Hands down the best, most responsive plumber in town. I have used them multiple times and will continue to use them for my 95 year old house.

I initially called with one small repair job. I booked them based only on the recommendation of a friend. They were good sports about working around my tenant's schedule and Paige was very patient with me when I asked to add 2 more items to the list. Jeremy even got there earlier than expected, was great to work with, took it in stride when he ran into two snags (one because of a bad order I placed and one just because of the condition of the pipes), and explained everything to me well. I will gladly call them the next time my 1937 plumbing needs attention.

My outside spigot wasn't installed properly. As a result, it froze and burst.I called Jim the Plumber and Jeremy arrived on time, was professional, explained everything needed, including the cost. He got it changed and repaired as we planned. No surprises!

I called in the afternoon and was scheduled for 9 - 1 the next day. Got a call at 8:00 that Casey could come earlier. I said sure and he arrived at 8:30. He was polite and friendly and asked me about the problem. He used the hand held rotar tool and cleared the problem. Wiped up the floor carefully, accepted my credit card payment and thanked me. He was gone and problem solved by 9:00. Great service and easy to arrange. Thank you.

Joseph was timely, informative and made sure we didn’t need any further assistance while he was here. Resolved the clogged drain quickly and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommend Joseph!

I ran out of hot water, called one hour heating and cooling and was referred to BFP . they got me on a schedule the following day and showed up 2 hours earlier than planned. It was 3 guys and a supervisor who showed up on site. Very professional and respectful of my home. Cleaned every debris after service and left my home like they were never there. I could not run my gas 30 minutes after they left, called back and they returned to check it out with no complaints. My hot water is running, YES hire them and thank me later!!!!!

After weeks of leaking dishwasher woes and self-repair efforts, we called Ben Franklin. A plumber, Michael George, came out to our house that very same day. We ended up needing a hose replacement due to mice damage (which involved a complete re-installation), plus a new shut off valve. He was highly informative, efficient, and friendly, reflecting that pride-in-work ethic that's hard to find. Our family will certainly call him for future needs!

If you are looking for an expert plumber, his name is CHRIS! Chris has been at our house one or two times to fix various leaks. Unfortunately for me I needed to call again because of a leak. I placed the call and within 24 hours my leak was being fixed. I was lucky enough to get Chris again. As always, he was thorough, informative, and his expertise is evident in his approach to everything. He ALWAYS checks, double checks and triple checks to make sure his diagnosis is correct and it is always right on!! He identifies the problem, explains what needs to be done, repairs it, and gives a recap of what he did, why he needed to do it, and what I need to do to maintain it if anything. Chris is incredibly personable and just an all around nice person. He is my go to person when we need help and I can’t thank him enough. He surely deserves great recognition for his hard work. I had someone come out last week because my dishwasher and sink water weren’t draining and kept backing up. The plumber was friendly and showed up on time, but spent about three hours working inside without fixing the issue. He said the main problem was outside — which he never checked at the start — and wanted to charge me another $240 just to look out there after I’d already paid $280.

I called the office afterward to talk to someone about it, was told I’d get a call back, and never heard anything. I ended up hiring a different plumber the next day who found the actual problem outside in about an hour and only charged me $98.

Very disappointed with this company’s service and pricing. I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience. Invoice #1264807

Joseph Steffen and his apprentice, Mike Worley were essentially perfect. They took care of our immediate needs. The extra bonus was their communication and friendliness. True professionals.

Total blockage main drain to sewer. 90 ft down due to roots. Casey had to remove toilet and bring in major tools. Called 4pm and he was there at 6pm. Working over 2 hours. So grateful for the quick response and that we did not have to book a hotel!

I called to schedule an appointment thinking they would come some time this week but they were able to come within an hour. Chris showed up and put shoe covers on to protect our flooring. He was very nice and personable. He identified the problem, brought supplies in for the repair and replaced a pipe, explained the process. He checked his work and corrected the tub drain which wasn't requested because I didn't know it was on the wrong way. He was very nice and did a great job on the repair and checking and explaining options on another plumbing issue we had.

Joseph was very thorough searching for the leak in my sewer pipe! After locating the leak, Joseph took the time to explain what was happening and what the next steps should be. I appreciate his dedication to his customers. Thanks, Joseph!
