House Cleaning reviews in Cincinnati, Ohio
-
The last thing you want to spend money on are gutters, but necessity called. Cincinnati gutter boys, specifically, George, Adam, and Hayden, were professional, and friendly, and did amazing work. They have cleaned our gutters for a number of years, so we trusted their work. They had me work with Wayde for the quote, he was great, reasonably priced and was complete within a few weeks, as weather permitted.

Shaun and his co-worker did an excellent job installing gutters and downspouts on my old but recently upgraded double garage. I have used them before and will use them again if I ever need them. Highly recommend them

Cincy Gutter Boys did an excellent job with our gutter cleaning! We were very happy with their work and would recommend their services to others!
-
Did a great job cleaning out some rather nasty clogged gutters. However, left a big bag of garbage for me to clean up. All things considered, great work, 4/5 stars, would use again.

Gutter replacement.
The repair crew pointed out some rotten wood that would prevent them from performing work to their quality standards. They were very patient as I made arrangements for the wood to be removed, custom cut and restored. Once the wood support was repaired, the crew was very prompt at coming back out to complete the task. They reconfigured the downspouts to prevent potential debris blockage and they even restored the original leaf guards to the new gutters. -
Would not recommend. Service was not completed-several portions of gutters were not cleared/cleaned, debris was left on the sidewalk. Canceled service after the first visit. Had I not personally inspected the gutters afterwards I would not have know they weren't done, which could have caused significant damage to my home.

The men were excellent!! I had absolutely no problems. They arrived coated my box gutter with a rubber sealant and were gone . I barely knew they were there 👍
-
Not really happy with the workmanship. At first they had my gutters hanging on very crooked and I had to show them how to make them level. Then for some reason the paint on the gutter was scratched and they painted them and got overspray all over the side of the garage they were putting them on. I would definitely find another gutter company for my next project
-
During initial call, said they'd get back to me on a date. A week later, I was emailed an invoice after they "performed the service". Only evidence they came was the gutter guards on the side of the house that they refused to put back on because it was an "extra cost". Do not recommend.

They were didn't show up for 3 weeks after I called to have them come out. They left my spigot on when they flushed and to top it all off they threw all of the debris in my mulch beds. Picture provided is the debris in one of my bushes. I've used Cincy gutter boys before and they usually put everything in a trash bag and set it by my garbage can. This time the mulch beds looked like the proper spot to them. They'll clean your gutters but they'll do a terrible job of it

Update:
Talked over issue with customer service and they repeated service at no charge and have been great ever since. Refreshing when companies are accountable for issues and resolve in timely manner.
Previous Post: Had our gutters cleaned and supposedly flushed in early March and this is happening. This is our third time dealing with a repeat service. I am very much going to look for someone else. This is just horrible service. I called three days ago. No call back. -
Ours was a simple gutter cleaning and Cincy Gutter Boys did the job well. Both of their employees were polite and communicative; great representatives of the company. I look forward to continuing to use them for our gutters.
-
Very quick response and reasonable quote for gutter repair/replacement. The guys came out the next day to fix our gutter! Cleaned up the space completely when finished. Will def work with them again. Highly recommend.
-
Used leaf blowers to spew leaves and gutter debris all over my yard, porches, and garden beds. I had just raked everything the weekend before and they made a huge mess without cleaning up. Took me two hours of raking to get their mess cleaned up. Ladder was placed on top of one of my perennials and smashed. Said that my downspouts would be flushed and they weren’t. Did not text ahead of time. Look elsewhere for your gutter cleaning.

Commissioned Cincy Gutter Boys to clear my gutters and fix the downspout on my home. After being told they would come within 2 weeks, it took 6 weeks for someone to actually attempt any work. When finally they arrived, they said they were "done" and took my money. Meanwhile, the downspout was not connected to my roof ( was just leaning against the house) and the gutters remain pooled and leaking. Photos included. Every time I have spoke with a customer service representative, they have been befuddled and given incoherent excuses for why the work isn't done. My hope was that I could pay to get a job done that I can't complete myself, and instead I have paid to be lied to, cheated, and manipulated. My worst customer experience in a very long time (and that is saying something in today's customer service climate).

