We had a great experience with the Molina Team. They were easy to communicate with, set clear expectations, and did a great job with the removal! We knew the rose bush around our tree would be impacted but they did an awesome job keeping most of it in tact. The crew was friendly and efficient. We would recommend them for your tree and stump removal!

There are a lot of tree service companies, it’s hard to know who to contact and who to trust. Not only that, quotes can vary a lot. For me, a word of mouth referral led us to Molina’s Tree Service, we took other quotes as well. Molina’s was the best quote from a price standpoint and we went with them. They did a superb job, quickly, safely and cleaned up afterwards. They did exactly what they said they would do and so I am happy to refer them to others (already have) and happy to do business with them again! We had six medium-sized sweet gum trees removed. Talk about teamwork, they each had their own job and which they performed flawlessly. Was quite an event to watch! They even included grinding the stumps, hard to believe how much mulch can come from a ground stump! Thanks to the whole team including Logan and Jorge, they made the process look easy and are much appreciated!

I had an outstanding experience with Molina’s Tree Service! They responded quickly to my email request for a quote and came out the very next day. Luis, the owner, called me personally to explain what needed to be done, and the quote was very reasonable.
They were able to start just two days later. The crew was personable, efficient, and clearly prioritized safety. They took down ten trees—including stump grinding—in less than four hours. Luis stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process, which gave me great peace of mind.
If you're in the Upstate of SC and need tree services, I highly recommend calling Luis and his team. Professional, fast, and reliable! -
It is with SO much enthusiasm that I post this review. My family called 5 different companies, and received quotes from 4 of the 5, for a significant land clearing project behind our home. We had: uneven terrain, difficult access (part of our fence had to be taken down in order to access), about 15 trees of different sizes that needed to come down (one hit by lightning, several dead, others blocking an area we wanted to open up), and tons of broken logs and dead trees that had fallen over time. One of the companies took an extremely long time to do anything (from coming out to see the property to giving us a quote), another couldn't get us on their schedule until 4 months from now. Ultimately we had two viable options, and we decided on Molina's because of their excellent review history. They were quick to get us a quote for the project, respond to text and email questions before we began, and quick to get us on the schedule. They arrived prompt, professional, and to our absolute delight were able to complete our entire project in one day. We'd also gotten a survey done before they began, but asked if they would please try to take care to leave the markers in place (because our next step will be to fence the area and we didn't want to pay for a second survey). Despite all the enormous equipment going in and out that day, and all of the people on the crew, our survey markers remained untouched. They were also very careful now to destroy our yard, putting down mats for their equipment and ultimately putting our fence back up just as it was after completing the project. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again a thousand times over. Thank you to the entire team!

Molina’s Tree Service & Landscaping LLC is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the entire tree removal process was professional, friendly, and efficient.
When I first called, Michelle answered the phone and was so helpful. She was able to get me on the calender pretty quick, but Logan called me the very next day offered to come out to my home in Clayton, NC even quicker than I expected. He was professional, explained everything in detail, and walked me through what to expect with and without a crane. He also explained how they would protect my property, giving me peace of mind. Later that day, Michelle followed up with the official quote and provided me with a certificate of insurance. They were able to get me on the calendar just a few days out.
On job day, the crew arrived early for an 8:00 AM appointment and got to work right away. Oscar, the foreman, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly excellent at what he does. The crew worked together seamlessly. It was impressive to see how orchestrated the process was. Safety and care for my home and property were obviously top priorities.
They removed several large trees from my yard, most of them very close to the house. This tree removal required heavy equipment and a skilled crew, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They also completed stump grinding for several of the trees and were very thorough, making sure no large roots were left that could cause problems later. They cleaned up after themselves, leaving NO debris or cleanup for me.
I would 100% hire them again and would be very comfortable referring them to friends, neighbors, and clients. If you need professional tree removal, stump grinding, or any type of tree service, I highly recommend Molina’s. They deliver fair prices, top-notch workmanship, and respectful employees—everything you could ask for in a five-star company! -
Molina’s did a great job removing four oak trees from my front yard. Logan came out a few days before and provided a very reasonable quote. They also removed two large piles of brush that I had to get rid of. The crew was very friendly, professional, and showed up on time ready to work. It was fun to watch the trees being removed and they did so carefully while also cleaning up thoroughly afterwards! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Update: Bumping this to 5 stars. Logan called me this morning and made it right. He took ownership, explained why the original crew had to set up on my lawn (it was a smaller/ lighter crane), and apologized for the miscommunication about the stump. Then he had the office reimburse me for part of the cost. Appreciate the communication and integrity. That’s hard to come by today.

