I highly recommend New Light Services! Joe runs a ‘top notch” customer orientated business. Their people are highly skilled, personable, and very responsive to the customers needs. On top of all that, their prices are fair and reasonable compared to others in the local market. I had a 5-star experience!

We had Paul come to the house today to repair some pipes and an errant toilet. He was spectacular. He very quickly assessed the problems, saw what needed to be done, and then leaped on the problem.

He was efficient, thorough, cleaned up and did one heck of a great job.

I could not ask for better! I would recommend Paul to anyone.

Polite and courteous, both on the phone and in person. Had the pleasure of dealing with Tim at my home for a stubborn drain that a plunger and 3 gallons of draino couldn't resolve. Tim had it fixed within an hour and went above and beyond in checking on other things as he diagnosed the main problem I had reported. I would definitely do business with New Light Services again.

They were very responsive and did great work. Everyone I interactive with nice people.

I never write reviews but these guys deserve one. Their entire staff is pleasant and professional. They have done multiple jobs at my home and I am always impressed with their work. The owner of the company went out of his way to assist me, when he didn’t have to. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend.

On time and polite! I called as an emergency and they came within two hours. Not only that, but while here I asked them to fix a light switch that was not working. He only had one in his truck that wasn't the same exact color (off white vs white). So he changed it so I could have a working light, and they came back the next day with the replacement color to match.

Very disappointed in the careless service provided by New Light Electrical and Plumbing. Plumber arrived and before even attempting to diagnose a hot water heater leak, he tried to sell me a new hot water heater. First a tankless, then a tanked. After telling him no 3-4 times, we finally talked about the repair. He stated it was a T&P valve without even looking at the water heater. I confirmed with him 3 times that he was certain of the diagnosis and he insisted so. He replaced the T&P valve, left, and the hot water heater continued to leak.

Phoned another plumber to look at the problem, which turned out to be a bad pressure reducing valve. He stated it was an obvious diagnosis and checking water pressure was a standard first step in any diagnosis. Further stated that the water heater was in great shape and would likely last for many years to come.

New Light was careless in their diagnosis, expensive in service, and deceitful in recommending unnecessary replacement.

I have had the "opportunity" to use New Light about 4 times over the last year. The service has been impeccable. The rates are extremely fair and reasonably. They do good work and take the extra step without taking a lot of extra cash. Loyal customer right here.

New Light Services installed a ceiling fan and dishwasher for me earlier this week. The team showed up right on time, changed the box for the ceiling fan without me asking, and all around did a very thorough, neat job! My appliances look and work great, and I'll be using New Light for future installations and repairs.

Travis showed up within an hour, worked quickly to find our leaking pipe, communicated very well how he would fix it and the cost and when the job was done, he cleaned up his mess very well!

My mom called them today, with an electrical problem she's been having for weeks. They came out same day, working her into their schedule. They fixed the wiring
issues she had, were personable and explanitive about future problems while they were there, and worked with her on a price to fix issues she might have in the future. Awesome service, thank you! I feel a lot better about her safety!

I was referred to New Light by Joshua Patterson with ‎Patterson Contracting and I was very impressed with New Light's services- They did high quality work. However, more important, they worked around a pricing issue and stuck to the original estimate. When you add honesty to a good job, they clearly are winners and we will call them again.

Joe came to my house to give me an estimate on adding lights to the bonus room. While in the attic, he discovered a substantial gas leak and called for repairmen to come. Within hours, Paul and Brad (I think I have the names right) arrived. They were fast, friendly, and professional and found two gas leaks! They fixed them promptly and may have saved all our lives. I will use New Light Services again.

Colon was our technician today. He performed the electrical connection for our crawl space dehumidifier. He was courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. Moreover, he explained every procedure of the process. As a mechanic myself, I really appreciated his attention to detail and how transparent he was in what he was doing. New Light and Colon has my business going forward.

Joe came to our house in the middle of the night when a leak in our pipe caused water to flow out of our living room ceiling. He responded immediately saving us damage to our furniture and hardwood floors. On another occasion, we had water collecting under our sink and his men responded quickly and fixed the problem withing 20 minutes. We have also used New Light for electrical work.

Joe is a family man with family values. He is fair and his prices are great. Joe is professional with a knowledgeable, friendly crew. I highly recommend the for all of your plumbing and electrical needs.

This company appears to take advantage of the elderly. My parents used them for a toilet replacement (twice). My mother did not like the first toilet as it did not flush well. She was charged double what other plumbers would have charged for the toilet.

When I noticed the new toilet rocked, left to right, I told my parents to have the company come back and install the toilet properly. It had been rocking since install, three weeks, and in that amount of time the wax ring could have been compromised.

Additionally, their previous toilets did not need a shim and did not rock. The floor is level and is tile. Most likely the toilet flange was not installed correctly.

When the company came out they did not check the install and only added a shim. Even when asked about the issue with the wax ring and install the plumber blew my elderly mother off.

Now I have to pay another company to come and check their work and properly install the toilet.

On 9/28 I had another plumber come to check the toilet and low and behold when he took the toilet off there were two wax rings. Who does that? No wonder it didn’t sit flush.

I would not recommend using New Light Services.

I used New Light Services twice in the last year. First time was an emergency, the hot water heater was not working, they came within an hour and fixed the problem very fast, they had the part on the truck. The second time was a scheduled appointment to fix 3 problems in our house, they showed up on time and did the repairs in about an hour. The prices were reasonable both times. Will always call them first.

Wanted to use New Light because it was located really close to my house and had decent reviews. I made a first appointment for a quote on a Tankless Hot Water Heather but no one showed. So, I called them and asked if everything was alright and if someone was coming. They apologized and contacted Joe who was able to schedule for a Saturday. I waited that time too, and no one showed up again. Disappointed.

New Light did an excellent job for us recently when they installed a new hot water heater and pressure tank. They got the job done as promised. Their work is high quality, and pricing was good also. They reworked the location of the hot water heater and pressure tank under our house, and fit in a larger tank at my request. They did all work as promised. I would recommend them to anyone and will not hesitate to call them again. Thanks New Light!!

We’ve used Newlight for several plumbing and electrical services in the past. Today we had light fixtures installed. We are very pleased with the work done today. Our electrician was on time, professional and very courteous! The work done looks amazing! Highly recommend.

AWESOME! Highly recommend New Light Services! We had two handyman services not show up, others didn't call us back, and others weren't available until next week. We were losing hope in anyone being able to help us, but in less than 24 hours of emailing New Light, they were in our house getting the jobs done! We couldn't be happier. Many thanks to your team!
