Cincinnati Landscaping did a great job with installing a new drainage system and lighting system. I would totally recommend them!

Have used Cincinnati Landscaping several times and they have helped a few of my clients, as well. Jared is very friendly and helpful. They know a lot about drainage issues and do good work.

I have been dealing with massive runoff into my property, and have given up on the problem being solved by the community management. I wanted to see if I could solve the problem on my own, on my property.
Jared came out for the estimate and was amazing to speak with. He listened to my concerns, walked the area and came up with a great plan.
He was also the first person to get a quote to me and has been great with follow up questions. Wonderful to find someone knowledgeable who also listens. -
I had a failing retaining wall that was located in a difficult area. I met with over 10 different landscaping companies and received a wide range of estimates and opinions on how to replace the retaining wall. I decided to go with Cincinnati Landscaping because of their experience in building retaining walls . The owner, Mike Wilson, walked me through each step of the process and was on the job site working with his crew until dark almost everyday. They completed the job ahead of schedule. Once Mike posts the pictures of this project on his website, I encourage you to take a look at the finished retaining wall. If you need to build or replace a retaining wall I would encourage you to consider Cincinnati Landscaping!

I had a drainage situation around my older home that was getting worse and worse. I’m very glad I called Cincinnati Landscaping to help. We found a mystery downspout discharge pipe that turned out to be full of dirt, and the original plan needed to be adjusted in order to successfully route the water away from house. Jared, Michael and the whole team did quality work and skillfully resolved my drainage problem.

We had lots of standing water in our backyard, as well as some minor moisture issues in our basement during rains. Cincinnati Landscaping provided a prompt quote for installing a French Drain to address our issues. When on site, they made a number of helpful suggestions and recommendations to make sure the drainage worked properly for years to come, like tying in additional downspouts that weren’t linked to the old system, and decorative river rock in areas to prevent any additional soil erosion.
Jacob (the manager) was very helpful and responsive, and came out multiple times before the work was to be done to observe the property and answer additional questions I had.
Their quote was very reasonable given the work to be done and compared to quotes I had received from other companies.
The team that did the work was great, sociable, and happy to show me what they were doing along the way (as I was pretty nosy to be honest).
I had a great experience with Cincinnati Landscaping, and the team I got to meet of Jared, Dakota, and Cody. We even discussed other work they provide, and will be using them again soon when we go to replace our old fencing! -
Mike and his crew did an excellent job replacing a collapsed bridge on our church property with a new culvert and earthen bridge.
Definitely would recommend Cincinnati Landscaping. Thanks again to Mike and his team b -
Cincinnati Landscaping fixed our irrigation problem. It wasn't a big project and most companies we called weren't interested. They squeezed us in before the weather turned and we will have grass this spring! Thanks Jared and team!

The team did a great job installing nice TTTF sod. For the first one to two months it looked absolutely amazing, however due to poor soil prep before installation it did not handle our wet and humid summer well at all. Cincinnati has very little topsoil on top of firm clay, so soil compaction and soil quality is a big issue, which we asked about repeatedly prior to installation. I requested tilling, and top dressing with a few inches of good topsoil prior to install installation, which was in our quote but did not occur because “the sod comes with 2 inches of dirt”. The prior lawn was removed with a skid steer that took away even more of the little soil that is there, and then the sod was installed on heavily compacted, thin soil that had a 5000 pound skid steer driven over it for good measure about 70 times. No additional soil amendment or prep was done prior to sod installation. What followed was an unusually wet summer with absolutely no soil drainage, leading to pooling and root rot. What was $10,000 of absolutely pristine and gorgeous TTTF now looks like hot garbage. We followed all the instructions and did what we could to keep conditions ideal back there, but with poor soil prep this is what you get. I would be less irritated if I hadn’t asked about it multiple times beforehand. We let them know about the drainage problem and they said they would send someone out to assess it, but never did, as far as a I know. But that would’ve been for a new quote and we would’ve been charged probably an arm and a leg to fix something that was caused by incorrect prep for something we already paid for, so we didn’t pursue it. The team themselves, the responsiveness, the work they did during installation were top-notch, but it’s all-for-not if you don’t prep appropriately, and this should be well known by a landscaping company who serves the Cincinnati area, we have compact clay soil that needs some doctoring before you put sod down. The only other complaint is plywood planks had to be laid across our front yard for the skid steer to get across, which we greatly appreciated to protect our front lawn, however the planks were not lifted or removed at the end of each workday and left to sit there for the better part of a week. Then it rained at least a couple of times and the grass underneath and got infected with brown spot fungus due to being kept too wet. Fungal disease in a big stripe right across the front lawn where the planks were laid. It has taken us months to treat the infection, prep, and reseed and it is finally starting to recover. Again, I get that stuff like this happens but we asked about it repeatedly during the process and were assured things would be fine. You protected the lawn from skid track marks very well, but rotted away our grass.