Wish I could leave zero stars.
Called and booked them for ONE SINGLE CLEANING. That was all. I paid the $300 invoice in October.
They left dirt and debris everywhere!
I just thought that was part of the process?
Completely incompetent.
I received a second invoice that claimed that they came again. Which is irrelevant. I opted out of a second visit. Charged me another $300.
The problem is that I told them I specifically didn’t want them to come again.
When I called and told them I want the charge removed, they told me they would have to review my recorded call to make sure I turned down the extra services.
Never received a phone call.
And if I had agreed to the extra services, there was supposed to be a discount. There wasn’t!
This place is a scam.
CALL ME BACK AND PLAY MY RECORDED MESSAGE IF I AGREED TO IT.
AT THIS POINT, it’s not about the money! Don’t be a SCAMMER! UGHHHHH!!!! -
I can't say enough good things about Cincy Gutter Boys!! They clean my gutters 5 times a year and always do a wonderful job. This year I had a few issues with my gutters, so they replaced them. They did a great job wirh the installation, and cleaned up everything so well you couldn't even tell they'd been here. Then on Friday, Brian and Adam came by to soft power wash my entire house... and the job they did was fantastic. They were helpful, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this business. They do exactly what they say they will do, take care of any issues immediately, and are very professional. Thanks to all the folks I deal with at Cincy Gutter Boys. I appreciate you!

Garbage organization with horrible customer experience. I can't speak to them without being pressured into setting up more services, it feels like I have to decline 5 times in one conversation. They came over 2 different times. Both times, it was delayed several weeks, if not a couple months. The second time, they told me my house did not have proper access for them, even though they cleaned the gutters the 1st time (I was at home, so we were in communication). Don't use them.
-
All Around Cleaners did not arrive for scheduled cleaning. And they did not provide a courtesy call.
-
Cory did an amazing job cleaning our carpets. He told us what to expect upfront and didn’t have any hidden charges or gotchas like other services have in the past. Cory walked me around and showed me how wonderful the carpets looked and asked if I had any questions! I would recommend them and will be using them again!

4-14-2026 - By calling Doug from a different phone number I was able to get him on the phone. The minute I said who was calling he immediately hung up on me. Unfortunately I am now going to have to take this man to court.
Original Compliant:
If you have to deal with management, I wish you luck because this has been a horrible experience. The tech forgot his large pump spray bottle sitting on the hardwood in our foyer. I called and texted him that same day to let him know but didn't hear back. 10 days later I realized that the bottle had a slow leak and damaged the hardwood (see pic). This is where the bottle was sitting but the damage spread out into the foyer about 4 feet (see 2nd pic). This happened on December 15th, 2025 and here I am in March of 2026 and still have no resolution. I have called, I have a 42 text message thread with Doug Hauenstein the owner and we have swapped 18 emails. He acknowledged they were at fault but every time I reach out to him, he asks me for something different: pictures of the floor, a quote for the repair, pictures of the floor, fill out a claim form, more pictures of the floor, an invoice for the cost of the repair, etc. Each time I send him something, there's something else he needs.
He wanted to send a "handyman" to fix the floor because he said the bid I got for $760 was too high. I told him I wanted to use a qualified contractor because this is in our foyer and it's the first thing you see when you walk in the door. Our flooring is not standard hardwood so the boards must be replaced and not simply sanded and refinished. I wound up compromising and told him I was willing to pay $200 of the cost for the repair, which would reduce his amount to $560 in effort to make sure the job was done right.
Next Doug sends me this about the contractor who gave me the quote for the repair:
"we were unable to find an active business registration for "White Wood Studios LLC" in Indiana, Ohio, or Delaware."
I sent Doug this contractors LLC registration and EIN (Employer Identification Number) but it seems like he just keeps trying to find reasons to not have to fix our floor.
Next, almost 2 months after they were at my house and after sending everything he has asked for (some things multiple times) Doug sends me this:
From the owner Doug:
"To resolve this matter, please select one of the following three options.
Option A: Internal Resolution
We will issue payment once we receive the following for our records:
- IRS Form W-9: Completed and signed by Daniel T. White.
- Certificate of Insurance (COI): Proof of liability coverage for the repair work.
- Photo Verification: A photo of the completed repair to verify the work described in Invoice #1382.
Option B: Insurance Carrier Claim
If the documentation above cannot be provided, I will turn the file over to our insurance carrier. They will manage the process, which includes an independent investigation of the site and the contractor's credentials.
Option C: Homeowners Insurance Claim
You may choose to file a claim with your own carrier. We will cooperate fully with their subrogation department regarding the incident."
I told Doug we could do Option B and ever since, he has completely ignored any attempt I make to contact him. He will not answer phones calls, emails or texts. I sincerely encourage everyone to not use this company.
3-19-2026 Update to his response: At no point did Doug offer to refund the $419 for the cleaning. Not that I would have been okay with this, I really just want the flooring repaired but there is no truth in his statement. What he offered was 20% off our next cleaning, so basically $80.
