My neighbor introduced me to Happy Cans when I moved in. Such a great service! Prevented having smelly trash cans and cut down the amount of pesty flies!

The best service ever! They make it so easy to have clean trash and recycling cans. We don't have to do anything extra - We leave our trash/recycling can out just as we normally do on their respective days, the trash and recycling is collected and Happy Cans comes through that same day and cleans the cans, leaving them exactly where they found them so I can pull the can back in at the end of the day. The service is seamless and we're left with sparkling clean cans after. Highly recommend!

I am so glad this company exists! As we all know, garbage cans get dirty very quickly and getting them cleaned once a month by Happy Cans really helps keep the nastiness away. It's also extremely affordable and worth every penny!

Happy Cans of Wake County did a great job for us. Our bins were so clean after the monthly service, which significantly reduced odor. Their office is reliably friendly and responsive. I can heartily recommend them!

Summer in NC is great, but the heat can turn your trash cans to a major fly trap. After my first summer I signed up for Happy Cans, they text you the day before, you leave your cans out and they come buy and clean and deodorize the cans. Reduces the fly's stops the stink. Easy, inexpensive, and well worth the monies spent.

Website let me schedule and pay. No one came on scheduled date. Sent a few emails with no replies and the phone number also seems to be disconnected.

Will update review should I hear back. Until then you should hold off on scheduling any service. Hopefully the owner is doing okay, not sure why else they'd drop off

Update: They seem to have changed the site so there may be less confusion about booking. It was December as well so it could’ve just been an honest mistake. However I only receive a refund/response when I mentioned disputing the charge on their instagram.

If they haven’t already, hopefully they consider updating the system to charge only after appointments are confirmed.

If you are considering signing up, I’d recommend using a credit card just incase you need to dispute.

We were very happy with having Happy Cans come out and take care of our bins. There was prompt communication, we received a reminder as to when they would arrive and they did a great job. Very friendly and took care of everything quickly. Absolutely great service and I can't recommend them more.

The team did a superb job of making sure both my trash cans looked sparkling new. They were proactive in their communications and I appreciated how they flexed their route to accommodate my schedule. They are highly professional and the quality of their work is superb! Strongly recommend.

I've been using happy cans for several years now and the service has always been good. What has been terrible since new ownership took over is the communication. I had a minor issue to discuss, and no matter how many times I reached out, or which method (the phone number on the site is not functional), I still have yet to receive a response. Because of this I'd never recommend this company to another person again.

Recently, the owner took a holiday off when trash did not. I understand holidays and taking time off, but if your entire business is predicated on timing service with trash pick up, it's not exactly the best customer experience. That caused lots of issues for myself and my neighbors.

There are many vendors who offer the same services, so if communication is something that matters to you I'd look elsewhere. Giving them two stars because the quality of the service has always been good.

Scheduled a cleaning service my account was charged no confirmation no answer to any of my Followup emails and their phone has been shut off. Do not put your credit card information on this website.

Update: they got back to me. They were having technical difficulties and said they were issuing a refund. Still would use caution.

We have used happy cans multiple times now, and each time they have done a fantastic job! Excellent communication and a service worth paying for!

Happy Cans went above and beyond. Our entire street was missed for recycling pickup on Wednesday, and I was away all day yesterday, but that didn’t stop their team on our pre-scheduled can cleaning day. They emptied the recycling bin themselves, cleaned it, and put my recyclables back in—something many other service providers would have skipped.

Sure, I could have saved $60 and done it myself, but while I was tied up with my own business, this was a no-brainer investment in getting time back. Both the trash can and recycling bin are now spotless and odor-free.