I had a mixed experience with Molinas. I needed to remove a huge pine tree that was 5ft in front of my new house. I contacted Molinas and Logan came out right away. He gave me a very reasonable price and we scheduled the job. They also quickly provided proof on insurance at request.
Due to weather, we had to reschedule several times. The first crew that came out parked the crane on my front lawn, which I wasn't happy about. Luckily, we ended up needed to reschedule. The second crew parked on the street--which made me wonder why the first crew tried to park a huge crane on my lawn and ruin my grass--and removed the tree without any issues. That's where the work stopped being great.
I paid for them grind the stump and I they only ground the surface. When my lawn guy came to fill in the hole, there was still a huge tree trunk to grind. Logan sent someone back out, but it still wasn't fully ground. I ended up having to pay $300 for another company to properly grind the stump, in addition to the money I paid Molinas. So, if you only need tree removal and/or pruning, they're great. But if you need a stump ground, double check their work before paying them. -
I had an incredibly awesome experience with Molina's Tree Service. They promptly and courteously responded to my request for an estimate and worked with my budget to cut 9 large pine trees on my property, plus stump grind 14 existing stumps from the side of my house. Logan and his crew were very professional and did a great job cleaning up after the work. I was so impressed with their technical expertise with the crane too! In fact, my neighbor commented how amazed he was to see the large crane and the guys cut and limb them and pull up the trees and safely and quickly get the work done.
These guys are awesome and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for any tree service. -
I absolutely love this company! They've done a good bit of work at our house over the past two years, including removing dead limbs from some 80+ year old pines, fertilizing shrubs, pruning out limbs that are too high to reach, and removing an unhealthy tree.
I honestly can't speak to the affordability compared to other tree services because I was so impressed with their customer service in the first quote I received that I didn't look anywhere else. One of the arborists spent a good hour walking around my property with me, since we'd just bought the place. He was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot by picking his brain. I email him occasionally with questions and he responds promptly, even though there's usually not any money to be made in his answers.
The crews always arrive on time, and usually early. The administrative coordination from the office is excellent, so I always know what to expect. The crews take safety seriously and wear proper head and hearing protection. They're courteous and professional. The work that I ask for gets done properly and with amazing speed. They clean up after themselves. I've NEVER had any collateral damage to my other plants from work that they're doing, even when removing an entire tree that had saplings and shrubs underneath.
I don't think you can find a better tree company in the Triangle. -
If you have trees that need attention, I highly recommend Leaf and Limb. When we moved into our house, there were eight Leyland Cypress trees on the lot. In less than a year, we had to cut down two and strong winds up rotted a third one. Leaf and Limb came, accessed those trees and two maples that we thought had issues. Their staff has very professional and grit, were punctual with visit to access and each of the three times they have treated the trees, clearly communicated what was needed, included a timeline of when work would be done, and quoted (not estimated) the price for treatment. Then we chose what we wanted them to do from the list of recommendations. After one year, the cypress trees are definitely healthier, and the maple is progressing.

Yesterday, 8/27, Charlie and his team (Craig, Cody and Chris) did an outstanding job. They took down 3 trees while carefully protecting our fragile and dense landscaping.
Clean up was meticulous and Charlie was very accommodating with leaving fireplace sized rounds for me and my neighbor. The team answered all questions asked and were a delight to deal with.
This is the third time we have used Leaf & Limb...it won't be the last. I highly recommend this excellent company. -
From start to finish, my experience with Leaf & Limb was excellent. I had four dead gum trees in my back yard, one of which was several stories higher than my house, threatening to come down with every storm. I got several removal quotes in the same price range but went with Leaf & Limb because of their thorough website, courteous office staff (Andrea), and straightforward onsite free estimate. The removal crew (Hunter, Bobby, Oscar) was polite, safe, extremely talented (we watched the climbing and cutting like it was a circus act) and much more thorough than I had anticipated. They took great care to protect my house and yard and cause the least disturbance possible. When they were done, they removed everything: shredding, loading, chipping and sweeping until the only evidence they were here was the clearly marked stumps for the grinder to get at a later date. The stump grinding guy (Mitchell, I think?) was just as polite and thorough. Both teams laid down plywood to protect my yard from their equipment. I finished up with a friendly, no-issues payment with Andrea and will definitely be going back to them if I ever need more work.

