Reviews of local pros in Canton, Ohio

Jeffery’s chimney cleaning was an excellent experience. Conner my tech was very informative and helpful. He answered all my questions. This house was new to us so we knew nothing of how the previous owners burned or what they burned. I would definitely recommend them. Also a good price compared to other chimney companies. I compared a few.

Nick was very prompt, had excellent communication the morning of our appointment, and took great care of our home. He was clean, efficient and even provided excellent information on our gas log set that we recently purchased. We will be using Jeffery's services every season!

Nick came out to clean and inspect our chimney. He said the chimney didn't need to be cleaned. Nick gave great advice on how often to have the chimney cleaned and what to look for. He told me the fire place was safe and ready to start having a fire. I would recommend Jeffrey's Chimney sweeping to have your chimney cleaned and inspected.

I called for a cleaning and inspection of my fireplace and chimney. I had an appointment the very next day. An employee named Nick came out and did a very thorough inspection. He was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We are having them install new gas logs, and in the spring or fall do work on the chimney itself. Based on our interactions with Nick, we are looking forward to working with this company.

There were two employees dispatched to my house to perform repairs to both of my chimneys and around my garage doors. The both of them were very professional. They were both friendly with my children, who were very interested in what was going on. The repairs were done very well and they stuck to their original estimate. Repairs were clean along with the job site.

Nick was very knowledgeable and very nice and had no problems taking the time to answer all my questions. We take off our shoes in the house but I don’t expect service people to but he did so without anyone saying anything. I only point this out to show the level of professionalism and courtesy he displayed. Thank you so much!

I had a great experience with Jefferys Chimney Sweeping company. They were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly without rushing. They arrived on time, were very patient in answering my questions, and their pricing was reasonable and fair. It’s refreshing to work with professionals who are thorough, reliable, and respectful. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Nick came out and inspected my chimney and pellet stove. Very knowledgeable about his craft. Explained everything in great detail and answered any questions that I had so I could understand them. Highly recommend Jeffrey's. I will never call anyone else.

Jeffery’s chimney sweep has always been great! We use them every year to come out and clean our new wood burner that they installed for us. I’m very grateful for there service.

Todd the owner came out to give estimates on a wood burning fireplace insert and a ventless gas. Todd was super professional and very knowledgeable and offered many options. The estimates are extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They did a wonderful job removing an old section of the top of my chimney and added the proper 3 inch liner down into the basement so that my gas water heater could properly vent outside the home. I was very impressed with how promptly they returned my call for service and they were able to fit the work in before my deadline. I really appreciate that they were willing to drive down to Tuscarawas County and charged a very reasonable rate for their services. They took time to go over options and explain why I was having venting issues and how their solution would work out. I would recommend them to anyone and I very rarely give out such high praise. A very satisfied and grateful customer. Looking forward to working with them in the future if need be.

I highly recommend Jefferys Chimney Sweeping. Nick Jefferys came out Tuesday this week, in this cold winter weather, and did a great job cleaning our fireplace and chimney. He was totally professional, honest, and kind.
He educated me on the status of our flue and actually climbed a ladder and took photos of the condition of our chimney looking down, and then did a thorough job of cleaning it.
He also advised me on future improvements without pressure to do them immediately which I find to be trustworthy and honest.
Thanks Jefferys and Nick for a great job!

Amazing work and Respectable service.

Our chimney was in moderate disrepair and we chose Jeffery's Chimney after some searching around Stark County. Scheduling was simple and their assessment was thorough. They were respectful of our property and got the job completed in a timely fashion (weather permitting). As far as the work needed, they power washed the chimney, removed the extra exhaust shoot from the previous house owner's addition, re-capped the top, filled in the cracked mortar, and re-tarred the flashing along the chimney base.

Their expertise was evident in their evaluation of the work needed and work completed. I have attached the before and after photos. The difference is obvious 😁

My husband and I highly recommend this family-owned company! Todd Jeffreys is incredibly knowledgeable. He not only cleaned and thoroughly assessed our chimney and the issue we were having, but also took the time to guide my husband and me through a deeper understanding of preventative measures. His help and very fair pricing made this an easy choice.
