Beautiful place, great customer service! Excellent selection

Very overpriced for undergown plants. Buy a 5 gallon and get maybe a 3 gallon plant if that. No root system and soil just falls away when unpotted. The plants I bought should have grown for at least another season before being sold as the size at which they were priced. I shouldn't have bought them but I needed them. They got my money, what should they care? There are hundreds of other suckers right behind me.

Jeff is extremely helpful and a pleasure to speak with! He helped me with some pesticides and fertilizer for my rose bushes, explained how to use it and the benefits. I am so appreciative of the advice and will be returning to Pike for all my gardening needs.

I went to Pike Nurseries for the first time today and had the best experience. Their selection is amazing and the plants all look healthy. I’m a garden novice and the sweetest associate took the time to help me pick plants for 3 planters.

Lots of variety and super friendly, helpful employees. Daniel especially helped us get everything loaded up and set in our car.

Addy at Matthews Pikes Nursery was exceptional with customer service. Please give her high praise!

The selection is amazing. I just wish the prices were a little less so I could buy more.

I purchased 2 sun combinations from here and 3 from Lowe's. I went to Pikes to see if their plants were better than lowes. They are not! The 2 combinations I bought from Pikes barely lasted 2 weeks while the lowes combinations lasted over a month and are still alive. The service was sub par as there were plenty of workers but Noone asks if you need help. This is not a nursery I would buy from in the future.

They have public restrooms with handicap stalls but unfortunately are using the hallway for storage. Difficult maybe impossible for wheelchair to navigate. Not good

Wanted to add some plants for my apartment, so because of past reviews decided to check out Pike Nurseries in Mathews. About a 30 minute drive. I would have driven twice that to shop at this nursery! From the minute I walked in I knew it was a great choice!
Place is amazing and is actually larger than I thought it was. It looked like it had everything you might need for plants, and planting! Even a good selection of bird feeders.
All personnel greeted me with a smile and a hi! Got in touch with Gillian in the house plants section & once again great choice! She knew everything about plants there was to, and helped me out immensely for I’m a first grader when it comes to plants. 😂
Will use Pike for all my planting needs, even though of drive!

Great selection, organized well, and helpful staff. Priced a little high on some items and in line on others, but this is truly the most joyful place to find the plants I'm looking for. Need help? Just stop and ask!

They sell invasive species like Japanese privet and English Ivy. These plants spread aggressively and harm local plants and/or wildlife. To be fair, they also sell one or two native species, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one.

OPEN! Fully stocked! This is a well stocked nursery. Their flowers, plants, and trees are first rate. We buy our Christmas trees there. They have a large selection.

This is the second Pike location that I’ve been to, and their selection of houseplants is probably the best I’ve seen so far. They had a ton of different plants that I’ve not seen at any other plant nursery in Charlotte yet, and I’ve been to most of them. Their prices are also more reasonable than other nurseries in Charlotte. If you are a houseplant lover, check this place out!

Pike's Nurseries - Matthews has a beautiful assortment of flowers, plants, trees, & pottery. I love this place! I was welcomed as soon as I walked through the door and asked by several members of the staff if I needed assistance. I had such an enjoyable visit and purchased a slat of English Ivy.
