My parents furnace quit working around the holidays. Stankus came out and did temporary repairs to hold them over until the new furnace was in. I am so grateful to them for taking such good care of my parents and the price on the new furnace was very reasonable. Thank you ♥️

We recently moved to the Chagrin Falls area and unfortunately our main heater system in the home needed repair. The company came out and replace the unit while I was away. This providing me an opportunity to rest assure that the heater system was being repaired in a timely fashion. Thank you guys great job.

We have been using Stankus for years to maintain our homes heating systems but recently hired them to install air conditioning. We did our due diligence and got several quotes since it was such a big ticket item. After Jack did a thorough walkthrough of our home and gave us his suggestions, we knew he was our guy and we hired them to do the install.

The equipment came in fast and they were able to schedule us for an install sooner than expected. The crew was on-time, professional, and left our house very clean after each work day. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend them.

We trust Stankus Heating and have used them for our furnace needs for many years. This year we lost 2 relatively new furnaces in a freak flood. They came out shortly after the water had subsided to see if they could save them. Unfortunately, from being completely underwater during the flood, the electronics were ruined and they weren’t able to be saved. We are grateful that they tried. Stankus recently removed the old furnaces installed 2 new high efficiency gas furnaces. We were very pleased with the installation. The installers were professional, efficient, cleaned up afterward and were very sympathetic to our situation. We felt that the price was very fair. Highly recommend Jack Stankus and his company.

I had a great experience with Stankus on a recent new condenser install at my home.

-Communication due to some phone tag with my work schedule was smooth, and calls/emails were always returned promptly.

-They were up front about pricing, and quoted what was necessary. No overselling or wasting of our time with a sales pitch for a boutique system I didn't need.

-They were up front about timing of install, and stuck to it. Our AC unit went out during a heat wave this summer, and I appreciate them promising a date they could deliver on.

-Their crew was respectful of the home, nice to work with, and did a clean install. The guys were professionals.

-Pricing was reasonable for what was provided, after comparing to some much larger and similar sized companies in the area.

I have had Stankus follow me to my third property. I always inherit the old HVAC units and they have always helped keep them going until I could afford a new one. I have always felt they have treated me fairly and ethically. I have never felt ripped off in the seven years I have worked with them. They always tried to find a cost-effective solution until I could do more. My daughter and I have allergies and breathing issues. We need AC. I am very grateful for them always trying to help in a way that works for me, the customer. I love their service contracts too and will continue to be a loyal customer. I highly recommend them. Thanks to all the Stankus staff for all your service! Here's hoping I don't need you anytime soon since I was finally able to have you replace a 30 year old unit. But, if I do need you, I know I can count on you! Again, thank you!

I searched for reliable Heating companies for our boiler unit. Many people shared they had positive experiences with Stankus Heating and Cooling. We also were worried about cost and friends shared Stankus was honest and fair with pricing. They had excellent communication about the appointment time, were professional and polite, and answered my detailed questions. I shared a video of the leak, and they confirmed I had safely shut it off. Repairs are completed as they arrived prepared with parts on their truck. My hands are defrosting as I type this review.

This is not the first time I've used Stankus and I would give them 6 stars if able. Because I'm on a slab with hot water heat (baseboard), the job required more time than some. Over the course of 5 days, the crew showed up every morning as scheduled, on time. I actually felt bad because I never saw anyone take a break let alone a 30 min. lunch break. Alex did a great job as did the rest of the guys. The final invoice matched the proposed price which is always good to see.

We have been doing business with Stankus Heating for at least 20 years. Recently we replaced our furnace(Stankus put it in 20 years ago) and had them do the job. Clint is our technician and he is very knowledgeable and thorough. We decided to not only have the furnace replaced, but have a new water tank put in as well. We trust Stankus to do the job correctly and to assess our needs fairly and cost effectively. We are very happy with their service and highly recommend them.

Brett from Stankus heating showed up quickly analyzed my heating system. It was determined that the thermostat wasn’t reading properly. As I suspected. We also made adjustments to the return cold air removed obstructions. And we throttled the hot air supply some of the rooms were getting too much heat.

A follow up to this story. I had to move my thermostat to another wall. The place it was originally in was a very cold wall with a draft coming through a large hole behind the thermostat. It was originally next to the fireplace that was part of a large void cold air constantly dropping down from the attic. Now it is very accurate problem solved. My 42 year old daughter clued me into the cold wall situation.

Once again Stankus came thru for us. New Ac & Furnace Installed. The installers were courteous and knowledgeable as usual. We have been with Stankus for over 30 years and very happy with them. Highly recommend Stankus Heating & Cooling.

To say Stankus provides great customer service and knowledgeable installation and repair is quite an understatement.

My husband and I have had the unfortunate opportunity to work with many heating and cooling companies for both repair and installation at other homes. None have compared to the extraordinary service we receive from Stankus.

After Purchasing our most recent home built in 1940 we had several urgent heating repair needs. Status always provided exceptional service every time they came to service the furnace. Ultimately we decided to replace our furnace and also install an AC unit. We received quotes from five companies to be responsible about our investment. Jack Stankus’ quote was not the highest, not the lowest, but was very fair. We had hoped his prices were competitive given the excellent services we had received. Digging in to the detail of our quotes (unit brands, motor, SEER, etc.) Stankus was (thankfully to our delight) the best option.

Clint and Alex came out to install our furnace and AC unit. We had met Clint before on some of our previous repair calls. What a genuinely delightful guy! He is brilliant in this industry and definitely knows his stuff. Plus he saved us money on installation of our ac unit duct work. Another great win! Alex, who we had just met was equally kind, and did a great job.

One particular thing we love about working with the team at Stankus is how absolutely friendly and knowledgeable everyone is. I spoke with Carla several times before, during, and after installation and she was a tremendous help. I’m not certain of Carla’s job title but she is often the one who answers the phone. Very pleasant and as I said extremely knowledgeable. It came as no surprise to find out that she is also certified in HVAC. This is another huge benefit to working with Stankus over other companies: even their in-house team members are well versed in the industry!

We’ve also had the great pleasure of working with Sandy who is another in-house team member. She proved to be just as knowledgeable and sweet as the rest of the team. And she too went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed.

After installation and again to my surprise Stankus provided our local utility company all the information needed to obtain a rebate. Nothing needed on my end. Saved us money again!

I cannot be happier with the service and price I received from Stankus Heating & Cooling. My water heater died and out of three companies I called, Stankus was the only company that did not expect me to pay a fee to tell me my water heater needed to be replaced. I so appreciated their ablility to ask me some questions about my old tank and estimate the cost of replacing it over the phone. Brett and Gavin showed up first thing in the morning and had the new tank installed in time for me to shower before I went to work. They were considerate and clean. Brett showed me how to maintain the tank for optimal performance before they left. Excellent company!
