We’ve used several different plumbers in the area over the past 8 years, and I wish I had called Jayk’s the first time. We had a massive sewer line that needed replacing for almost a year as it was hanging over our heads as we were originally quoted about $6000 over 3 days of work. Finally, we decided to try one last plumber and Jayks was the winner.

The plumber, José, and his partner were professional and friendly and showed up right when they said they would. They dug a large 6’ hole by hand, removed and repaired the damaged sewer line (tree roots), and filled it in all in one day. They also did it at a fraction of the cost we were originally quoted. I can’t recommend Jayk’s enough - they communicate via text mostly which is great, but are always friendly on the phone as well.

In particular, I want to give a shout out to José. This young man is awesome. He has fixed a few things for us in the past month and gets the job done every time. He even has gone above and beyond to paint and seal in bathroom areas where there was damage. He deserves a raise!

Jayk's was great to work with! Very easy to communicate with and get on the schedule. They were very professional, told me what to expect, and gave me a more than fair price for the work I needed done. They arrived on time and finished the project early. Jason did a excellent repair for me. He was on time and worked very efficiently. His price was very reasonable. He is honest! Most consumers know little about plumbing so this is very important. Call him, you won't be sorry.

Had a leak under the sink. Showed up early. Jose and his partner were very professional. Wore gloves and mask and booties. Identified the problem and gave me options. Gave me a reasonable price. Work they did looks great and didn't take long. No wasted time. Will definitely call next time!

We called Jayk’s on a Thursday morning and they were able to come to our house that afternoon. Our disposal had been wonky and we were having leaks under the sink. They were able to diagnose the problem and install new pipes that afternoon. Both technicians wore masks the entire time. They were knowledgeable, professional, efficient and kind. We will certainly call on Jayk’s when our 1987 house starts acting up again!

Jose came out for a leaking kitchen faucet. He arrived exactly on time and quickly found out there was just a loose piece and nothing needed to be replaced. He was kind enough to not charge for the service and relieved a lot of stress from expecting an expensive repair. Very professional and down to earth service, I will definitely be coming back to Jayk's for all my plumbing needs in the future.

10 star Rating. Jayk's should be your first call. Awesome customer service, fast repair times and best of all the job gets done right the first time. This has been the BEST experience I have had in dealing with plumbing companies. I manage a rental property and needed a repair for the tenant. It was beyond my knowledge. I called Jayk's on a Friday afternoon. After calling multiple companies and getting the "we can come out on Saturday for double the price or we can't make it until next week" answers. I left a voicemail and within less than 5 minutes Jason called me back asking about the issue. I explained the situation and text him a few photos. He arrived quickly after and had the problem fixed with as minimal damage to ceiling and drywall as possible. Not only that but his price was cheaper than the others who quoted me for a job they couldn't even do until after the weekend. Jason was very polite and did not belittle me for not being able to get the job done. Jason at Jayk's will be my first call from now on. Truly one of a kind service.

We had an emergency plumbing situation with waste spilling into our crawlspace. I contacted our home warranty company and was told the plumber we had to use would contact us in 24 hours and had a seven day window to come out to look at our situation. This was was unacceptable so I gave Jayks a call. Jason came out to my house 30 minutes later, assessed the situation, and went to work. Before I knew it the plumbing was fully operational again and I couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend giving Jayks a call.

We called Jayk's first thing in the morning when water heater started leaking and they arrived within half an hour. Able and Jose were incredibly efficient, professional, and kind - they had our water heater replaced, as well as fixed our supply line and rusted out water valve all within a couple of hours, and way below budget from what we were quoted by other companies. I can't say enough about how impressed we were with their service. They are taking serious COVID precautions and made us feel safe throughout their service. We will definitely be calling them anytime we have plumbing needs in the future!

I had an ancient corroded pipeline under my house with several leaky valves and fittings connecting a well to several outside faucets, plus a leaky toilet inside the house. Jason came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the repairs. A few days later he came back, did the repairs, found a number of other leaks in that line that sprang up while he was working, fixed all of them, and charged his original estimate. He is punctual, friendly, and incredibly competent. I would recommend him to anyone.