The crew from Leaf & Limb arrived at my home within the agreed upon time frame, removed a 75+ foot tree without incident, were respectful and cleaned up nicely.
In a nutshell ... they did a great job at a very reasonable price. I would recommend them and if need be call on their services again without hesitation. -
I chose Leaf & Limb primarily based on all of the good reviews online and their prices seem reasonable. Colin came out to do the estimate and was very personable, professional and is definitely someone I would feel comfortable doing future business with. The work was completed as agreed upon and the crew hardly left any sign that they had been on site that day. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of some confusion during the quotation process, and I was not contacted the evening before the job as promised. Neither of these is a huge deal, but were enough to knock the rating down just a bit. Overall I would definitely recommend Leaf & Limb to others and plan on using their services in the future.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I think a lot of tree businesses jump to cut something down because it’s the most expensive thing they can charge you for, but the leaf and limb folks are experts and will actually care for a tree to keep it healthy. Pricing is totally fair and they offered me a payment plan. Also they’re just really nice and cool. Thanks!

Kelly and his team did a great job removing several potemas, cut two large oak limbs over hanging my roof and several other items. They have a cohesive team, do great work at an affordable price. The cleanup is thorough as if they were never here. Without question, will use them exclusively in the future.

Being in contracting, I've dealt with many tree removal services on my projects, although this was the first time I ran into Leaf & Limb. When I needed a few trees removed at my house, I asked for pricing from a few of the tree removal companies I had previously worked with, and ended up calling Leaf & Limb just so I had one more price for comparison. They ended up having the best price, not terribly cheaper than the others, but very competitive. I ended up using them and, suffice it to say, I was very impressed with them. They were great with communication, especially in regards to scheduling issues. I will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have trees removed.

The guys that came to my house were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable in their expertise and the job they were about to undergo. They were very careful while removing trees that were over hanging my house as well as very close to my house. The post work clean up was amazing, it was almost like they were never here. During the work they gave me some great advise and information on the health of other trees in my yard, plating new trees, etc. The most attractive thing was the price. I had about 3 quotes and they beat the price by at least $1,000. If you are looking for tree removal service, I would highly recommend Leaf & Limb.

Easily some of the most down-to-earth, passionate, and well-researched people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. It's not often you find a group of people that seamlessly balance working up a sweat while taking every opportunity to provide a thorough explanation of their processes and provide educational experiences. I look forward to working with them over the years to keep our existing trees and any new additions happy and healthy for many years to come.

Thomas came to evaluate the trees in my yard and I am very impressed by his professionalism, thorough checking, and passion to maintain a healthy local ecosystem. He also sent a book published by the company on everything about landscaping, a very fun book.

I've never posted a review before the service I was receiving was completed, but in this case, I am making an exception, and will write a two part review. Leaf and Limb arrived to do a fairly significant amount of tree work. The crew they sent was fantastic. Leo took his time to explain everything that was going to be done, and explained the care they would put into the service they were going to provide. We had to make a few decisions about certain aspects of the service, and Leo laid out all of my options, and worked through them with me. He gave me a great sense of security through his professionalism. I know I will be equally happy with the end result. I am a Realtor and recommending Leaf and Limb to my clients will be a great service I can provide to them. I couldn't be happier with the way this project has started.
Okay, the job is done. From start to finish, Leaf & Limb far exceeded my expectations. Starting with the initial consultation with Kelly, to the job that was done today, I can't say enough good things about each person with whom I had contact, and the job they did. As a Realtor, I see the work of a lot of contractors, and I would put Leaf & Limb at the top of the list in terms of professionalism customer satisfaction, and being great to work with every step of the way. I will never waste my time calling any other tree company, whenever I need tree work to be done. Save yourself time and aggravation if you ever need tree work done at your home. Just call Leaf & Limb and be prepared to have them exceed all of your expectations.
