GC is not regularly on job site to monitor workmanship quality as it progresses. I personally had to monitor and request workmen to tape 'all' house wrap seams and install stater strips multiple times. Downplays workmanship items.
No toilet provision provided for workman for 3 day job.
Expensive for amount of materials consumed and 70ish man-hours of work.

So we waited for several years and evaluated multiple siding providers. We wanted a fairly rare siding (smart siding) as we wanted a really durable and attractive solution. O.C.Taylor provided a very skilled, knowledgeable, and personable team. The work was well done, the timing was very quick, the disruption to our daily life for the time it took to remove the old siding and replace the new siding was minimal.

Brent and his crew did a full remove and replace of our 25 year old Hardi siding with the pre-painted LP Smartsiding and we couldn’t be happier. We had the soffit and fascia replaced and new gutters and gutter guards installed as well.
It was a big project that uncovered other “issues” during the demo like some rotted wood here and there and a couple window sills that needed to be replaced but his team was able to handle it all and the additional costs to the project were minimal, and fair.
The project was done on time, on budget and at a cost that was on par with a couple other vendors we spoke with, and less expensive than a couple of others. Overall, very happy.

Brent and OC Taylor accepted my project remedying my builders mistake replacing drip edges, & siding that were causing water intrusion. Brent and team listened intently to my requirements, was prompt with commitments in the end delivering a quality product with reasonable pricing. We are very happy with our replacement windows! They kept to schedule and to budget, wore masks for Covid safety, and left no trace other than our new windows. Communication was great; all my questions were answered clearly and quickly. Our home is already much more comfortable, and we’ll be calling on them again when we’re ready to do our next home improvements.

Brent and his team installed siding and windows on my home. His estimates were on point and even did work he wasn't contracted for at no additional cost (replaced banisters on front porch stairs). His crew was timely and professional. I have recommended him to others in my neighborhood and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for similar work.

While it is not my habit to write reviews, I made an exception with OC Taylor. We were thoroughly satisfied with the materials and quality of his work. He installed siding, a large window, and a new front door. We watched his crew and they worked hard and in coordination. Brent answered our question thoroughly and with attention to detail. He enthusiastically fulfilled our extra requests. Seemingly, he coordinated and solved supply chain problems and found sources with his experience and industry knowledge.

It has been a few months since he finished and we have not encountered anything that we would do differently.

Brent and his team did a great job replacing the siding on our house, as well as fixing issues the previous homeowner failed to address. We noticed a manufacturing defect in the siding halfway through one wall and his team replaced the material that day. Brent developed and communicated a thorough plan up front, and he gave regular progress updates through text message. This all helped to make dealing with the structural issues his team found during the work very easy to manage and fix. Additionally, the final product (LP Smartside) looks great a year and a half later, with no maintenance except for washing.

We had all new siding, windows, paint, and railing completed by OC Taylor. Brent and his team were fantastic and completed all work in a timely manner and the end result is beyond what we hoped for. Brent came by the job site every time his team was working to check on their work and to keep us updated on the progress. We would for sure use OC Taylor again and recommend others to do so as well.
