Robin did a good job on our initial deep cleaning. The only thing she missed were the doggie nose prints on the inside glass of back door.

I was told they cleaned my new home I am renting . I went in an check an my refrigerator had nasty stuck on food in it . My stove had food an nasty everywhere. The windows all looked like some kid smeared snot on them .. it was never cleaned . They may have vacuumed but that's its . I told the people we are renting from , they are so upset cause they use them all the time. I know i will not ask for them to ever come clean again. My 7 yr old did a better job then they did. .

I know my house was in pretty bad shape, but there were a few things missed. I'm gonna take a couple of photos and talk to Amy. I also need to clear more things out of the way. It was good, but I'm not sure it was $222 good.

Kathy did an amazing job getting our apartment cleaned up for our move-out. She went above and beyond what I expected. Highly recommended!

We hired MerryMaids to perform a move out clean. They only sent one person who was there for a few hours. Basically a routine cleaning upcharged as a move out clean. A lot of areas were entirely missed. I'm guessing that like most everywhere else they are experiencing staffing problems. I get that. But if you can't provide a service you sell, don't sell it. We were willing to pay whatever necessary to have it done right, so the cost wasn't the issue. Very disappointing. We're going to have to go back and finish it up ourselves, which defeats the purpose of hiring someone for it.

Carol did a fantastic job of cleaning my home! So did Shonda (April/May). Unfortunately, the woman who cleaned June/July was terrible-please don't send her again. I hope Carol comes every month!

Merry Maids has never let me down . Always a fresh house when I walk in . Reminds me of when I bought the place , and that’s why I highly recommend . ( Your home will thank you later too ) .

Darrion surpassed all my expectations . he is a joy to have in my home and I really really appreciate the service I received today.

Not happy with this company at all. I wasted an hour consulting with someone who came out so I could show them what all I needed done and nothing of that conversation was communicated to girl who came to clean so I wasted even more time going behind her for over 2 hours showing her what all I needed done as they were charging me almost $180 for the service that day… thank God the girl was sweet because if not, I would’ve cancelled right after that… I asked that the girl not be in trouble but that they send someone else with more experience next time. Welp, today is cleaning day and I get a message that the same girl is on her way… I’m just super annoyed and frustrated because I hired this service to save time because I need to be focused on other things right now and here I am not only wasting my time but my money as well. Oh! And they literally only have one customer service rep for the entire east side… she is nice as well but one person can only do so much.. very disappointed and most likely cancelling this service after today.

Lisa did an excellent job! My only comment would be that they should have sent more than one cleaner due to the size of my house! She had other obligations and felt rushed.

Our experience was great, she did an incredible job! Fast, efficient and friendly! Saved us on the move out cleaning of the house! Thank you Merry Maids!

Merry Maids does an excellent job each time they clean our home. Our dogs shed year round & without MM it would be out of control.

The lady who cane to evaluate my house told me the maids would clean a high hanging chandelier and high shelves in the foyer and bedroom. And all of the window sills. And kitchen appliances. The maids didn’t touch any of these and the dust is clearly visible. I called to complain and was told the maids Can’t reach those high items but did use a dust wand on them. They did nothing. A second team was sent out free of charge. They got the window sills but the shelves and top of the appliances were not touched. I will never use this company again and would not recommend them

We are mildly disappointed with the cleaning. There are several items that were not cleaned or dusted. There was only one rep arrive to do cleaning. We've used Merry Maids in the past but never had only one person assigned to our house. I'm not criticizing the young lady (Gabrielle) that did the cleaning - she worked her butt off for the 6 hours she was here. Just too much work for one person.

