I just had Hoffman take down some very large trees in my backyard. They are so very professional and truly know what they are doing. David Kollar is the best! The clean up was fantastic and I have nothing but the highest praise for this service. You cannot go wrong working with Hoffman Tree Service! Top notch!

In November 2024 Hoffman Tree raised the canopy and cleaned out the dead in our Oak tree. The entire process was very professional from scheduling a quote to the final clean-up. Thank you to the entire staff!

I happen to catch Brad driving down the street when I stopped him to give me an estimate to have 4 large white pines and their stumps removed. He was respectful, knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel rushed. His estimate was incredibly fair and reasonable. His crew when they arrived were professional, courteous, efficient and well coordinated. They were done in less then an hour with only a few tread marks in the driveway as any evidence they were there at all. Brad came back a few days later to thoroughly remove the stumps to expedite the soil prep for my future tree planting. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience. I now have a “tree guy” and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have any tree work done.

These guys were great! We had a very large tree that grew in the middle of our deck. Due to it’s location it was going to be a very difficult job. We have used 2 other tree removal services in the past and got quotes from both of them as well. Hoffman was not only the cheapest, but by far the best. The biggest tree was the one in the deck. It was over 80’ high and 4’ away from the house. The other one was on the side yard and about 50’ high. Due to the location of the deck one, they needed to use the crane. They were on time, and incredibly efficient. The smaller tree was literally done with 2 cuts! From arrival to departure was less than 3 hours! We will definitely use them again in the future.

I've been using Hoffman Tree Service as our family's primary firewood supplier for years. And I mean family. I have used them for years, and now so does my sister and my parents (plus some neighbors). They offer a fair price, an honest measure of the delivered wood, and honest, courteous team members for both scheduling and delivery. I have, in the past, had to use other local suppliers due to late-in-the-season re-ordering, when supply is low all over town. I've always been disappointed. The differentiator, dirty product. This, dirty product, brings me to this review. Hoffman has always delivered clean cut firewood and, relative to competition, the amount of debris that comes with the truckload is minimal. That wasn't good enough. @Brad_Hoffman invested mightily in new capital equipment that cleans split firewood prior to delivery. The wood that I just received looked practically bleached clean. I am not exaggerating. VERY little kindling-esque bramble was left once the main wood was stacked. And, as far as dirt and debris? Try three very dry dustpans full, swept up in minutes. I don't even know how that was possible. Thanks for making easy work of my stacking and cleaning up. Your investment furthered an already great brand.

Hoffman Tree Service did an excellent job cleaning up a huge pile of chips, and unground stump mess, that another tree company stuck us with. Estimate was fair considering the amount of work and haul away. Work was top notch, and clean up was A+. Would use again, and would recommend. Thanks for a job well done.

Absolute PROS! We had 4 different places out last year. No follow up. We were messing with all these people for months. A friend recommended Hoffman. My job was done 10 days after my 1st call. Estimate to clean up. The crew is also first rate. All very polite and professional.

We had damage from a recent storm where a microburst took off the top of our large oak. We called Thursday morning after the storm. It's Friday and they are just finishing up. They are extremely busy, but work harder to help in an emergency.

Everything was impressive both times I've used them. They most impressive part is really the clean up. There are fewer sticks in my yard after taking down trees than there were before they started. I'll never go anywhere else.

Can't recommend their firewood. I bought a cord delivered. Half is what you'd expect and half of it is outright wet.

The Hoffman team was a pleasure to work with. Arrived on time, worked hard, and did a amazing job! I told the gentleman I wanted to keep some wood to make a table and he went out of his way to cut me all the materials I needed and more! A great experience!

I laughed reading other reviews because I was reading my own experience with Hoffman Tree Service. It seems unusual for a small(er) company to actually do what they say they will do. Brad's crew was professional and efficient. Just as important, the crew was respectful of my time and my property. I highly recommend them!

We have used Hoffman Tree Service on 2 occasions now to remove multiple large trees. Kyle is great and responsive to phone calls and timely in providing an estimate. He gives fair estimates on all of his work and the work is scheduled promptly. Kyle along with his crane operator came the day prior to the removal to assess the area further and plan for safest and easiest equipment placement. Job was started on time and his crew was friendly and knowledgeable. Cleanup of our yard was great as well. If you need any tree services, I highly recommend Hoffman Tree Service.

We had Hoffman Tree Service cut down a tree for my mom. They were excellent to deal with and the two guys that cut the tree worked in sync with each. They were great to do business with and would recommend them as being very professional, fair pricing and great communication.

My neighbor had a tree removed 10 days ago. Hoffman put cones 5 houses up and 5 houses down from the house. Instead of parking their trucks on 1 side of the street, the parked on both sides, completely blocking off my street. They did not post "road closed" signs at either corner, nor did they have any flagger. Because of this traffic was constantly backed up 3-4 cars, trying to turn around. When asked to move by another neighbor who needed to leave, an employee became irate and was cursing, calling the person to get out of their car. I was outside shoveling snow so experienced this first hand. I was told the boss was 2 different people, I don't know. But they were nasty when I told them my garbage was not collected because they were parked in front of my house, which is a no-parking side. Later, a school bus was stopped for several minutes, waiting for Hoffman to move, and all the workers ignored it. The child needed let out at his house which was blocked off. The bus eventually turned around. The company was here all day. But when 4pm came, they moved all their trucks to one side of the street , to stop completely blocking traffic. I'm not sure if someone called and complained, or if it was because people would be getting off work.
I went back and forth about writing a review, as I didn't hire them. But they really caused a mess and a lot of aggravation for all the neighbors and traffic. Just consider their unprofessional treatment of the neighbors.

I highly recommed Hoffman tree service for your tree removal job. Hoffman tree service did not disappoint. They were prompt,professional and friendly. The crew worked together and with obvious high skill sets in each of there jobs. They did a great job of removing a massive tree that had fallen onto my house 2 days prior. They prevented any further damage to my house and cleaned everything up before leaving.

I would highly recommend Hoffman Tree Service. The crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly and professionally from set up to clean up to remove over 70 ft tree close to the house and utility wires. I thought for sure they would come back a different day to grind the stump, but they did that too the same day! Great job Hoffman crew! Looking at our yard today, you wouldn’t even know they were here just yesterday.

Brad and his team were fantastic. We had an 85ft or so tree in out backyard that was close to falling over. They came in and made quick work of the tree. Even with my driveway and yard being tight they were still able to maneuver and get the tree cut down. They were professional and did an excellent job cleaning up! I would highly recommend anyone looking for tree work to go with Hoffman Tree Service. You will not be disappointed!
