Woody and Jack were fantastic to work with. Communicative, concise, fairly priced and showed up when they said they would. After-service follow up and assistance was not only offered but encouraged if at all needed. You need look no further for HVAC professionals.

Edit 2/10/25: Had Jack back out for a much more significant issue (unrelated to his first visit) and once again these guys showed me why they are my only call for HVAC work. Showed up to the minute, job was done in no time and he even took the time to show me on the faulty part what had gone wrong. You can’t beat these guys for HVAC work, you just can’t.

Jack and Woody are honest people who quality work at a very fair price. Our AC unit needed a part that was on backorder and it took a week or so to be delivered from the manufacturer, but in the meantime they came out three times to refill my unit to ensure that it stayed cool in the meantime. They went above and beyond and we're very happy with their service.

Our upstairs A.C., which is original to the house, going almost on 20 years ago, went out last Saturday. Didn't know who to call, and some friends recommended Woody from South Wake Hvac! He sent out Jack, the awesome repair tech. I was hoping for some good news, and they sure did deliver. Jack fixed it in no time. All it needed was a new capacitor and fan motor. He said the unit is old, but it still works! I highly recommend these guys. Good, honest, and fair with the price. Jack was so down to earth, it was like talking to my best friend. If you need any repairs, call them first. You'll be glad you did!

Initially spoke with Woody about needing diagnostics done at some point in the coming days with no rush, and within a few hours Jack was here and figured out the problem. The part was ordered that day. Prompt, efficient communication! Jack came back as promised a few days later when the part arrived and installed it without issue. Very polite and professional! Highly recommended!!

I have been using this company for going on 7 years. They installed and now service my AC. I can’t recommend them enough and would never consider calling anyone else. They respond quick and fix the problem. Their communication is great. I just can’t praise them enough honestly. South Wake replaced my upstairs overflow pan which was leaking water all over my floor and on my 2nd floor.

I like the new setup with the float switch in the drain pan and my new in-line overflow shut-off backup system stops water from even reaching my drain pan. Water damage is expensive. So having a backup system to protect me from the next flood upstairs is comforting.

Also had to replace my downstairs unit. Check out the pictures of my new Trane XR15 3.0-ton split system heat pump.

I didn't get images of the two switches on the unit upstairs. But for sure ask about this setup if only have a floating switch in your drain pan!

Also, Woody's son rewired how the floating switch work. Not going to say what he did or why it's better here. Can't give away all their HVAC secrets...

Jack came out to check out our AC unit which was shutting off. Listened to the troubleshooting efforts I did and was able to quickly determine what the issue was. Jack was very knowledgeable and passionate in the work he and his father Woody does. Jack was able to confirm and solve the issue of a clogged condensate drain pipe and we were set. He was there to help repair and educate me and I am very thankful for him coming out and being very genuine and helpful. Will be using Jack and Woody again!

The crew was very nice to us, respectful of our property, and did a great job installing the unit. We are very happy with how it looks, how quiet it is, and most importantly, how cool the room is now! We were happy to be able to spend our money with a local business owner. We hired them for our regular maintenance and plan to use them for any other HVAC need we have.