Excellent work - Cincinnati Landscaping did a great job installing a French drain for me, and dealing with my drainage issues. They worked quickly, and were very pleasant to work with.

Mike and his team did a great job on replacing my sump pump and gutter drainage to the street storm drain. The finished product was 95’ of drain line. He does a great job on follow up and making sure his customer is happy.

Easy to work with no issues. Estimation and billing all online. Owner is a really nice guy. Did great work grading and retaining wall came up with a good solution to our situation. Been looking for a good local landscaping company for a while and think I found them.

I had a great experience with Cincinnati Landscaping for a large French drain system. Jared was knowledgeable and straightforward during the design phase, and Mike and his crew did excellent work. They remained professional throughout the project, even during poor weather and tough working conditions, and were always responsive to any concerns. Highly recommend!

Although we had a drain put into our back yard a few years ago, an area adjacent to the drain sank lower and lower over the next few years and as a result, we had a pond in our back yard after every rain. I called Cincinnati Landscaping to take a look at the situation, they proposed a French drain to move water from the low area to the existing drain.
On the day of the job, a 3 man crew came to my home and worked hard all day. First they dug a Y-shaped trough through the clay, rocks and roots that made up my backyard, then they put in the drain, covered it, and planted grass seed on top. The team was courteous and hard working.
The results? The two pictures were both taken after a rainstorm - the first, before the work, and the second, after. Only the ducks, who no longer have a pond to land in, were dissatisfied. -
We hired Cincinnati Landscaping to replace a collapsed drain pipe, which was causing our downspouts to overflow and wash out our mulch. They also put in a yard drain. They completed the work during a wet, rainy day, but were very professional, cleaned up everything and laid down grass seed and straw.
We've since had 2 really strong rains and the downspouts and yard drain are working perfectly. We are very happy with the work and would recommend them to friends. -
These guys did an amazing job. We had a serious drainage issue and they took the time to walk through everything and make the best plan for our home. We replaced two large retaining walls and added a series of French drains to our property. Micheal and the guys were here consistently for days and finished the job faster than I thought possible. The attention to detail and willingness to stop and listen to my concerns throughout the job were great. I would definitely recommend and hire these guys again!

We used Cincinnati Landscaping for a drainage job (replacing clogged/damaged underground downspout drains). They were very responsive and provided consistent communication. They were well-versed on the issue and provided great recommendations/opinions. We got delayed on the job a couple of times due to weather but wasn't any fault of theirs. Would use their services again!

Mike and his team completed a French drain installation in our front yard. This team was a pleasure to work with. Jared came out right away and invested ample time to understand our needs and to develop an estimate. The estimate was very fair and we scheduled time to get the project done. We had to wait a bit for the weather to cooperate and when it did, Mike and his team completed the work quickly and efficiently. Mike’s a great guy, he communicated well throughout and made sure we were happy with the work. We’re thrilled with the outcome and would happily work with these guys in the future. They care about quality in their work and it shows! Highly recommend! Thanks!

Great experience with Cincinnati Landscaping this week! A retaining wall failed on my property back in March. My property is extremely challenging so no other companies would touch the project. Cincinnati Landscaping agreed to do the project, beat their own timelines and were an overall pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

I just watched one of this company’s trucks accelerate hard to try to run over animals. What’s wrong with you?
