Today I was in a bind, I needed a win with this electrical problem that had been driving me crazy. After 7 calls saying it would be next Thursday before anyone could help I almost gave up. Then Andrew answered, he tried his best to help over the phone. When I couldn’t get it, he drove up 15 minutes later in route to another job. He fixed the problem, explained it to me, and rolled out in the same amount of time it took him to get there. Super nice guy that went out of his way to change the course of my day… Need anything, call Andrew at Terrace!!!!!

One of the biggest challenges to owning a home is finding tradesmen who will show up and do a great job. Some suggest that even a tradesman who will show up and do a mediocre job is a rare
find. When it comes to electrical work you'll be glad you won't have to compromise when you hire Terrace Electric. Andrew is an expert in his field. He speaks with knowledge and experience, and possesses the rare gift of style.

The only run in I had with Andrew is when I attempted to clean up the saw-dust that had accumulated on the carpet. "Hey man, you are not going to clean up after me, that's my job."
With that, I backed off and let Andrew finish what he started.

My observation is that Andrew displays the positive side of one with OCD, everything must be just right and that is something you want in an electrician. When asked, he was quick to share his thoughts on our ideas, reminding us of convenience, safety, and practicality in the final layout of our projects.
We found that his fees were reasonable, his timelines acceptable, and his finished project excellent.

I've never recommended a contractor before but it is with ease that I recommend Terrace Electric.

After showing off our latest electrical upgrades, an interior designer commented that simple electrical work can be the best return on your investment. We would agree but with one caveat. You need to hire the right tradesman.

We had a new stove delivered to our home and installed by the delivery
company. The installers informed us that there was something wrong with our
electrical circuit to the stove.

We called Andrew from Terrace Electric who answered the phone and made an
appointment with us to trouble shoot the problem.

On the same day, Andrew came to my home and quickly diagnosed the problem
and fixed it on the spot.
Terrace Electric was timely, professional, and fairly priced. We would use
Terrace Electric again and recommend their services.

Andrew at Terrace Electric is an extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable electrician and comes highly recommended from me. He explained what we needed at the house and supplied the reasons in a way I could understand (ex. pond build, different outlet & additional breaker). He quoted a fair price for the work, completed the work timely and charged exactly what he said he would.
There was some trench work involved and suggested some extra conduit for a future hot tub I may want to put in so I would not need to trench again...great idea.
He put me at ease while the work was being completed and quality of work was second to none. The integrity and work ethic he brought to the job was greatly appreciated

So the wife wanted an outlet in the closet, and I consider myself a DIYer. I tried to create a new outlet, didn’t workout so I flipped the current one. All of my wiring was in the right place but I turned the breaker and had no power in the master. Andrew came in like an electrical angel. He knew exactly what was wrong and told me exactly what to do. It worked like a charm. I can’t thank him enough! He really knows his stuff and if you need ANYTHING electrical, he’s your guy! Would not hire. Apparently the owner not only thinks it's ok to run people off the road but to then give them the finger because they beeped their horn at him as he merged his vehicle and trailer into their lane, with them fully along side him, forcing them off the road. Extremely unprofessional and not the sort of people I want to work with.

Edit: To clarify his vehicle was ahead of me, his trailer was beside me and I had to vear right and hit the breaks to avoid being hit by him because he realized he was in the wrong lane and swerved over at the last second without looking. Then he wants to argue with people and claim to be the victim. Absolutely confirms he is not the kind of person to trust or work with.

I don't normally go out of my way to write reviews but when you find quality, you have to give them acknowledgement (his work speaks for itself).

Andrew Rubin is an exceptional electrician and a top-notch guy. You 100% will not regret calling him for his superlative services.

Andy is fantastic. He was willing to work within my budget and was willing to do whatever was necessary to gain my trust and my business. He is very straight forward and will not beat around the bush (which I appreciate being from Long Island). He’s extremely professional and would recommend him to anyone having any sort of electrical issues in and around their home

The electrician (Andrew) that came to fix our problem at the house was courteous, knowledgeable and very kind. He even took time to fix a problem that wasn't electrical for us and when we realized our problem was a simple as a switch not turned on, he declined to charge us more than just the service charge. We were impressed with his integrity and professionalism and would definitely use this companies service again.

We’ve had excellent experiences working with Andrew on several jobs over the years. We last had him replace three fans in our house. Great job, fast service, and good price. I’m contacting him again today for another job!

Andrew first tried to save us money by giving us some advice to try to fix on our own. We were in over our heads and ended up needing his services.
Andrew and Joe were both great! They were able to make it out the next day and figure out our issue. They work fast and well! Will be using them again!

We had Terrace Electric repair an attic fan that wasn't working. The guys worked diligently and efficiently and got the new fan motor and blade installed in no time. They also moved the fan thermostat to a more convenient location for me. After that, they installed 10 "smart" light switches and knocked that work out quickly as well. The guys were friendly and professional at all times and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Andrew was very informative of the whole process. He was detail oriented which was great for us. Neat and clean. The results were just as he explained to us, from start to finish. We were happy with the results. He was on time. Didn’t leave me guessing if he was going to show up, which is important to me. Nowadays contractors say they will show up and don’t, I was impressed. Andrew and his crew did an fantastic job. My family had an electrical outside breaker spark fire and Andrew was immediately on it from beginning to end and for them to still come and endure the NC weather of it being cold, raining, snowing, etc on a Friday morning and completed the whole task was amazing. These guys done above and beyond there job and seriously they need a tremendous raise for ensuring that type of weather to ensure customers are taken great care of

Terrace Electric are wonderful to work with - personable and professional, they arrive when they say they will, communicate everything very well, priced fairly and are very knowledgeable. Andrew and Joe installed indoor/outdoors lights, outlets/switches and power panel for a new built garage/workshop. The power panel had to come from the house which is very old. So some challenges came up but they were creative and persistent to find a solution. The result was beautiful lighting and safe wiring we will never have to worry about! Future projects we have planned will definitely include Terrace Electric, LLC.

Andrew did a great job of working me into his schedule on short notice. He showed up promptly. He is also very professional, creative in coming up with outside the box solutions to the electrical issues I had. I would recommend Terrace Electric and use them again!

We called Terrace Electric to install a breaker (as well as other upgrades) for some new appliances. Andrew responded quickly, providing a cost and time estimate by email within a short period of time. Lucky for us, he was able to fit us into his schedule a day ahead of time. Because he used less cable footage than originally estimated, he reduced the final cost. Being fairly clueless about all things electrical, we appreciated his honesty and work ethic!

Andrew is very experienced and a real professional. He knows what he is doing, his job is precise and of very high quality. Worth mentioning he is also very nice and charismatic person :) Andrew helped to solve several wiring issues at our house (one of the issues was a bit tricky - our "flickering' door bell :)) His job is very reasonably priced btw.
