The consult was really helpful in identifying highly invasive species, non-natives, and where my native trees need trimming
Compost tea & soon to have them do a trim but I'm super happy with this company, especially compared to what I see from some of my neighbors' tree companies.
Free oak sapling was cherry on top

Excellent on-time service with 2 trucks & a team of 3! Tree Trimming was done, cut limbs into 1' pieces for chimenea & cleaned up! Overall, the price was right & the job done right.

Leaf & Limb has done tree work for us 5 times since 2019. They have always been on time, professional and neat. Also, amazing to watch their technique climbing and trimming!

I’ve been using Leaf & Limb for several years to care for and prune my beautiful trees. My trees are like family, so I’m picky about who cares for them. The crews have been so considerate and enthusiastic about their work. Always a good experience.

We have had two sick trees treated by Leaf and Limb using their “compost tea” and the results are stunning. No chemicals, just good bio “juice.”
Good folks to deal with too. Try ‘em. You’ll like ‘em!

I am very impressed with Leaf and Limb not only for the quality of the work that they do but also for their efforts to provide information for their clients. Great professional crews who will answer every question and make sure that all work is done right. We have been so happy with our evolving outside environment.

Two years ago I bought a home with 60-yr old boxwoods and nondescript yards. Leaf & Limb has provided exceptional consultation and service creating a beautiful native landscape with understory and a prairie. Butterflies and birds are thriving. I have worked with them in phases and their prices have been reasonable, especially given their exceptional service. Each team member has been professional and committed to their work.

We hired Leaf & Limb to prune our cherry tree: to thin out the branches and ensure clearance from our as well as our neighbor’s house. We are super happy with the result and the overall experience. The crew were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you, Leaf & Limb!

I would not recommend working with Leaf & Limb.

They change appointments multiple times. This makes it almost impossible for homeowners to anticipate their arrival and then to directly communicate with arborists on site. Homeowners are expected to be up, ready, and available (before 7 a.m.) just in case a crew shows--for multiple weeks.

(What is worse, their management openly acknowledges this to be a problem, but apparently, has done nothing about it, except to make an irreparable mistake in our case.)

We have previously worked with Leaf & Limb. L & L admitted to having documentation about how conservative we have been in the past with trimming our dogwood. We made a drawing. We gave explicit instructions. We had taken significant time.

Due to not following our instructions and not communicating on site or immediately before being on site, our dogwood has been irreparably changed in shape. Without permission, the Leaf & Limb crew cut a significant large limb and another important branch.

I cannot express how heartbroken I am that our beloved tree has been carelessly trimmed with complete disregard for our desires. Due to their poor communication, poor management, and lack of basic courtesy in providing services, I would not recommend working with Leaf & Limb.

My husband and I are very happy with the services provided by Leaf & Limb!

Everything went great from Dan first coming out and looking at the health/shape of our current trees/shrubs to the work being completed. My kids enjoyed watching the crew who came out to complete the work as well! My one daughter was very happy that there were a couple ladies haha I believe their names were Annie & Katie. I can't remember the guy's name but he was great as well. Everything looks much better after getting a good trim/pruning. My husband and I added in landscaping edging as well around the mulch beds they laid down. They prepped the mulch bed around our maple tree for some plants they will be adding next year to the bed. We also opted to do the compost tea they offer for the health of our trees/shrubs.

Looking forwards to working with Leaf & Limb for future planting services and general health/maintainence of our trees/shrubs. I highly recommend working with them!

I'm so delighted with the great work Leaf & Limb did getting native trees & shrubs selected, arranged & planted in my acre-plus yard! It was a huge job of over 150 plants in varying size pots, so there was a ton of ways that things could have gone wrong. I worked with treeologist Dan Greenberg. He chose great natives and cultivars of natives that will look great in my yard and also help rescue our endangered pollinators and wildlife.

Andrea was the crew leader for the actual planting which took several days. She was terrific to work with...so responsible, detail oriented, accurate, helpful to me with suggestions, and she kept me informed about everything that was happening. It also looked like she managed her crew very well (unlike some contractors I've had where "workers" sat around a lot on their phones.)

In the past I've worked with other landscapers who planted trees/shrubs for me, but I found them merely to be unskilled hole diggers. They didn't put all the care into giving my trees/shrubs a proper start like I saw Andrea and her team doing. Andrea's team was careful to open up all the roots around the rootball and dig appropriately wide holes that were the right depth so the trunks won't rot. They backfilled the holes with superfood compost and tamped the soil with a tool to make sure there was good root-to-soil contact. Then they mulched with a ring that wasn't the disastrous-for-trunk-rot mulch volcano that you notice so many less knowledgeable landscapers doing. There was even one tree that wasn't stable for some reason and they staked it 3 ways.

It seems to me that everyone at Leaf & Limb is very passionate and committed to saving our ailing planet with native trees/shrubs. They are careful to do what's best for every plant they touch. I'll never use a different landscaper again!

The team did an incredible job planting native Carolina Cherry Laurel shrubs at our home. The quality and care of their deliberate process was evident during the planting and their customer service post-planting has been equally great. Highly recommend.

Our neighbors large oak tree had 3 large limbs hanging over our sunroom and back yard, close to the sunroom. Several smaller limbs(5-6ft long) had already fallen in our yard very close to our large sunroom windows. Enter Carlos and Patrick from Leaf and Limb! Over a 2 day period these guys performed weight reduction on this tree and another one and removed many dead limbs. It was quite amazing watching them at work climbing with their ropes and safely removing large limbs and pieces of limbs without damage to our property! They did a great job! I’ve always been pleased with the tree pruning that Leaf and Limb has done for us and will continue to use them!

From start to finish, Leaf & Limb is great! They were respectful of our property, had great advice and even the flagging and placement of the trees was mindful. Seriously! Thomas brought out a tablet with a program that showed where the best light for the successful growth of a tree was going to be placed! We had 46 trees planted behind our house to provide a visual obstruction to the new high density build that went up behind our house. Thomas recommended trees that were native to the area and would have a higher chance of success. And not only he, but the crew chief doing the installation were informative with great advice for the care of our new trees. Even after the crew left, I received an email offering advice and followup if I had any more questions. These people are great!

The team at Leaf and Limb are excellent! We’ve had them out to check on the health of some of our trees and recently had them out to prune one of our large trees. Highly recommend!

Happy Friday! I have to tell you the tree looks absolutely amazing! We could not be happier. The quality of work provided was stellar and the crew went above and beyond.

The crew that came to our house, Patrick and Juan were so helpful, kept us informed and asked questions as needed. Their expertise, care, and cleaning up after the project was very professional. It was really cold that day so we truly appreciated them being here! They did a great job.

Overall, we were thrilled with Leaf and Limb starting with Dan Greenberg, the communication, scheduling and ending with the completed work.

Thank you again for your professionalism and expertise. We would definitely recommend Leaf and Limb to others.

I have used Lineberger’s many times for my tree needs and they are ALWAYS professional, courteous and efficient and this tine was no exception, and their pricing is fair. I would be at a loss if Brent ended his business.

We had a great experience with everyone we dealt with at this business, from the admin staff to the arborist who quoted to work to the crew that did the removal. On time, professional, and great results. We're very pleased and highly recommend.
