The Plant Guys were one of the best companies we ever worked with. We were so impressed with how they transferred our requests along with using their creative talents to generate a beautiful landscaping plan. The results were spectacular winning us the honor of “Yard of the Month” in our neighborhood. All of the staff were always on time, diligent, hard working and meticulous. The professionalism and patience of the staff (especially Nick) would be a number one reason to choose The Plant Guys as your landscaping company.

I used the Plant Guys to address some drainage issues and to remove some trees that weren't doing well and leaning into the yard. The Plant Guys immediately saw that the trees were not right for the location and recommended replacements. The team was hardworking, prompt and professional. The price was reasonable for the work involved. I can recommend them and will use them again.

Our side yard is very steep leading to severe drainage issues. I reached out to Nick and the team given their positive reviews and am glad I did. The team did a great job.

My wife and I have worked Really hard to buy the house that we have and it’s basically our “baby.” It kills me when we hire people to help fix the house and they’re careless with it. Not The Plant Guys. They treated the property as if it was their own. I can’t emphasize how much I appreciate that!

UPDATE - This team is now helping me at our new house in the S. Charlotte area. I got to know Jessie and his team today. Great communication, pleasant, professional and respectful. We had a brief delay in starting on the day of install, but they were very flexible and provided plenty of heads up.

I've been working with TPG for 5 years now and have come to rely up on them for everything from: annual mulch work, individual planting projects, and just this past weekend a total refresh from the drab overgrown bushes in the front landscape area around the house.

I recommend Nick, crew lead James and their teams including Oliver & Angelie to anyone. Their work is spot on, pricing fair and transparent, but hands down their communication and responsiveness is what I really appreciate about them. Their teams operate with respect for the property, clean up after themselves, and genuinely care about their work and exude professionalism.

Did I mention they proactively check up on their work and guarantee new plants for up to a year after the project?

We had a great experience working with Jeff from the Plant Guys. He coordinated w/ Heart & Hammer to completely revamp our property. The process of working with the Plant Guys was super easy compared to other landscaping companies we looked at; Jeff came for a free consultation and talked through a design with us on the spot. His team completed the job (front and back yard) in less than two days, and were timely, clean, and precise in their work. We highly recommend working with Jeff and his team.

We had a wonderful experience with The Plant Guys! Justin, Nick and John were fantastic to work with, listened to all our requests, answered our questions and were kind and polite.

The team did some trimming and replanting updating our front beds for the fall. This is the third time we've worked with The Plant Guys and we'll continue to utilize their services in the future.

We've been so happy with the professionalism, integrity and work from the plant guys. We had yard drainage issues due to our sloped backyard. The plants guys installed a French drain and dry creek in our yard as well as built up some areas that had eroded. They did an incredible job and came in with loads more trucks of rocks when it wasn't enough. Almost a year later we have grass growing around it and it's held up so we'll diverting the water away from our home.
The plant guys recently installed a better drainage system by our garage. The dumping rains we get in Charlotte cause water to go down our yard into the driveway and into our garage. Our garage is dry and look at all that water on the other side of the drain. Water is flowing through beautifully to the front of our home.
We're excited for the plant guys to do another phase to our yard drainage soon installing another French drain by our driveway which connects to the dry creek.

If you need help with yard drainage these are your people!! They do excellent work!

Devin did a great job removing an old tree and planting a new 25-gallon tree. The job site was left clean, removal area of old tree was left flat and ready to plant new grass in spring. At end of project, Devon went over the watering steps needed to keep tree healthy. Would definitely contact The Plant Guys again for landscape / hardscape needs.

I've used The Plant Guys a couple of times and have always been happy with their communication and service. This time I had them do general pruning/cleanup/fertilizing in my yard. Efficient and nice to work with.

