Great place to have in town. Stocked with many plumbing items you cant find in the big box store. They provide some good insight on installation and they're open Saturdays. Located behind BJ's Wholesale on Moore Rd.

Called about 20 supply houses in total and out of all of them Jeff from Active was about one of the only people who even knew what I was talking about. Although like the other 20 they didn’t carry what I needed he went out of his way to help and even recommended some other places to call. Great customer service and it was greatly appreciated after dealing with a lot of rude and unknowledgeable people basically everywhere else.

It can be dicey going into a place that normally deals with professionals. Too many times they could care less about helping a person who comes in off the street.
These guys were great and really helpful. They sold me what I needed and even cutdown the piece of material without acting like I was bothering them.

I’m a plumber in Missouri and had an interesting problem with a shower cartridge.
I noticed Avon lake Ohio 44012 imprinted on it. So I googled plumbing companies and active plumbing supply company popped up.
I called and talked to John Knight.
And he had me send a picture to him and then went out of his way to help me even though I am in Missouri.

We just remodeled all of our bathrooms in our home. We replaced toilets, sinks, faucets, etc. Butt’s plumbing had fantastic recommendations, their employees were outstanding and easy to work with, and the end result was beautiful! Start to finish would highly recommend!

While I was away my hot water heater went out. I told my property manager to try relighting it and if she couldn't get it re-lit to turn the gas off. She insisted on getting a plumber over to inspect it and get it working. She called butts and the plumber must've just assumed she was dumb and said the gas was just turned off. He got it re-lit and explained how to re-light it which is great. Now I get home and I inspect the tank and notice the reason the flame is going out is because it has a small leak. Now I'm not a plumber but I know a thing or two. I would assume a professional plumber would actually inspect the tank and find the root of the problem when they are called out instead of doing a quick fix. Obviously I need a new tank but I certainly won't be having them install it.

Excellent workmanship. Friendly and helpful. They were efficient and clean exchanging out my old water heaters and configuring the way I requested. I highly recommend them. I couldn’t have done a better job myself and I considered it.

The whole team at Butts has been extremely professional, prompt, knowledgeable and capable. Very responsive and did a great job explaining things thoroughly. They came out on the designated day and we’re incredibly accurate with their timeframes. The serviceman was friendly and made sure everything worked properly before leaving. He even fixed something he wasn’t brought out to fix.

From my initial call for service, everyone was courteous, professional, and very accommodating. Colin, Butts serviceman, was friendly, informative and thorough. As senior citizens with immunocompromised issues we appreciated him following cdc guidelines while in our home. He was also mindful to clean up after himself which we greatly appreciated.

We installed a new sink and re-hooking up the plumbing and garbage disposal was a little out of our wheelhouse. Called them on a weekend (Saturday at 8pm) expecting to just leave a VM but an actual human picked up the phone and took down my info. On Monday morning I spoke with someone who said they should be able to get someone to me by the afternoon. The guy ended up showing up earlier at 10am! Installed the pipes, garbage disposal, and even siliconed our new sink for us and I didn't even ask! Super responsive and did it quickly and cleanly. Highly recommend!

Sam, from Butts Plumbing came on Saturday morning to a condo that we recently purchased and resolved numerous issues under our kitchen and bathroom sinks, water heater plumbing, toilet seating, and numerous other things that came up in the interim.
