Constraction reviews in Cleveland, Ohio

Excellent communication, workmanship and product! We are so impressed and happy with our kitchen. The quality of the product used makes our cabinets look like they are directly from the factory. Great team to work with, from our initial meeting with Jen, our salesperson, who felt like a friend by the time she left, to Chuck the carpenter and his creativity on adding framing and shiplap to our bottom counters, to Liliana the interior designer, to Monaca and her team of painters (great people to have in your house for a week), to Andraya the cabinet door painter, a very professional team who take pride in their work! No doubt we made the right decision when choosing Textbook Painting for our kitchen project.

Textbook painting transformed our kitchen. While the wood in our 35 year old cabinets were basically in good shape, the appearance was old and worn. We worked with Textbook to identify a fresh color scheme and new handles. Brandon came in, removed the old doors, which went off to be redone, while he prepped and painted the cabinets. Along with Kevin he reinstalled the doors, replacing hardware where needed, and then left the kitchen spotless. His work was precise, thorough and efficient. We plan to use Textbook for our future painting needs. I posted the before and after photos.

Excellent experience from beginning to end of this process. I'm very excited and pleased with the results! My crew leader Bethany was awesome! She did a perfect job, set expectations for the work, spotless clean up each day. Would highly recommend!

Olivia was great to have in our home for a week while she painted the trim of our kitchen cabinets! (and removed and re-hung our cabinet and drawer fronts)
We appreciated her superior communication as to what she was doing/what came next/and what time she’d arrive each morning!
And the result is we have a new kitchen!!!
We couldn’t be happier:). Hopefully Miss Olivia gets a raise/bonus for a job very well done!!! Way to rep Textbook Painters in the most positive way!!
Our cabinets and trim honestly look like they are brand new from the factory…
Thank you!!!

Edit/update to add - Textbook came out to paint my downstairs hallway and back office bedroom, and both ceilings last week. They did the entire job in one day and I couldn't be happier with the result. Clean lines, professional courtesies, nice young team just handled themselves really well. I especially love the color of my back office - a deep red - and so did they! I asked them to talk through my next project - kitchen painting and cabinet redo, and they took the time to walk me through all the details.

Sal and Matt were just awesome and I'm so happy with their work. They definitely deserve a bonus!!

This is a terrific company and I can't wait to have them back for the fifth project!

I had Textbook Painting tear down wallpaper in my bathroom and remove badly chipping paint on the ceiling. They then painted everything a gorgeous white color - that I picked out - and it looks fantastic. They also painted the ceiling in one of my bedrooms, which turned out so well I'm having them come back and paint the whole room. I would definitely recommend them!

Tyler and his crew did a great job transforming our kitchen. They were on time, responsive, respectful, and talented. We chose to spray paint vs hand brush our kitchen, and the extra steps he took to ensure everything that wasn’t getting painted was protected, was much appreciated. Our kitchen looks great!

Fantastic company to work with. Christian’s crew did a great job on exterior of our home. They were all polite, conscientious and hardworking. Meticulous attention to detail and stellar cleanup. It is wonderful to see folks that are proud of their company and the work they do. Communication was amazing. Courtney kept us updated every step of the way. Tyler went above and beyond talking to us about what we wanted and then provided an estimate in ten minutes. It was in line with 3 other estimates, but he won the bid with his knowledge and the fact that he had a decent estimate so quickly! I highly recommend this company.

First off I'm in love with how my final look of my cabinet sanding painting and refacing of the doors and of the handles turned out. the young man that did the work was phenomenal kind courteous detailed when I had questions or oops/ I just politely shared it with him and it was taken care of he was fast efficient and again very respectful to me and being in my home. The salesperson she was a gem adored her very nice very informative did not push anything on me much appreciated! politely answered any questions and assisted as much as possible. Now for my review on the project manager she initially came across very friendly however once I started reaching out to her about questions clarity concerns upon many details that took place for the project she lacked she ignored she didn't get back for days and days( I was on point to have certain days of this project to be completed)which i was told from day one as long as I did my end/payment these dates would work) there were multiple mistakes done via text and in my opinion when that occurs you should be calling your customers 100% of the time text should not be used when you're dealing with four five six thousand dollars! and there's already been multiple communication mistakes and being ignored via text so for that reason I'm a little saddened that this is considered acceptable with this company. I would hope that everyone would grow and learn from this and try to do better but no one has reached out about me voicing my concerns when I went above her to have someone reach out to me. so I'm to assume they don't care!!! and that's okay I still got the end result that I hope to achieve with only being one day over which I worked out fine with the young man that was doing the job in my home. again quality final outcome absolutely beautiful.

Now the walls trim to be next and it will be completed 🧐

I cannot believe how easy, efficiently this project was pulled off. I babysit from my home and I have a house full of kids everyday. With the kitchen being the heart of my home and business it is very important that a project like this is done quickly. The painters worked around my schedule. The cabinets came out beautifully!!!! I could not be more pleased with how easy this project was. If I could give a 10 review I would. Thank you for the beautiful work and I would highly recommend them .

Textbook Painting was a pleasure to work with. We were impressed from start to finish. The person that came out to give us our quote was helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. We received many quotes and were most satisfied with Textbook Paintings cost in addition to the professionalism we witnessed with the initial meeting. We also appreciated having an interior designer come out to help pick the color (there were quite a few white colors). We found that Textbook was able to get to our project quickly and they communicated well through every step. Our painter Irvin was professional, trustworthy, considerate and personable as well. He made sure to explain what he would be working on daily and to keep us informed each day about when he would arrive, etc. He did an excellent job painting the cabinets. We are very satisfied and would recommend Textbook to anyone wanting to update their kitchen! I’m so happy in mine now!

