Great company! Great people! Great price! Great work!!! What more can you ask for? They came in like super heros and got the job done. I will definitely be calling them back. Jake is someone you would want to call your friend for sure.

Jake rebuilt a retaining wall. project didn't start for about 2-3 months after we were told it would with VERY little communication during that entire time. You don't actually communicate directly with Jake and can only reach out via email. Multiple times he would say he would be there and then no show/ no call. He did this frequently enough to string us along. All of the fill material washed out within 6 months. Now the fence we have that sits just above the wall is falling down. He said he would come fix it and then ghosted us. We had an actual drainage company come out and quote us for his failed wall and they pointed out SEVERAL mistakes that were made in the construction. The communication and follow through is TERRIBLE from this company! DO NOT recommend. Another poor review made the comment that it would be more expensive to hire a lawyer - whole heartedly agree because we investigated it..

We found Summit Construction Hardscape after a plethora of searching for the right company for us. After a short talk with Jake, my wife and I found him to be very personable, honest, and a fellow family-centered person. He and his crew made our dream a reality. Our project included block steps, French drain, pavers, Trex decking and a small retaining wall. They crushed it! Thank you!!

I hired Jake with Summit Construction Hardscape to level and spread crush and run to make a spot for boat and trailer parking at the end of our barn. He was very courteous and listened to what I wanted done. He did great work an at a very fair price. He arrived when he said he would for the quote and was here when he said he would do the work. That there is hard to find today a company that keeps it word.. I recommend him and his company.

Jake and his team did a fantastic job renovating the garden beds around our home, removing trees/shrubs, installing downspouts, retaining walls, and a new patio. He went the extra mile several times to ensure the project would be completed in time for an outdoor party we were planning. He was willing to use some of the materials we had on hand and collaborate with us for the design we wanted. He even gave us a little gift for our son's birthday at the end of the project. He was very easy to talk to, dependable, and just a great guy. His wife handles the behind-the-scenes work and she was very kind and helpful throughout the project. I would highly recommend this small family business to anyone looking to improve their landscape. We are so pleased with the outcome!

Gas firelogs would'nt light a couple nights ago so I called Summit Construction Co. The mans wife called me a short time later to say he (Jake) was on his way. He was very professional and courteous. Within a few minutes he had it fixed. I called 3 different places and this Co. is the only one that got in touch with me. They are an Honest, Christian Co. and still want help me if need be. Thank you guys so very much. You are an absolute blessing!!

Fantastic job grading and laying new gravel on our driveway.

Mitch and his team were very responsive to our tight timeline due to a work-required relocation. They completed all of our repairs very quickly and with top-notch quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone requiring any repair or remodel services around their home.

My wife and I called them a few weeks ago.
They did an excellent job clearing our back yard and grading it off. They left a neat and clean work area when they were done. The job was done quickly with a fair price. We will call them next time we need anything else and recommend them to everyone.

I have worked with Southern Contracting Company twice - on a kitchen remodel and a screened in porch - and could not recommend this company more. I have worked with Mike, who is punctual, responsive, and communicative. The work was done quickly and with high quality. I'm so pleased with the work that has been completed, and will continue to reach out to them in the future with more projects. I can't thank Mike enough!

Overall Thoughts: I contacted Southern Contracting to come out and replace a large sliding glass door at my house. The old door shattered and I had a gaping hole where the door was!

The team came out that day and boarded up the door to keep weather (and animals) out.

Of course, supply chain issues made getting a large door in, but the team seemingly moved mountains to get the replacement door in as quick as possible.

Once the door was in, they came out and got everything installed quickly.

The best part, when they left, you couldn't tell that anyone had been there!

The best part...my wife was happy with the work!

I highly recommend!

I will say that no construction project goes perfectly, and always manage to be somewhat stressful. However, southern contracting company was very helpful and always made sure we got the most bang for our buck. They worked long past the 9-5 hours at times so we could have our basement back as soon as possible.
