Im giving stratus a 2 star review.
Stratus wants you to setup your own business name and LLC that’s great right ? They have you get an LLC as a partnership ,but on the back end they treat you like an employee. They communicate with the accounts behind your back and do inspections without you the BUSINESS owner being present. They have you set up as a partner so they can avoid having to pay employee taxes.
However we clean these buildings get charged a mandatory fee monthly, reason being the LLC established has to” buy”the account and honestly your not even buying the account it’s never truly yours. Depending on the size of the account you get charged what is called a multiplier , whatever you’re being paid to clean the building is how much they charge you X3 to “BUY” the account . For example if your making 3000 on an account you have to pay 9000 to “buy” the account , even if you don’t want to buy you still get charged . What bothers me is seeing stratus get 5 star reviews ,but the cleaner never gets a 5star on a monthly report , you’ll get a 1-4 stars at best, but never a 5star. These people start off on fire handing out accounts but it slows down . We haven’t had a new account in over 2 years . They encourage you to bring business to them and you’ll get a piece of the pie, but you’ll still have to buy the account lol. Luckily we’ve found our own business and kept it to ourselves so that we can enjoy full profit without being charged for everything. I encourage everyone to step out and hunt down business for that LLC you created . O yea they have specials , but the split is 70/30 . Stratus has the potential to help change peoples lives , but the penny pinching is insane . They should be partners and only that.

Stratus is professional and easy to work with when providing cleaning solutions. Any issues are resolved quickly and with courtesy. I highly recommend there services.

Beware of any company whose contract states that they have 30 days to "cure" their cleaning issues.. This is a red flag. No company should have to put up with more low quality cleans after the initial TWO were terrible - Please do your jobs right the first time.

They spammed my email claiming they were local and in my area, while listing an address that was somewhere else. I replied to clarify, and they ignored me. I won't do business with a company that misrepresents itself and ignores questions about its service.

Update: despite a response from the company that they are not spamming. A new email from Stratus says “Either Sarah Thomas or Lisa Lowe from our team would come to your site for the walkthrough. You can also search their names online to verify their professional experience and credentials.” It looks like they may be using a 3rd party “lead gen” company that just spams people. It’s bad enough to spam and deny but then use another company to “claim” it isn’t you is sickening.

Charles and his team assisted me with cleaning out a property that I was listing for sale. The previous tenants left a lot of personal items and the units were in VERY bad shape. The team scheduled the job quickly, was professional, communicated updates well and they efficiently cleaned everything out in 2 days - just in time for photos. I would highly reccomend their services and would use them again to get properties ready to list. Thank you!!
