near future and I will refer to all my friends and family.

Eric did a fantastic job removing a dangerous dead tree in my backyard. I had been told from another tree service that it was going to be a difficult job to pull off, but his crew had it down and cut up in fifteen minutes. Highly recommended!

We had a very tall pine tree leaning badly toward the power line, in our congested back yard. E&C came with a very professional and well-equipped crew, who worked quickly and carefully to take it down. They cleaned up meticulously, didn't do any damage (even directly over the roof), and did it all at a very reasonable price.

Absolutely amazing customer service and workmanship. We called on Monday and trees and stumps were removed by Friday morning. Everyone was professional and respectful. I cannot say enough great things about E & C. They are who we will call anytime we need tree services. Thank you so much!

There were a couple issues.
1. the delivery pile was 1/2 in the street, blocking the storm drain from the gutter. This is also a violation of the city.
2. the delivery contents was about 1/3 to 1/2 OLD rotting pine straw, etc. (clearly not freshly chipped needles). It was dusty and moldy and not what we ordered. It contained old rotting yard waste material mixed in with some fresh chips.
I do NOT recommend this business as a ChipDrop supplier.

We had a trunk of a rotting maple fall and E&C Tree came for emergency removal. They then came back to take down the tree as it was in poor health. At every step of the way they prioritized safety while being efficient and caring. Thank you to Erick and his entire crew!! Don’t hesitate to hire them.

These guys are amazing. I had a huge tree that was rotting that was between our house and my neighbors. They came in the morning and were gone by 3:00 they cleaned up and all wood was carried off. Very professional and easy to work with. I have used them several times and would definitely recommend E & C Tree Service. Thanks guys y’all are great!

Worked diligently and very hard to get the job done. Job site was left clean and neat.
Treatment of conifers for root rot will be successful I am hoping. That service was done promptly too.