I had an estimate done with Amy. The company called the day before and confirmed the appointment with me, as is their procedure. The day of the estimate, Amy called me at 2:15pm to "make sure I was at the house", of course I was, then she said, "ok, I am leaving the office now." 😳. Really? 15 mins BEFORE a CONFIRMED appointment? Of course, she got here 10-15 minutes AFTER the scheduled time. I walked her thru the house, she wrote down everything I wanted done (I had already specified TWICE, that I wanted a move-in cleaning). The day of the cleaning, Kathy came in and did the cleaning, the usual, basic vacuum, clean floors, bathrooms, etc. 😳😳. Hmm...no cabinets wiped down and wiped out, no dust from corners vacuumed (the home is new construction), no baseboards wiped down...clearly, Kathy had not been told what I had requested. So, if Amy was not going to relay the requested items to Kathy, then what's was the point in writing everything down??!! So, bottomline, Kathy (the cleaner) did a very good job and was very nice and courteous, Amy fid not provide any value to my experience since she showed up late, either did not know the difference btwn a regular cleaning and a move-in cleaning OR Merry Maids does not actually have a defined Move-in cleaning process.

So the three stars are for Kathy (ONLY) she is the innocent party in all of this.

Overall, if you get the right person Merry Maids does a great job. We have gotten one person we prefer and asked for only her to come and clean our house every other week.

I canceled my service with Merry Maids after two visits from them, but It's important for me to start of by saying the I did not have any issues with the quality of cleaning provided in my home. The lady that would come, did a decent job, and did what I asked for when signing up, and was professional in doing so.

What my rating is for rather is the the professionalism of the company in general. When signing up I was told that I was able to text a number and ask when my service appointment would be. Upon doing so I was provided a window of when the housekeeper would show up. On both appointments, the housekeeper showed up way outside the time window provided. The first time, she arrived she was nearly 2 hours past the two hour window provided. That time the reason she was so late was whatever mapping tool Merry Maids uses had my address listed in an entirely different location of town that my house is located in. I'm not sure what tool is used, and/or why my address showed/shows up for them in a different part of town. Fine, I considered this a fluke, and that it would be fixed. Nope.

Second time the housekeeper was about an hour late outside the window provided. I messaged the company, inquiring, and rather then being offered an apology for being outside the window, responded to me is what I considered to be a very unprofessional response, telling me that the time provided is only an estimate and that the housekeepers are not provided a set time for each home. Granted... so why provide a window of when I can expect my housekeeper when I inquire?

For the price that customers pay for this service, I expect prompt professional responses and service. I'm provided a window, and I ensure everything is ready for the housekeeper to arrive during that window. I also understand that after the housekeeper arrives, there is a period of time I need to free up so the housekeeper can perform her services.

On both occasions, if the window was either extended, or I had received proper communication prior to from the company, I could have planned around and made best use of my time; which is valuable to me. Merry Maids doesn't seem to care about their customers time.

finally... upon canceling service, when I called, I told "Lisa", that I no longer needed their service and would like to cancel, all she told me was "Ok, I'll take care of that"... nothing else. It would be nice if I was asked why, or if there was anything Merry Maids could do to keep me as a customer; again they don't seem to care. And if they did, it's probable that I would not be writing this review.

Kathy arrived on time and brought Shonda with her. They didn’t just pretend to clean but really cleaned my home. They were very friendly. I was going to cancel my service but I have now reconsidered. I hope to get the same cleaning people next time.

I was extremely pleased with their process from start to finish. From the time they came out to walk thru the house til the time they completed the deep cleaning. 3 people came out and took on my enormous cleaning job . I really thought since it was so disgusting they would turn around and run out the door. They stuck with it and the place just gleamed and sparkled after they completed. It was beyond what I expected could be done . Everyone I encountered from the first contact email til the final result I experienced very nice , professional, hard working individuals. This is a top notch organization !!!!!

Had a very bad first service from one of their staff. When I called and complained, they immediately sent another crew over. The new crew, Jennifer and her daughter, not only made keen observations on the state of the first clean, but also went over and beyond in getting every single thing redone. Very happy with their quality of work. They are the only reason I didnt cancel this service yet.
