### 1/29/2025 Update ###
After my review, the location called within two hours, saying, "We don’t really do refunds." However, they said they WOULD issue a refund if I removed my Google review. When I asked if that was seriously the only option, they promised to call back with alternatives. They never did. It has now been two weeks, and they are completely avoiding us. At this point, the company is flat-out refusing our refund. Avoid this company.

Stanley Steemer responded, claiming we were scheduled for a courtesy cleaning. This is false—we declined their offer due to the poor initial cleaning and overall bad experience. We’d rather do it ourselves.

### Original Review ###
We hired Stanley Steemer on 12/20/2024 to clean one staircase and a hallway for $218.79.

From the start, communication was poor. Our scheduled arrival window passed with no update. When we called, the representative was rude but promised to text when the crew was on the way. He never did. Instead, they arrived while we were out, forcing us to rush home while the same rude representative called again, blaming us for his lack of follow-through.

The cleaners themselves were polite and professional. The job, however, lasted no more than 15 minutes. They assured us the carpets cleaned well, so we trusted them and let them dry for five hours as recommended.

One week later, on 12/27/2024, my wife tested a small 2' x 4' section with our cleaner out of curiosity. The water was just as dirty as when we cleaned our untouched bedroom. We have photos proving that their "professional" cleaning left the carpets just as filthy.

We requested a refund, but Stanley Steemer’s response has been frustrating. Despite reaching out via their website on 1/1/2025 and promptly providing requested details, they’ve ignored our follow-ups on 1/5, 1/8, and 1/10. Today, after 20 minutes on their chat, we learned our location isn’t even reachable through their main support. Now, I have to call them myself just to try and get a refund.

This experience has been a waste of time and money. I strongly recommend NOT using Stanley Steemer.

Josh was extremely pleasant and professional! He was able to answer any and all questions I had before service started as well as afterward. On top of his kindness, he did an EXCELLENT job with our carpets and tile floors! Couldn’t ask for better!

Moose from Canal Winchester was the absolute best! Very respectful of my house and belongings even though I was under renovations. This young man deserves a raise for the length of travel and the service he had provided!

They were incredibly friendly, arrived on time, and worked efficiently without cutting any corners. Communication was clear and professional throughout the entire process. My carpets look and feel brand new! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality carpet cleaning and outstanding customer service.

Moose and TA were very professional, great attitude, enthusiastic and detail oriented. On time, made me feel comfortable walking me thru the process and asked great questions on what I needed to ensure no miscommunication. Very trustworthy and I’ll definitely use the service more often. The company must know what a tremendous asset these young men are to them. Thanks guys
