Plumbing reviews in Hope Mills, North Carolina

I had an absolutely outstanding experience with this plumbing service. From the moment they arrived, everything felt professional and efficient. They diagnosed the issue quickly, explained what needed to be done in a way that actually made sense, and got straight to work.

Driving down the road, had another car stop to turn in a driveway, barely had time to get up to speed and he passed me on a double yellow going probably 65 in a 55. Very dangerous and unprofessional.

This company sucks!!! Unprofessional and unorganized!
-
Can I give it a Zero???
Terrible Customer Service!! -
On time, and they do a great job!
-
I do not recommend!!! Customer service is very poor and subpar.
-
This company should get a negative star. Worst company I have ever tried to do business with. Stay away from these people.
-
Very unprofessional. If you want to get treated rudely and get hung-up on contact this place. I tried to speak with a supervisor or owner but was refused by the individual.

Is there a zero? Want your spouse called a Fing-B and screamed at while home alone w 2 plumbers, this is the company for you!
-
Had no hot water. They came right out. They were very nice and Jamie had things fixed in half an hour . Could not have been nicer.
-
This company is horrible. They must several appointments, do not call when they are going to miss your appointment and they constantly hang up the phone on you. They are very RUDE. There is no customer service with NICHLOS and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
-
Absolutely terrible customer service. They were contracted through American Home Shield and I advised AHS to drop them. Hopefully they do the right think and stop doing business with Nichol's plumbing. Avoid at all costs.

Refused to assign a technician to our home warranty call. They will place you on hold and never return to the call. It’s been a while since I have seen this poor service.
-
I feel they do not know how to prioritize there calls. When an emergency call comes in that someone has not water and they make them wait for 5 days after the home warranty approves the repair is wrong.
-
When our home warranty company was giving us the run-around with a replacement water heater, Nichols Plumbing stepped in and made sure we got our hot water back! Will definitely call them for repairs in the future.

Assigned by my home warranty company. They never contacted me to set up an appointment. I contacted them twice and did leave a message. After two days, I called my home warranty company and asked for a new contractor to be assigned.

First initial contact was great. A gentleman who I assume was Mr. Nichols came out and quoted what I thought wasa fair enough price that I canceled other quote appointments...he said he would have the girl in the office put me on schedule, but he was about 4 weeks out. I wasnt in a huge hurry, so I was good with whenever. About 2-3 weeks went by and I had no idea when they were coming so I called the office and was told April 6th...that was about 6 weeks from initial quote, but again, no worries, I'm just happy to have a date. Friday April 3rd I called to confirm, but did not get a call back. This morning I called again to see if I could get an ETA, and have yet to hear back...its now 5:30pm April 6th and still haven't heard from anyone...I hope they are healthy and safe, but I guess Im calling new companies tomorrow....maybe next month my project will be done.

I was concerned because of the many bad reviews. But my warranty company uses Nichols. Jamie showed up early and diagnosed the problem with my well right away. He had the part with him and I was good to go in no time at all. I would recommend this company to others.

My home warranty sent me this guy. I can't get a hold of them in the office. He came out to fix my pipe that burst under my house, but he didn't stop to check on everything and I ended up with a smaller leak he didn't fix. I thought a plumber would check everything and make sure it works. I've had my water off and no hot water for a good week during Thanksgiving. I finally got in touch with them and was told they would come between 1 and 5. It's 7pm and I haven't seen them. I called about 4pm and was told that he had some emergencies and would be late. Ticks me off that he didn't bother to call and tell me this. Now it is making me ticked off that he hasn't called again and the office is closed and I'm still sitting here. Now i realize as it is getting dark that he is probably going to have to come on another day causing me once again to have no water and to once again have to miss work.
Also they didn't give me an invoice with what was done so I could go to the water company and electric company to argue down the bills. I had to call three times before finally getting it emailed to me. Bad way to do business. -
Would've given zero stars if possible. I had a blockage in my main drain pipe and cannot shower, wash clothes or dishes. I have American Home Shield home warranty and were told that Nichols Plumbing would be here on Saturday. Around 1pm on Saturday after not hearing anything from Nichols, my wife called them directly and spoke to their (female) dispatcher(?) She advised that the tech was on a call but would be here today. Around 5pm my wife called again but got no answer (more than once). We called American Home Shield and they called Nichols and guess what? Nichols answered the phone! According to American Home Shield, Nichols advised them they were trying to reach their technician but it would probably be tomorrow (Sunday) before they could come. So around noon on Sunday we tried to call Nichols again and you guessed it! Nobody answered! We called American Home Shield and they called Nichols and (of course) they answered the phone! According to American Home Shield, Nichols advised they couldn't get to us today and offered no other date of possible service. We are now using McKenzie's Plumbing who came out within an hour! Nichols should take lessons from McKenzie's on customer service! I will never even consider Nichols Plumbing for any repairs in the future.

Nicholas plumbing was assigned to us through our warranty company. After reading the reviews I was nervous but decided to give them a try. The worker showed up when he said he would, put a temporary bandaid on our hot water heater, got us a new one once the warranty company approved, & showed up when he said he would to install it. He was very friendly & I would use them again. Don't always listen to reviews. We've been burned by companies with good reviews & obviously helped by those with bad ones.
