South Wake HVAC with Woody Stokes was absolutely fantastic! Woody came out immediately after our heater went out and was working on it the next day. He was very thorough and honest and presented us with an affordable estimate. I would definitely recommend him if you have a heating/air conditioning unit that needs repair. In addition, Woody is very professional but also very personable....a good guy.

Once again Jack and Woody save the day and got my heat working again. This is second time I have needed their services (first was a low Freon issue on a new home build unit). I had a clogged valve causing the heat pump to shutoff due to high pressure. Jack quickly diagnosed the problem, took the time to explain the issue, and got the unit repaired in a few days once the part arrived. Will definitely reach out to them again in the future if I have any more issues.

I called South Wake HVAC on an emergency basis and the response was promptly. Woody pinpointed the problem right away. I needed to wait a couple of days for the part to arrive but he returned and replaced it and the unit started running like new. Woody was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable. Shopping local wins again! No weekend hours, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Jack showed up on time. He also let me know what he’d checked and what he was checking next. He told me the issue, fixed it and was gone in under an hour. Jack was polite and easy to work with.

South Wake is a 2 man, father/son show. Woody (dad) and Jack (son) were great. I highly recommend them! They are based in Fuquay and have lower prices than the impersonal larger HVAC places.

South wake HVAC came to the rescue! My AC stopped working and they came out and explained what the problem was. A part needed to be ordered, unfortunately the weather was not in our favor. But as soon as the part came in they were here to repair the problem. I was told it would take 5-6 hours to repair it, but it took half that time and we were back in business with our AC sooner than we expected. Thank you to Woody and Jack, you guys are awesome!

I have been using this company for years. Woody has always been extremely responsive. He has done everything for us from AC repair, AC replacement, AC preventive/routine care, and extending our gas line into our kitchen for our new gas stove. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. We love our new AC unit- it is more efficient and we have seen a decrease in our electric bill while staying cooler! Our AC stopped blowing cool air on a Sunday evening in the middle of summer. We contacted South Wake HVAC early Monday morning and they were able to fit us in that day, thankfully! They arrived earlier than expected and were able to diagnose and fix the problem in record time, which was impressive and appreciated but beyond that, time was taken to explain the issue, what went wrong, how it was addressed and fixed, answered questions, etc. The professionalism and quality of service is phenomenal and we have already recommended to several family and friends. South Wake has been our go-to HVAC company for years. They are incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and understanding. When we came home from the hospital with our new born, on a weekend, to a 90 degree house, they were out there to fix it within an hour. They don’t just do great work, they’re great people who care.