We had a busted pipe (small leak) at our well pump and an electrical issue. They came out the day after Christmas and got it fixed in a couple of hours. The charge was $250, which seems like a reasonable price. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be less. We're very happy to have our water back and would highly recommend Jayk's, LLC.

Great experience and super fast. Our sump pump was broken and a lot of water in our crawl space from all the rain this winter. We also had a very clogged shower. Jose and the other plumber were super fast, very respectful of our home (always wiped mud off and wore boot covers before coming inside), wore masks and kept proper social distancing. Also, the prices seemed very reasonable, and they accept credit cards or checks for payment.

I called the main number at 1:45pm, and by 4:30pm everything was fixed, installed and cleaned up. Jose did a great job going over everything that they did, and double checked that we were happy with everything before they left. Will not hesitate to use Jayk's again!

I've used Jayk's twice - once to install a toilet, and once to help with a smelly sink faucet - I received fantastic service both times, and would highly recommend Jayk for your plumbing needs. He was friendly, helpful and informative, and more than reasonably priced. I also have a couple friends who have used his services in the past, and were very happy with him.

We called to have our garbage disposal replaced. Jayk's set up an appointment to do it and showed up right on time. Abel drove to Lowe's to purchase the exact disposal we wanted and installed it for us. He had to reroute and install some new piping to prevent some of the problems we'd exdperienced with our old unit due to poor pipe routing design, not to mention we went from a 1/3 HP unit to a full 1 HP unit. The whole thing came out perfect and works like a charm. Abel was a true professional and did a great job.
This is the second time we've used Jayk's. They installed a new water heater for us a year ago. They do a great job at a reasonable price. If we have any other plumbing issues we will call on them.

Justin called/texted me back himself and set up an appointment very quickly and responded to several follow-up questions right away. The quote he gave me is what the total ended up being. The plumber who did the job, Lu, was very kind and helpful and efficient and did a great job. I would recommend Jayk’s to family and friends. Very happy!

When I discovered my outdoor water faucet would not shut off, I called Jayk's because of the good reviews posted on google for their speed of service. I was able to speak to someone on my first call and they were able to send someone that same day. Fortunately, it was a simple fix and they were able to repair it in less than 20 min. Great service and very reasonably priced. I would definitely refer Jayk's.

Jayk's Plumbing is a business that has a mission of quality service without having to pay outsized Cadillac prices. I've benefitted from the integrity and skill of Abel, one of his plumbers, more than once. In the most recent visit, the new faucet I had been sold was missing a tiny plastic piece needed to keep water from the faucet's sprayer flooding the house. Abel had installed the new faucet before realizing that the piece had not been included. He was great. He went online and found a nearby store that had the same faucet in stock. He then accompanied me to the store and opened the box while still in the parking lot to insure that all the pieces were there.

In the process of driving there and back again, I got to know that Abel was from Mexico with a wife from the Dominican Republic and a son who excels playing the violin - classical music in orchestras. He also told me that the rhythms of music from the DR are quite different from those of Mexico!

We are new to Durham and had our first official plumbing emergency in our new home. We randomly selected and called Jayk’s. Jason was very professional, helpful, and arrived promptly. He also charged a very reasonable fee and we were very impressed and grateful with the work he did and in the timely manner he completed it. Highly recommended and we will definitely call him again if we ever have any other issues.

This is the fourth time I've had Jayk's come out for a plumbing issue. They always try their very best to schedule the repair as quickly as possible - this time i called on Monday and they sent someone out the next day.
As well as their timeliness, their costs are fair. But it's their honesty that is the big reason that I will continue to use them whenever I have a plumbing issue.
José is the plumber that has been to my house all four times. He is pleasant, respectful and very honest.
If you have a plumbing issue, and are tired of using the overpriced and undercaring large plumbing companies, please give Jayk's a shot.
