The Stankus techs are always responsive and arrive on time. They're also very fair, with reasonable pricing - and never trying to oversell me on products or services I don't need. Highly recommend.

Very professional, clean, fair pricing. We plan on using them whenever there is a HVAC issue or when we need maintenance. They hunted down a $400 rebate on our new furnace and arranged for a free home energy audit for us.

We have used them for many years. They are outstanding, dependable, reliable and highly skilled. Just to give an idea of the quality of service: We thought we have a problem with the furnace making an intermittent screeching noise. They tried several things to fix it. Finally one of the guys sat in the basement and waited to hear it. He diagnosed the problem. It was not the furnace but the toilet valve above it. AMazing that they all took the time, time after time to help us get rid of the screech. I needed to call a plumber

I was thankful they were able to come so quickly on Christmas Day to replace my blower motor. I know that they deserve double the service call for coming, but $700 was a bit excessive for a $125 motor that took less than 30 minutes to install. I would have given 5 stars if the pricing would have been more like $550 which I thought would have been more fair. I thought $250 for a Christmas call + $200 for the $125 motor plus $150 would have been fair.

I may try them again when I don’t have an emergency to see if pricing is a little more fair.

I use Stankus to inspect and service all my Heating and Air conditioning and have for 20 years. They are responsive in emergencies, courteous and competent when in my home. Very happy with them.

We were looking for a heating company for an oil furnace after having a bad experience with Burton Sheet Metal.
Stankus sent someone out the day we called (during the holidays) even though it wasn't an emergency & the repair was done quickly & neatly. We had a small oil leak in the line at a connection. The tech even put some drying material on the floor stain to help clean it up. He explained what he did & the type of connector he used to fix the problem. Very polite & professional. We'll be calling them again for future use.

Stankus Heating and Cooling did all the HVAC work when we built our home nearly 28 years ago. Since then, they have been back for annual preventive maintenance and repairs. The company just replaced our central air conditioning about a month ago, and did a marvelous job! Highly recommend.

This company is a winner! We got a call back last night after 2 minutes and told that a technician would call us before he arrived. He arrived within two hours, the night before Thanksgiving. We are thankful for heat today as we have over 20 guests arriving at 1 pm for the holiday. Thank you for saving Thanksgiving for us. We called three other companies, one that recommended we call Stankus, as they had six calls already. We still haven't heard from the other two "Emergency Services" yet and it's been 16 hours. When another company recommends you, you should be proud. Thank you all!

Highly Recommend Stankus Heating and Cooling. Used them for a new HVAC... they gave us a more efficient system than the other two bids for slightly less money. Super prompt, easy to transaction . They were very respectful of our home. We are using them again for a smaller need, - April Air install.

Had them come out on Dec 21 to tune-up my oil furnace. Post visit, my furnace turned off twice in a month, and I still had plenty of oil. I called Stankus during the first time the heat was off, and a different technician came out and told me he would have to charge me $180 just to go downstairs before he even touched anything. I told him forget it, as I was able to get the heat back on.

When the second occurrence happened on Feb 1, I called them back and left a message. Nobody called me back until I called in AGAIN and left another message. I got a call from the secretary who said she had to wait til the technician got back to her about when he could come out. 1 week later and no call.

So, last night (Feb 8), the furnace went off again. I called Burton Sheet Metal this time who came out today (Feb 9) - the same day I called them. The tech told me the main oil supply line to the furnace was closed. He had no idea why it was not turned back on. The only way my furnace was getting heat was through the old water heater oil line. He turned it back on, and now I have heat.

So bottom line, I had to pay another $150 for Stankus' screw up.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Stankus Heating & Cooling converted my house from electric to natural gas over 30 years ago, and when it was time for a replacement their quote for a quality full HVAC sytem install was again better than their competitors. The installers were professional, knowlegeable, on time and did an excellent job. Hopefully this system will last as long as the first one.

I have used Jack Stankus for both my office and now my home. Both jobs were quality experiences and I would call Jack again in a heartbeat. The work crews were on time and professional, explained what was being done during the install and answered any questions I had. Over a great experience with a great company.

Danny and Troy of Stankus Heating & Cooling did a great job getting my natural gas back up and running in my house. I would highly recommend these guys and give them an A+ for all the safety checks and great work they did. They were very conscientious about putting on disposable shoe covers to protect our carpet and floors when they came into the house by not tracking dirt and mud into the house.
Called Stankus Heating & Cooling around 11 Oct 23 2017 and they called back within and hour. Told Jack Stankus what the problem was and he went over what they could do and handed me back to the scheduler. She told me they would have someone check back with me later in the day to come and check on the problem. Received a call just before 4 from Danny and he said he would be there in 15 minutes. They installed a new line that goes from the regulator into the house. They pressure tested the line and found that it had leaks. They went into the basement and into the crawl space to check all the joints and found 2 to 3 leaking joints and repaired them and then bled the system. We had gas service and heat back in the house within a day. They showed up at a little after 4 and were down a little after 6.

Great experience with Jack Stankus Heating and Cooling. They installed a new furnace in my home. Did a great job. Very professional and competitively priced. I will definitely use them again!

I've been using Stankus since I moved here 12 years ago and saw their ad in an old Holy Angels bulletin. I like that they are local and I am comfortable with having their employees in my home. You can't put a price on trust.

They spent the time to make sure all my needs were met. They are thorough with work and do a great job with clean up after all is completed. They are honest. Stankus Heating and Cooling just installed a new furnace and air conditioner in our home. Clint, the technician, and Alex, were wonderful. They cleaned up afterwards and explained the entire system to us! Originally, I called Jack Stankus to come over to quote the new system for me and he came within the hour. He sat down with us to explain everything. This was much better than the other company, that simply emailed us a quote days later with no explanation. Highly recommend Stankus Heating & Cooling!

Choosing Stankus Heating & Cooling for the installation of our new furnace was a great choice. I had an initial visit to repair my very old furnace. They did their assessment and discussed with me thoroughly what issues were found. My decision was to replace with a new more efficient unit. After I gave the go ahead, within a week they had the new furnace and scheduled an install date.
Their installers (Ray & Brandon) were prompt, courteous and very professional. They took great care to make sure that the entire pathway to our basement was covered to avoid a mess as it was raining. I appreciated this extra step. The install looks very neat, clean and professional. When they were completed, they covered all of the information in detail. They also left the area as clean as when they arrived!

We comparison shopped for two gas furnaces. From our research, we were interested in American Standard because of its high ratings from Consumer Reports for reliability and owner satisfaction. We also know that American Standard is made in the same factory as high-rated Trane. Jack Stankus gave us a very reasonable quote and an enjoyable presentation. He is extremely knowledgeable with decades of experience having accompanied his father from childhood. We were very impressed with his installation team. Young Alex was expert and explained the new systems well. His partner Ben was also skillful. The job took two days. All was neatly and professionally done .
