David Morales with The Holt Group was amazing! Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and walked through his findings with my buyer being sure to answer every question she had. He was not in a hurry and made her feel very comfortable with the entire process. Great experience!

We closed on our house in March 2024. An inspection was done on the home by this company. We were happy with the results of the inspection until we discovered that the previous owners had placed wax paper under the kitchen sink to hide a water leak that has been going on for quite sometime. The inspector did not report anything to us during the inspection to indicate an issue. During move in I discovered the issue. I immediately call the Holt Group. I was only given an apology and the excuse that the company can not remove any wax paper. I totally understand that, however you could clearly see the rotten wood through the wax paper. I will not recommend this company because the amount that the inspection cost does not align with the poor quality service I received.

Matthew Tillman was thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely want him to do our next home inspection. Can’t recommend him enough!

Pillar to Post did an awesome job on my client’s premium home inspection. Vince Imel was very personable, really demonstrated his expertise by answering questions, and was able to get the report out the same day. The 360 Virtual Tour & floorplan were great additions for my client as well. Dan was also great and let me check out the thermal imaging in action. The provided binder the client gets with a seasonal checklist and cost estimate access is also a great addition to the inspection. I called Pillar To Post (Holt Group) three separate times and spoke with the same representative, Ms. Michelle. I explained I was purchasing a home with a VA loan and currently living out of state. Michelle was responsive—she sent me quotes and information via email. I was quoted $750.00.

After comparing a few local prices, I decided to move forward with them—not because they were the cheapest, but because they had great reviews and seemed to prioritize quality. Given I couldn’t be there in person, that trust was important.

The inspection itself went well—David, the inspector, did a great job. However, the problems started after the fact. My lender informed me that Pillar To Post failed to complete all the VA-required inspection components, despite the fact that I had made it very clear multiple times that this was a VA loan. Because of this, I was told I’d have to pay for a second inspection.

The supervisor did call and apologize, but apologies didn’t fix the fact that I was now on the hook for additional costs—due to their oversight. To make things worse, I agreed to schedule a second inspection, and the inspector never even showed up.

If you’re purchasing a home out of state and need someone to handle things thoroughly and professionally—especially for a VA loan—I cannot recommend this company. The initial communication was fine, the inspection decent, but the follow-through and accountability were poor. I ended up paying for their mistake.

David Morales was excellent! He has a fantastic positive personality. David took the time to explain things to us and made sure we understood. He was thorough and as promised we had our report that evening. David was customer focused. The Holt Group should be proud to have David as an employee. I would also like to recognize Michelle Szyjka. Michelle was the first person I spoke with when I called for an appointment. As the voice of The Holt Group her customer service skills were exemplary. She was very efficient and thorough and went above and beyond to serve me. Kudos to The Holt Group for having such great employees!

Great inspection and communication from Pillar to Post while we were in the process of buying a home. The inspection sheet also came with lots of pictures so we can also assess how severe something was along with a great description of the inspected items.

They also offered help beyond the inspection to include helping with getting services started at the home and referring us to reputable tradesmen that were licensed and capable of fixing items that were on the inspection report. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Dave Morales is an excellent inspector who takes the time to explain and show you the issues with the house and its systems. He made an excellent report of all the known issues of the house and was very thorough, looking in all the areas that needed addressing. He made a 3d floor plan of the house which made it easy to understand and digitally “walk” through the house, to be honest, I would like the real estate companies to use the exact same 3d model that was used on the inspection for the virtual walk through on Zillow or similar sites. We purchased the wood destroying insect inspection and the sewer scope inspection and both were carried out timely and accurately. Overall very satisfied with the services we received and would recommend this company’s services to everyone looking for a new home.

After living in Fayetteville for 9 years and having dealt with many other contractors I can honestly say that these guys are the best hands down for the price and quality of the work you get. I needed a lot of work done to get my home sold and could not have been happier with the work and overall experience dealing with this company.

We had extensive work done on our home with Mr. Albert and his crew. To date, which has been over six months we have not had Mr. Albert's crew out to our home to correct the damage done by members of the crew which have resulted in further structure damage. I met with Mr. Robert once and was assured by him that the repairs would be done, that was approximately 5 months ago. Since then I have received text messages from Mr. Albert (none from Robert) giving excuses at to why my family and I are not being taken care of. Unfortunately I feel like Mr. Robert either does not care, or is not being kept in the loop about out struggles. Either way this has left our home damaged and we are PLEADING to get this resolved.

The crew was prompt, prepared, and professional. 10/10 would recommend. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

I needed several areas of vinyl siding repaired from weed eater damage before listing my home for sale. Gay and her team reached out promptly after I requested a quote on their website. They came by to assess my needed repairs and really understood what my goals were. Gay went to at least 6 different locations in Fayetteville until she found the perfect matching vinyl. Living 30 mins north of Fayetteville, I was very impressed with the level of effort she exerted to ensure our siding would match perfectly (minus a little fading). Once they found the appropriate match, she ordered extra siding at my request and promptly repaired the damaged areas. Gay’s team even moved some of the siding from a hidden area so that the faded areas would be a perfect match. I also worked with Robert for pricing, he was very reasonable and understood my price constraints. I am very thankful to Gay and Robert for their prompt service, professionalism, quality of work, and affordability. I would not hesitate to use their service again and recommend them fully.
