As we went along , we made changes and added to our project. She was available to us and made sure all was taken care of. We were always kept informed on when work was scheduled to be done. My wife and I feel really fortunate to have found Piedmont Construction Company to install a power attic vent. Oscar Tello arrived at the designated time and began work. He was very professional and took pains to make sure everything was done correctly. He went so far as to explain things that could be done to help the ventilation problem in the future. I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Piedmont Construction. From start to finish, this was hands-down one of the most professional, high-quality projects I’ve had done on my home.

This was a full roof replacement, including a complete tear-off of the old roof, re-sheeting, and installation of new GAF Timberline UHDZ shingles. If you’re comparing options, the UHDZ shingles are a noticeable upgrade over HDZ—they have a thicker, heavier profile, deeper shadow lines for a more dimensional look, and a Class 4 impact resistance rating (the highest available), which gives real peace of mind when it comes to hail and long-term durability. The finished roof looks incredible and truly elevates the entire appearance of the house.

They also didn’t cut corners on the system itself. Ice and water barrier was properly installed along the eaves, and they used GAF all-metal pipe boots instead of the typical rubber ones—something I specifically cared about because of long-term reliability. Those details matter, and they got them right.

Oscar Tello was excellent to work with throughout the entire process. I’ll admit—I’m very detail-oriented (and probably a bit picky), but he was patient, responsive, and made sure everything I wanted was addressed. What really stood out was how accommodating the crew was. They actually allowed me to be up on the roof with them at times, which says a lot about their openness and confidence in their work.

The crew worked hard and efficiently. They stayed late on the first day to make sure the roof was fully dried in and protected, which is huge. Then they came back and finished everything up the next day (even working on Saturday), without rushing or sacrificing quality.

Clean-up was thorough, workmanship was top-tier, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a roofing company that takes pride in their work, uses high-quality materials, and stands behind what they do, I highly recommend Piedmont Construction.

I requested a consultation and evaluation from Oscar/Piedmont Construction regarding my ceiling that was sagging. Oscar came out and provided a thorough evaluation of not only the ceiling but of the attic where he found the problem. He took photos of the area that needed fixing. But rather than up-charging me for the repair, he chose to recommend a subcontractor who would potentially save me money because of the nature of the problem. This is quite remarkable for a business these days. He did not charge me for the evaluation and refused to accept a monetary tip for his time. Again quite remarkable. Oscar was very knowledgeable and professional and kind. This was an easy 5 star review.
