We have worked with Dennis for years. He and his team are always prompt, good with keeping us up with what is going on and they clean up before they leave. When you have an urgent problem, as we had last week, they give the highest possible priority to getting your power up and running and safe. We never hesitate to call Clear Light when we need an electrician.

Dennis and his crew helped us execute on our vision for our study renovation. We had an outlet that was on a switch converted to a 3-way dimmer switch that operated new sconces that they also installed, some low voltage lines moved, a new floor outlet installed, and a new GFCI installed in the crawl space. Dennis was easy to communicate with and flexible with scheduling as we had to coordinate their work with other contractors. Felt the price we paid for the work that was done was very fair. Will definitely be calling Clear Light up for future work.

I've worked with Clear Light on several commercial and residential projects over the years. I recently had them install an EV charger which required running wire from one side of the building to the other through various walls. They did a great job with very minimal impact. Clear Light is a reliable and reasonable local business. Highly recommend.

When you need an electrician, Express Electrical Service is a terrific company. We called them on Friday, and they came on Saturday, did all the work we needed in about half the time we expected, and did it right. We had called three "24/7" electricians before we found this company--all the others said, often rudely, as though we were asking the impossible, that they couldn't come until the following week. Our experience with Express was the opposite: Lisa, the woman who answered the phone, was courteous and efficient, and Jake, the electrician who did the work on Saturday, was outstanding.

The service I received was phenomenal! I got a Ring Floodlight camera as a gift but the nearest existing floodlight I could use to replace with the Ring camera was nearly 25ft up near the roof of my home. At that height the camera wouldn't be useful at capturing motion in my immediate back yard.

Trey (the EES electrician) took the time to survey the situation and formulated a solution that would lower the camera to a more optimal position. He managed to wire and place a floodlight camera on a part of the house that had no existing wiring in place to connect to. Not only that, he made the effort to make the the light look as though it was part of the structure of the house rather than letting cables dangle or run from the light mount. Trey did a great job and went above and beyond for no extra charge.

Most minor electrical jobs I feel confident in doing myself but I can promise that for anything major Express Electrical has proven twice to me that they will be my go-to electricians for the job.

I recently had an EV charger installed by Brad Jones from Express Electrical Services, and I couldn't be happier with the service received. Brad was not only fast in completing the installation but also meticulous in ensuring everything was clean and tidy afterward. Communication was top-notch throughout the entire process, making the experience seamless and stress-free. It's rare to come across professionals who truly stand by the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. Brad and Express Electrical Services definitely do. I highly recommend them for their outstanding service and professionalism. 5 stars all the way!

Brady Murphy was on time and did a great job diagnosing and fixing our electrical issue. He was thorough and clearly explained what he was doing at each step for me.

Great experience with Express at my Raleigh property. They came out the SAME DAY to do a light fixture installation. The electrician was friendly and polite, and the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

I got a quote from Express Electrical Service in May of 2021 for a hot tub installation. While prices went up since then, they still gave me a very fair price for installing the hot tub in February of 2022. Despite the scope of the work changing from what was originally estimated, due to technicalities in the national electric code regarding things like line of sight visibility of the hot tub sub panel and minimum distance, they spent hours to work with me on finding a solution to get it installed. Everyone I have interacted with has been polite and professional, and despite allegedly losing money on the job (which I believe, based on the hours worked alone), they worked to make the situation right and get their work to pass inspection (it failed the first time due to conduit not being buried deep enough - 18" of depth above the top of the conduit is required). Seeing how they handle issues when things go wrong really says something about how a company operates, and based on this, I'd hire them for future work.

Update (11/15/25):
NC Express Services continues to amaze. I recently completed a substantial 2.5-day HVAC/IAQ upgrade that included several hours of associated electrical work. I called NC Express on Thursday and spoke with the always-helpful Lisa. By Friday morning, Brady arrived to scope out the electrical portion and determined it could be completed the same day. It came as no surprise that the NC Express team completed the work with the same exceptional quality and attention to detail as always. I am so grateful to be able to call upon this exemplary company. Outstanding! Highly recommend!

For me, one of the essentials of home ownership is finding honest, knowledgeable and skilled technicians who will take care of the small stuff before it becomes big stuff and also be there for you on bigger projects (or to deal with big stuff when it does happen). I am so grateful to have found just such a company in NC Express Services LLC and, particularly, just such a technician in Brady. NC Express Services has now completed two projects for me; I am absolutely delighted with the approach and the results. NC Express Services is now my go-to company for electrical and related services.

Jake (electrician) was able to install my wall charger the same day he quoted it, and did excellent work. He made sure everything was done to standards without cutting corners (including torquing screws, something I’ve had other electricians skip). Very fair pricing, no hassle experience.

Gordon Pritts was the BEST. He worked so hard, was very professional & kept me well informed on all my questions. Would highly recommend his services.

I can’t say enough great things about Judah. His demeanor was extremely professional. His communication during the job was excellent. He worked quickly and efficiently while being friendly and keeping his work area clean. 11 out of 10!!!!!

They were quick and efficient. They also noticed that our dimmer was installed upside-down and quickly fixed it without us asking. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Gordon is excellent. He knows our house up and down and is very easy to work with and gets the job done completely. Gordon is the only one we call for when we have electrical problems in our home.

Gordon came out to replace my 400A service and did an excellent job. He listened to my concerns about upcoming electrical changes and did a load evaluation on the house to make sure our existing panels would be able to handle the existing and new loads. Gordon was a super personable guy and the work was of great quality. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for other work in the future!
