Over the summer of 2024, we hired Gonzalez Home Repair to renovate our 1979 ranch-style home. Their team tackled our project list with efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail. We received a detailed quote so we knew what we were getting into from the start. When unexpected things arose, like a water issue found after removing the carpet, we were contacted and given a price for the additional work explaining why it had to be done before it was started.

They removed the original carpet, padding, and carpet tack from the whole house. Then, they installed luxury vinyl planks, quarter-round and painted baseboards and chair rails.

Gonzalez Home Repair addressed other issues including:
- Fixed and repainted back deck steps, railings, and deck floor
- Repaired flashing on the exterior chimney
- Waterproofed crawlspace entry
- Repainted living room ceiling
- Removed original bi-fold closet doors and replaced them with solid wood bypass doors
- Enhanced subflooring in the kitchen, and installed flooring transitions between rooms

The team also helped us move furniture and treated our house and possessions with care. Everyone showed up on time every day. If we had any questions all we had to do was call them and someone would promptly return our call. We never felt like we had to chase anyone down.

Post-renovation, the team returned to address minor issues, proving their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Freddie and his team were awesome. We hired them to: fix hole in ceiling and paint ceiling and family room. Install new light fixture, fix a wiring problem with another track light, mount a tv bracket and tv and install a new kitchen faucet. Freddie was always quick to respond. Ricky, Luiz and Maria and the rest of the team were excellent. Very respectful and nice. I would definitely hire them again!

Gonzalez Home Repairs LLC did a fantastic job with the complete renovation of my childhood home which wasn't treated very well throughout the years. I cannot recommend this group enough, they communicated at every turn during the project. Estimate was within a fair margin of the final price, which was fair and beat other quotes I got. Gonzalez Home Repairs did an excellent job on my bathroom repair/renovation. We had mold in one spot in our subfloor, which had to be cut out, and subfloor reinstalled in that area. We also had tile installed after the repair was done.

From the detailed itemized estimate, to the professionalism and care given during the entire process, we are completely satisfied!
