I scheduled an online appointment to save time and then got five text messages and two phone calls. Asking me the same questions over and over and over again starting at 8 AM on a holiday weekend. The level of greed, it takes to act like this is off the charts

Since we had our roof done we have had more issues and problems than before they touched it. There is a good chance, with some recent developments that they didn't complete all the work promised. We are going to have to have another roofer come out and check their work.
During the roofing process they destroyed our gutters, didn't put all the pieces back on the gutters, were hard to communicate with and we have had more nails in our car tires than I can even count. I have probably spent at least a thousand dollars if not more on new tires. Cleanup wasn't good.
I will keep this review updated as the story develops, but I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere for your roofing needs.

Update: They reached out so they could take a look at some things and then when I returned their call, they never got back to me.

We hired Van Martin to put a new roof, siding, and gutters on our house and the experience was honestly less than perfect. The project manager assigned to our job quit without notice. The communication was pretty rough and we had a few issues with sub contractors. Worst of all one of the sub contractors broke a memorial statue we keep for our son. It was a strange experience, every time I talked with someone at the company I felt like things were under control and then something else would happen. I was frustrated because I had a feeling I was getting a subpar experience from a company that really wanted to do better. There intention wasn't for all this to happen but the result was that we had a pretty bad impression left on us.

A year or so later we had some small repairs that needed to be done to the original soffits. We decided we'd call Van Martin again and see how things would go. We honestly kind of had a bad time at first getting in touch with someone and getting them out to the house but the owner heard about this and knew about the issues from the roof and wanted to try to make things right. He sent Mike and Josh, from there service team out, and they were very kind and hardworking. They touched up some paint, renailed some loose boards, and did a handful of other repairs to extend the life of the original soffit boards. We were happy with their work and the owner covered the cost in an effort to buy back some good will.

The world we live in is a complicated place and all businesses will make mistakes. While we don't have a perfect review of Van Martin, we do think they are a good company. They try to do their best for their customers and stand behind their work and when they come up short, they own it and try to make things right. That's pretty rare in our current climate and we greatly appreciated them for it. We hope to do business with them again in the future.
