Waking up on a Sunday morning during the holiday season to a cold home is never pleasant. Called Chapman Heating and they answered promptly, offered to come that afternoon to check the furnace and provide space heaters. Quickly scheduled us for service Monday morning and after a diagnostic check, determined our best bet was a new system. Began work Monday afternoon and by Tuesday we were warm. Completed the AC install Wednesday. Andrew was professional, explained the mechanics in laymen’s terms and very kind and thoughtful throughout the process. Would highly recommend to anyone! Please support this local Anderson Township business!

In early April, Andrew arrived the same day as our service call, diagnosed the issue with the blower module quickly, considered some options and provided the cost of the repair. The next morning he returned to make the repair in 20 minutes. Heat restored! Andrew also addressed all inquires about the repair, as well as future plans for our aging heat pump. Glad to be a long term customer.

Very pleased with Andrew’s quick response .. he came same day to figure out what was wrong and came back later that day with the part we needed. His explanations and advice made sense to us without the upsell pressure bigger companies seem to do. We will definitely be using him again and signing up for the routine maintenance program.

The Chapman Heating & Cooling Company were extremely efficient. I called after work and they came to my house early the next morning to fix my furnace. The whole process was quick and easy. Both Andrew and Chris were in constant contact with me regarding what was wrong with my furnace and what the cost would be. They also got the work done very quickly. I would highly recommend their service to anyone in need of repairs to their heating or cooling units. I will be using them for future maintenance and repairs !

Andrew was able to make it out same day to repair my AC. He quickly diagnosed and explained the issue with the capacitor and had it running again within the hour for a reasonable price. Communication and professionalism were great throughout the experience.

We were having an issue with our furnace today, and I couldn’t wait another minute to share my experience with Chapman Heating & Air. We have been using them for at least 20 years +. When we called they were at our home within an hour. Quite amazing considering the weather right now. We have been delinquent on our cleanings also. Not only did they fix our noise issue but they cleaned it as well which cost them a lot of elbow grease and some time, so thank you for giving us peace of mind. 😊 Thank you so much Chris & Andrew Chapman. Baby It's cold outside! Woke up at 5 this morning and baby, it was cold inside, about 45°. Thought thermostat had gone bad because of the way the furnace was cycling, but not sure. Called original installer from 25yrs ago and they had trouble scheduling. We decided to try and stay with someone local and called J.J. Smith Heating. Explained the problem to them and they had someone at our home within an hour. It was not my thermostat. They explained and showed me the problem. Now they could have gotten me for the cost and replacement of thermostat, plus fixing the real problem without any argument from me, but they didn't and that people, is honesty ! I truly believed our bill would have been double what it was. A big thank you to Andy for your prompt and honest service. We highly appreciate and recommend J.J. Smith Heating !!!

We have used JJ Smith for all of our HVAC needs for many years. Chris is such a great, knowledgeable, and professional service technician.

Andy and his team were great. They went above and beyond trying to fix our furnace that was installed incorrectly by previous owner as well as investigating thoroughly why it had failed. Turns out we did not have adequate air return. We ended up having to get a new furnace but I felt good knowing it was our only option since they took the time to change out some parts to see if that would work. They fixed some other items that were incorrect as well and their work was very meticulous.