I am so happy we decided to go with Textbook Painting. They were the last step after an 8 month house renovation. Jen gave such a detailed quote and was so patient with all the questions we had.
Courtney was so organized, kept me up to date, and was able to get everything started/finished sooner than expected. Brandon, Kevin, and the rest of the team were very kind, on time, and just did an absolutely incredible job. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We obtained multiple bids for our project, and Textbook was the lowest bid, but also contained the most detailed quote and made sure we covered in the walk through.
We had our kitchen island refinished and painted, and a big chunk of our interior walls and ceiling painted. They did a great job. Everything from the estimate discussion and review to the final product was done to our satisfaction and looks great. Liz did some drywall repair prior to painting and it blended in seamlessly. Eddie was our lead for the project and made sure everything was done to a high standard. I would recommend them, and use them again. These two people kept everyone focused and made sure the end product was first class.

From the start and through the project, communication was excellent. Price was reasonable. Chuck did a super job on creating and installing picture framing trim and painting the room. Respectful and clean. Highly recommend and will use again!

Textbook Painting really came through on their warranty promise. Chuck cleaned, prepped and repainted any areas that were in need of touch ups. We really appreciated his patience and expertise. Courtney has also been a great help with any questions or concerns we have had, as well as scheduling appointment times. A big thank you to you all.

We had a great experience with Textbook painting. Monica was our crew leader and she was very friendly, did excellent work, and communicated throughly during each stage of the process. We are very impressed with the high quality of our new kitchen cabinet and drawer fronts and Monica did an excellent job painting our kitchen walls and ceiling. Chuck was also a pleasure to work with. The prices are reasonable and I would recommend their services for those looking to update their kitchen or wanting new paint in their home.

I had chosen Textbook Painting because of many excellent reviews, a competitive quote from a friendly salesperson, and an expectation that painters with interior cabinet expertise would do similar quality work on the lower half front of my house. They failed to meet my expectations, but eventually completed the work with a mutully acceptable end result.

The exterior area is about 650 sq. ft. including fiber cement body panels, a wood grained aluminum garage door, a smooth PVC post, 4" to 8" of smooth aluminum fascia or PVC trim on every corner and edge, and an original 1960s front door.

The quality of any project comes down to the skills and craftsmanship of the workers assigned to the job. The two painters assigned to my project had limited experience.

Instead of carefully masking off and spraying each area, all the work was done by hand, mostly with 1/2" nap rollers and paint brushes. Unfortunately, the front of the house faces directly east in hot sun every day. I suggested mutiple times during weeks of planning and scheduling that the entire area would be in the shade after noon, nearly ideal conditions for applying paint.

Our salesman, Tyler, came out to see the issues first hand and assured me they would make the situation right. He sent out a painter with 6 years of experience to provide some mentorship and advise the painters on how best to rework the most visible problems.

To his credit, the more senior of the two painters, Gavin, was quite pleasant to work with, diligent, and open to many suggestions on surface prep and painting techniques, proper selection of applicators, and rework with attention to details when seen up close that should probably have been done differently the first time. In fairness, none would be visible from a street view. And, on the final of 4 days on the job over 8 calendar days, Gavin did stay to complete the work regardless of the 40 hour/week goal.

If you are knowledgeable about painting and prefer better than average quality work, I recommend you ask about the experience levels of the painters who will be assigned to your project. Before and after photos are shown.

Textbook did an outstanding job on our kitchen renovation! We had our cabinet doors replaced and the cabinets painted. Monaca was professional, personable, and all-around an amazing person to work with! She was always on time and completed the work in a week. Highly recommend Textbook if you want a professional job at a reasonable price!

Textbook Painting did an amazing job painting my kitchen cabinets sage green, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Jen came out first to check out my kitchen and walk me through color options, a general estimate, and timing. She was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and honestly the reason I felt confident moving forward with Textbook.

Fred was the painter on the job and he was fantastic. Super respectful and professional, and he communicated clearly by text about when he’d arrive and what he planned to tackle each day. He was meticulous with the prep and painting, and the finish looks beautiful. He also cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, which I really appreciated.

I’d absolutely use Textbook Painting again and highly recommend them.

Ohio Laser and Rust Cleaning did a superb job.
I would recommend them to anyone.
Courteous, professional, respectful.

This guy was hired to do my mom's roof In which I helped her pay for. He changed his terms multiple times and then once he had it all tore off, Up the cost and threatened to walk knowing he had her Trapped. Hes a scam artist and extremely unprofessional. We had to threaten legal action to get him to finish the job POORLY. We had to hire an additional crew for clean up because he left such a mess. EXTREMELY unprofessional and ill mannered. Additionally, he appeared to be high most of the time. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. The owner and operator, Brian Holbert, DOESN'T HAVE AN OUNCE OF INTEGRITY OR ETHICS IN HIS BODY. My mother was beyond distraught and in heavy tears. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Javier Lopez did an amazing job cleaning and drying up my basement. Very profesional and handled my items with such care! I’m definitely recommending Servpro to all my friends. Thanks Javier for the great job!
