Reviews of local pros in Akron, Ohio

Working with them has been a breeze and they completely transformed our house! Love it 😊 thanks pence! You guys are awesome

Edited to add my husbands words and some pics too:

When we bought our house some years ago, we knew it had so much potential and Pence Bros really brought that potential to fruition! We are in love with the transformation and could not be happier with the results. They got back to me immediately after I reached out to them when a strong storm took some siding off of our house and really assisted me with navigating the insurance process. It was really easy thanks to them. When they showed up to do the work, they were all so kind and professional, as well as quick and efficient. I could tell they really cared about their craftsmanship. With an extensive crew, they completed the work very quickly while maintaining pro level work. They went to great lengths to make sure that we were 100% satisfied with their services. Which we totally are!!! Our house is now quite a joy to look at and come home to. We would recommend Pence Bros over and over again, please be sure to contact them with any work you need completed to your home, whether it is siding, roofing, doors, window, or really any exterior work, they can handle it and handle it well. Be sure to choose Pence Bros for your future projects or repairs I know we will.

Pence Bros was recommended to us and we couldn't be happier. Jacob and all the people at Pence Bros went above and beyond when siding our home and detached garage. Their pricing was very fair and the work they did was excellent! I would highly recommend them for any services they do.

I had an outstanding experience with Pence Bros. Jacob was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. He navigated the entire insurance process with me, guiding me through the tough conversations and making sure everything was handled correctly.
The efficiency was impressive—the work was completed quickly while I was away at the work. Jacob also patiently answered every question I had, no matter how small. I’m thrilled with the final result; they helped me customize the look of my home with new siding and a clean trim on the windows instead of shutters. Professional, fast, and highly recommended!

After a bad storm we contacted the Pence Brothers. Jacob came out assessed the situation and for the next six months they transformed our house into a place I didn’t recognize coming home to. I never would have thought it possible to own a place so nice. They delivered on everything promised. Hands down the best company we have dealt with since we moved in less than two years ago. There are not enough words to thank them for the job they did

We recently had an old deck removed and a new one built by Pence Brothers. Joe and his crew did and outstanding job. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Pence Brothers. See attached pictures which best describes the Pence Brothers dedication to workmanship.

I contacted Pence Brothers earlier this year after starting an insurance claim, but my insurance company wasn’t very helpful. Jacob came out, inspected my home, and worked for months to get the entire exterior replaced, including the roof, siding, doors and gutters.

After the job was completed, I noticed a few minor details that needed attention. They responded immediately and corrected everything to my satisfaction. Pence Brothers truly cares about their customers and stands behind their work 100%. I highly recommend them.

Excel was quick to respond to our request for a quote on what we needed cleaned. It has been four days and so far everything still looks amazing! Stains on the steps that we thought would never come out are gone!

Technician Andrew arrived early and spent the next four hours working non-stop. I'm pleased with the results and the quality of the service.

Excel did a great job getting numerous stains out of my elderly mother’s carpet. Kevin was very knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend Excel Carpet Cleaning!

Amazing! Stephanie was kind and thorough helping me schedule my appointment. Kevin, who came to clean the carpet, not only did an amazing job, but was so helpful in what products to use moving forward. This was my first experience with this company and I am a forever client now!

Service tech was early, courteous, and very professional. Carpet cleaning is excellent! Very happy with results! Excel is our go to carpet cleaning company!

Excel is always my go to carpet cleaning company.
Kevin does an exceptional and thorough job every single time. I could not be happier! I highly recommend this companyb

Excel did a wonderful job! They were prompt, polite and very reasonably priced. I will definitely use this company again.

Chris and his team are fantastic and so knowledgeable! They have cleaned outdoor cushions, all of our couches and almost all of our area rugs and stairs. They are truly experts in their field and we will use them as our only carpet cleaning service going forward.

I had Excel clean an 8 x 10’ rug that I have had for about 7 years. My dogs wet on it and I tried to clean it with my carpet cleaner.i really like the color and design of this rug and people comment on how they like it with my decor. I was not hopeful of Excel bringing it back to life. I am grateful to say the rug looks brand new and even the stains on the back of the carpet are gone. Thank you for restoring my rug.

Andrew did a very thorough job cleaning our carpets. He was efficient and personable. We are so pleased with Excel!

Five carpet areas were cleaned cheerfully and competently during Excel's last visit. In addition, I entrusted my beloved 50+ year old Persian carpet to their facilities off-site. And they'll do a great job on the kitchen floor tiles next visit. Count me a long-time happy customer!

We recently had the carpets and much of the furniture at our Parish House and Office Building at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kent professionally cleaned by Excel Carpet, Tile, and Furniture Cleaning, and once again, we couldn’t be more pleased!

Chris and his team are respectful, knowledgeable, and take great pride in their work. Our technician, Kevin, was especially attentive and thorough—he carefully cleaned all of our office spaces and most of the furniture in the house with great care and attention to detail.

This is the second time we’ve used Excel for cleaning projects at our two churches in Kent, and the quality of service has been outstanding each time. It’s such a relief to know we no longer have to shop around for carpet and furniture cleaning—we’ve found our go-to team.

Highly recommended! If you’re in need of carpet, furniture, or tile cleaning, don’t hesitate to call Excel. You won’t be disappointed!

They were the only company that I called that was happy to let me bring into their shop a vintage barrel chair. Did a professional job that made us completely satisfied from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Happy customer! They have cleaned my rugs several times and did some upholstery due to construction and pet messes. I am happy with their services and always look out for the deals bc of how much cleaning I need done!
