Great staff super selection a real Cincinnati gem

I just bought two limelight hyndrangae trees from here. They are beautiful and and the employees were extremely helpful. Would highly recommend!

I have been buying plants here for years. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, and they have a huge variety of plants. I even buy tomato plants and herbs here. I showed them photos of the front mulch beds at my house, and they were able to help me pick out plants and plan where to plant them. It has all grown in now and looks so good - like it was professionally done. I need to get back and have them help me with some other areas that need help. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with the level of service I received by their salespeople regarding the bushes I needed for my landscaping. The nursery is well stocked even at this time which is late summer. Their products are better than what you can get at the big box store and they are more expensive. I like that I can call them and speak to someone right away who is knowledgeable about their products and services. They provide a one year replacement warranty on the bushes that I have bought from them. I am at the point in my life where being treated as a desired customer by knowledgeable service staff and good products is worth paying the premium

I went into the nursery this weekend to buy plants for an upcoming project. I had gone to another nursery ( where they were very helpful but unfortunately out of half of the plants I needed). Brea helped me locate plants, and offered helpful insights of similar varieties.They were fully stocked with every plant I needed. First time in and I had a great experience! After purchasing, Jordan helped me load all the plants into my truck.

Engaged w/ Woody to landscape our entire front yard in summer 2023 at significant cost... very pleased the professionalism and results. Within 6 months, two (of three) Arborvitae died, the third thrives (yet all three planted within a few feet of one another) the two dead Woody replaced Spring 2024 at n/c... those same two Arborvitae died less than 45 days.

Woody kindly offered replacement 25% less yet no guarantee. We passed spending additional $$$$$ for two new trees given no credible reasoning why these plants died twice.

Regardless Woody's inflexibility to satisfy a customer, I will admit that he is an experienced resource should you need a landscape design. However, if you can do it yourself or simply need product, you can purchase what McKeown's sells at Home Depot and Lowes... and at significantly more competitive prices.

In our case, McKeown's lost a customer.

I absolutely love this place! Their stock is very healthy looking, and man do they have a lot! My needs are pretty specific in that I need kill proof plants and flowers that aren't toxic to pets, which is harder to find than you would think. They had plants that I was unable to find at my local chain garden centers (i.e. Home Depot, Meijer's, etc.), such as Bee Balm. The staff is incredibly personable, knowledgeable and helpful! They don't stalk you but are readily available should you need them. I can't imagine a reason to go anywhere else now! BONUS: There are 3 SUPER sweet kitties on site to assist with your gardening needs!

Large home garden center with perennials, annuals, shrubs, and trees. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A little more costly than Lowe's, Meijer and the like (save these types of stores for garden decorations which you won't find here) but worth it for the help, service, and informative labels.

What an excellent place! They had a huge variety of plants, bushes, and trees! The staff was amazing and helped me with every question I had. They also told me things I never would have thought to ask. The prices were very reasonable. They are now the only plant nursery I'll go to and I'd recommend them to anyone!

We recently had Bloomin’ install some hard landscape, add some trees and refresh our existing flower beds. The whole experience was amazing, from the initial consultation and design with Woody, to Tristram, Griff and the guys who carried out the work, and we love the outcome.
We highly recommend them.

Woody did a full landscape design that basically took what was in my head and drafted it exactly. I didn’t make any changes and it came to life perfectly. Steve and his team worked so hard through the insane heat at the install and it turned out so beautifully! Everyone I interacted with from this company was polite, respectful and friendly. The work was done quickly (once the weather cooperated) and done well.

I actually had the exact same experience as the other (current) review. They came out to get an estimate, then boom complete radio silence. I never got the estimate. So this is not an isolated experience...I guess they're willing to just ignore some customers if they have enough work, not sure.

They are very accommodating, on time and do a nice job cleaning up when they’re finished. My yard and my gardens look beautiful!

Scheduled work with Chris in early April, told me he wanted to get the grass started as soon as possible because of favorable weather in Spring. May 23rd was estimated project start date, after not hearing from him a week or so after that date I called and he told me he was running a few weeks behind and would get back to me with a new start date. Never heard back, here we are a month later and I am cancelling the project. Can't speak to quality of work, Chris was a nice fellow but communication wise zero stars. Here we are now in late June and I guess I am to wait until fall to start the seeding so the grass will grow. Get to deal with a muddy back yard all summer now. Thanks Cincinnati Landscaping. I guess a $2,000 job wasn't big enough for them to worry about.

Provided a quote for drainage work 3 months ago. Never contacted me about scheduling the work. Did not respond to my multiple emails and calls. Never did any work at my house but sent me an invoice 3 months after the quote. Stay away!

We've been ghosted. We got bids for both landscaping\drainage, paver patio and a pergola from Chris in early July. We liked both quotes but were not quite ready to commit on the pergola, and asked asked a few questions on the landscaping\patio bid with minor things. It took a couple weeks including following-up\reminding, but we finally got answers to our questions. Finally in September we asked for an updated bid so we could 'accept' it and received it mid-September. From that we requested one thing be removed (stepping stones only). We have heard nothing back. We have called multiple times talking to the office manager trying to get someone to respond. We were told that 'Ben' does most of the landscaping, so we asked to be switched to him. Finally today, we were told that if Chris isn't responding he doesn't want to, and that Ben declined to work with us, having never met us. They have lost us as a customer for all time and set us back 3-6 months as we now have to find somebody else and it's late fall.

Mike and his team do a great job and always confirm the job start date. They show up on time and always clean up after each job.

Cincinnati Landscaping did an amazing job at my house for a french drain. it has dried up my yard completely in just a few weeks! 10/10
