We had a great experience with CMC, they exceeded our expectations. We had them expand our patio and it looks awesome. The crew was very timely, did a great job of containing the job, and cleaning up after.

These guys are fabulous! They did the stone work around our spill over spa, and built a stone wall for us around our patio. The work is absolutely stunning! They also made sure everything was clean, even got in the pool and spa to get debris out. Always had great communication, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone! We will be using them for a fire pit, and hopefully stone work inside on fireplace.

Carolina Masonry did a fantastic job. The were timely, clean, professional and when I asked for extra tasks they did it with a smile and priced very fair. Many contractors will take advantage of the moment with change orders, but CM was extremely fair. I look forward to the next job the do for me.

We recently worked (Sept 2019) with Mike from Carolina Masonry and Concrete about replacing our driveway. He replied immediately when we called him and he came out to measure to give us a price. His price was extremely fair and we scheduled the job. His team came out and they did everything Mike told us they would do. The head guy on the job was Lupe who managed the other guys and knew exactly what needed to be done and he was extremely accommodating. They had to break the old concrete on the sidewalk by hand. It was a extremely hot day and a tough job, but they did it with professionalism and no complaining. I had some expensive brushes they had to work around and again they did everything without hurting or damaging any of our plants. They took the old sidewalk and driveway out in the morning, formed the new driveway and sidewalk during lunch and poured concrete that afternoon. Amazing they got a sidewalk and driveway installed all in one day! The look of the new driveway is excellent, every detail incredibly done.

I highly recommend Mike and his wonderful team at Carolina Masonry and Concrete. Mike is fair, honest and very responsive. You won’t be disappointed!

Steve was excellent he kept me informed each step and let me know if there was any delay at all even if he was running a little bit late to meet up with me. His crew does excellent work. Kudos to Carolina Masonry and Concrete, Steve Pierce and their crew. They took customer service to a new level with their efforts on our patio project. The end result was everything we had envisioned before we started. The one word to describe our experience working with this group would be integrity.

Steve has been excellent so far. Even though our job is really small, he has been very helpful helping me decide what we want to do with our backyard. He is using his valuable time to go above and beyond despite the fact that what we are looking for isn't even something his company traditionally does. We have less than 500 Sq Ft of work and yet he is still taking his time to help even though there is little upside for him. This is an example of an exceptional business out there to do the right thing!

I've been through my fair share of construction projects in the past and have often been disappointed by the lack of communication and customer service (at other companies). Happily, I had a very different experience with Steve at Carolina Masonry! Steve called me back just hours after I submitted my inquiry, and then spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me (30+ minutes?) hearing about my vision for the project. Steve understood the issues I was having with my garden wall, and brainstormed a few solutions for fixing it. He was kind, patient, informative and willing to help. I also appreciated that Steve offered several different appointment times (not big windows of time or vague promises to call me back) and then we agreed on one where he could come look at the job site. Very professional and easy to work with (why aren't all contractors this way???).

I am so glad I connected with Steve and look forward to calling him again next year, when we hope to build a patio!

From our very first phone call, working with Carolina Masonry’s Steve Peirce was a refreshing and rewarding experience. I’m talking about a man who knows his craft, knows his crew, and tells it to you straight.
We decided to do a large, modern paver patio, pergola, and a fire pit with sitting wall outfitted with lights. Budgets were reasonable and never an uncomfortable subject. Steve answered or returned every text, phone call, or email within an hour or two, even calling to make sure we were happy with the finished project WHILE HE WAS ON VACATION! We had tried to work with four other companies in the Charlotte area and had been ghosted by every. Single. One.

I will recommend this company to every friend, neighbor, or random stranger on Facebook ☺️ You won’t be disappointed with the quote process, communication, pricing, quality or the hours spent enjoying your new space.

*also, we found a dent and some rust on our fire pit insert AFTER the final walk through. Steve immediately got on the phone, found a replacement, and installed it for us that week. So nice to know that the company will be around in case of any future issue!

I cannot begin to tell you what an amazing experience that we've had with them so far. In 3 years we have contacted multiple companies in the CLT area to help us with our backyard renovation project, and we never felt comfortable with design, expertise or value pricing. Then we met with Steve Peirce, who has gone above and beyond to understand our vision, riff design ideas with us, rearrange his schedule to accommodate ours, and to ultimately provide us with a design that checks every box and, within our budget! We had a very good experience with the company. Steve was quick to respond to our needs any time we needed to talk. Issues with the city put our project on delay but as soon as it was cleared to go they worked us into their schedule quickly. The job was completed quickly and looks great! Carolina Masonry and Concrete just finished replacing my driveway. I'm shocked (in a good way!) to have found a company that still returns calls/emails promptly, keeps the customer informed of job progress, does what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it, takes pride in doing quality work, takes as much time as needed to answer the customer's questions, and still has competitive prices. Steve Pierce was not only an excellent representative of the company he guided us through every step from beginning to end of our project with transparency and assurance. The entire team on the ground was professional and diligent, specifically Kraig. Our project was extremely close to our pool and they always did an excellent job not to get any concrete or debris into the pool and always cleaned up after themselves. My family and I highly recommend Carolina Masonry and will be using them again for future projects.