Very professional and knowledgeable about landscaping. Reliable. They clearly value good customer service. The Plant Guys planted a tree in my front yard about 4 years ago. I contacted them yesterday about my disappointment in the tree. It hadn’t grown much at all and was looking very sad. They agreed with my assessment and offered to remove the tree and replace it with another tree of my choice at no cost to me! I was shocked at their extremely generous offer! I’ll definitely have The Plant Guys back when I decide to landscape my back yard. They are the best!

Nick from Plant Guys did a thorough evaluation of our backyard landscape needs and offered a comprehensive quote and landscape design to fit our budget and make the blank area look good again. The installation crew were very nice and professional. They did a great job of prepping the space and getting the soil ready and expertly planting each plant and adding the proper fertilizer for the season. It has been about 6+ weeks and the plants are thriving. Nick always responds to my emails in a timely manner with solid answers and good advice. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The Plant Guys, in my experience, had high expectations that I didn't meet. Originally, the installation process was smooth. I reached out about two months later, in October, because two of my trees were dying. They didn't offer to come out to see the trees in person (this will become an issue later on, don't worry) They were responsive and very determined that watering was the issue. After that, I followed the watering guide, but both of the trees died in December.

I wanted to be positive that watering was the problem. So, I consulted an independent arborist, Bartlett Trees, who said the issue was the installation. From there, I emailed The Plant Guys again because I have a year's warranty (it had been 7 months at this point). The owner responded, 100% convinced that my "trees appeared thirsty." He was upset that I used Bartlett Trees to check it out. Although I shouldn't have to explain myself, I called Bartlett for a separate issue (different trees were having deer issues). During the visit, I thought, "Why not have them check out my other ones too?" But, Nick, the owner of The Plant Guys said I should've asked them to come out in October, when I originally contacted them. I didn't know this was an expectation. He also said that watering was still the issue and it lacked the warranty requirements. Therefore, the only thing he could do is discount the price to replace the trees.

Throughout this whole process, they didn't ask to see the trees in person, which wasn't an issue, but I didn't appreciate being shamed for asking another arborist. It seemed like a low blow. The Plant Guys lacked humility and accountability with their emails and responses. I hope in the future, they would be more professional and give customers a chance to be heard.

We are very pleased with the work that Jeff, Jackson and Jenson did for us. They removed some really old azaleas are planted new shrubs and mulched. Super easy to work with. Really nice guys too.

Jeff and AJ were great. Both listened to my concerns regarding the Crepe Myrtle and how much it needed to be pruned. It is beautifully shaped now ( no crepe murder) and away from the roof , gutters and neighbor’s house.

Nick and The Plant Guys created and executed a 1st Class landscape design for our townhouse, including a 65' retaining wall and bordered foundation plant beds, complete with deer-resistant plants, a drainage system, an irrigation system and a paver area for our trash & recycling with a sloped section for easy access. We are 100% pleased with the design, the hardscape, and the plant selection and installation. Nick (the owner) was personally involved in our project from start to finish, and Scott & Jackson (the project supervisors) did much of the work themselves. Their work ethic and the pride that they take in producing a quality project was evident everyday on the job. We found all of The Plant Guys to be communicative, responsive, and willing & able to address every challenge that our project presented. Very highly recommended!

I began using Maid Brigade of Charlotte over 5 years ago when I moved. I hired them to perform a move out cleaning for my prior residence. I was so impressed I hired them to also clean my new place right away. I knew then I could never keep my house as spotless as they would. Their attention to detail is so impressive. I've used them for standard/routine cleaning ever since. My customer service rep, Matt, is extremely personable and accommodating to whatever my changing needs might be related to scheduling and/or cleaning requests. He never fails to ask how I'm doing and/or how my pets are doing. The maids are very friendly, trustworthy and are very attentive and sweet to my pets as well. They're conscious of opening/closing doors, etc. They are mindful of the pet hair on my sofas, chairs and other services and pay special attention to those areas (per my request). I just love the feeling of a freshly cleaned house and all the special touches (toilet paper rosettes) throughout my home when they are finished. After over 5 years of consistently great service, I can write this review fully knowing I'm recommending a great company with great people.
