I use to be a DIY lawn service. I purchased all the "right" products and applied them myself at the appropriate times. I still was not satisfied with the results. My neighbor always has a nice lawn and he told me about LawnMatters. Since switching to LawnMatters my lawn has never looked better. And to be honest, it's not that much more money than doing the work myself (and getting inferior results). Now I leave it to the pros at LawnMatters. They are courteous, prompt and very easy to work with.

I called LawnMatters in the spring of 2024 because I was tired of doing my own lawn over the years. I reached out to them and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. I said I would try them out. I was very happy with their attention to detail and their results. My lawn never looked as good as it did this year. I also had the aerate and seed the soil in the fall. They also were able to get rid of some difficult sedge weeds I had growing. I highly recommend trying them and I’m looking forward to a beautiful lawn in 2025.

After Lawnmatters took over the company called UltraLawn my lawn has never had more weeds in 30 plus years. I am very disappointed.... I called them and told them but have yet to see any paperwork or their presence here to take care of all my weeds in my back yard. I have referred UltraLawn for over 30 plus years and they are doing over 6 plus households on my cul-de-sac and my other neighbors are now not pleased .

LawnMatters purchased my old lawn service company & I was skeptical on how life would be with the new company. I can now tell you that they are evn better than what my old care professional lawn care service. Any issue, will be resolved so far with 1 phone call. I have absolutely no issues with LawnMatters and they are the best in my opinion.

My first application was put down while it was raining. Had more weeds than last few years combined using a different lawn care company. Took almost three months to get refund for last application that I cancelled.

I started this company because I was referred to them who was a customer of ultra lawn. The service is terrible.the second time they came out I couldn't even tell. I called and left a message and Noone called back. I called again 2 weeks later and a lady said she would send someone out. Well, that never happened. I called again and was told they had no record of me calling. Really? What kind of business is this. Oh, and im still waiting for a call back from a team person and that never happened. But when they want their money, they're there.

My grass is improved greatly, Lawn matters is on time for appointments, very good pricing and applications for your lawns needs. Most of all professional and courteous to make sure your lawn gets best Results.

This is the second year that I had to call and complain about being charged for a weed service that was inadequately applied. Long story short, my backyard is 3,000 square feet. Lawn Matters tech entered my yard and back out in 1 minute and 4 seconds (Ring Camera verification), and I was told that my entire yard had been fertilized by the tech with a hand held spreader, and walking it. To add insult to injury, the manager was rude, billed me the full amount, (which I will not be paying), and said that one minute to apply the fertilizer over 3000 square feet wasn't unreasonable. Lol.
Lastly, and coincidentally, the techs GPS signal which tracks his path walked wasn't working to verify what was done. If you want to be charged for a service not rendered this would be the company to pick. Buyer beware!

I was actually a customer with A company called Lawn tech. Evidently this company bought that company years ago. The new company is totally professional and very fair priced .most of the techs are very knowledgeable especially the tree and shrub division. We planted Over 175 trees and shrubs when we built our house a couple years ago. We signed up for the tree and shrub service to protect our investment so far they have Done a great job with everything. our grass is perfect. I didn’t see a single weed all last season and it is so green it almost looks artificial. The trees and shrubs are doing so well. We’ve only lost one or two trees or shrubs after the original planting of 175 Trees and shrubs.
I would highly recommend this company over one of the big giant national companies because they seem to give you a little more personalized service.

They are easy to work with, reliable, and do a fine job! Gives me one less thing to worry about, which is appreciated!

Followed thru on everything promised and after each service performed left my yard picture perfect

This was the first year I used North Star and I am totally happy with their service. Professional-always lets you know when coming, asks if you need service out of scheduled time and willling to do it. I'm always happy to come home and see the grass cut and edging done..always a great job done!

I've had North Star maintain my lawn at my old home and my current home on the West Side, and they're on time, super professional, and always do an amazing and very finished looking job. They get the work done super quickly—but accurately— and the edging always makes the work look really nice and finished, and everything is cleaned up afterward. I also receive text reminders to let me know my lawn will be mowed the day before, which is truly appreciated for planning. Courteous and professional!
