Constraction reviews in Cleveland, Ohio

Textbook Painting came highly recommended, and now I see why! Very professional, great advice on color, and excellent finished look! Our kitchen feels twice as large and it is so fresh and clean looking! We love it!

We had our kitchen cabinets and guest bathroom cabinets repainted and could not be happier with the results. Throughout the project, Eddie was very professional, friendly, open to questions, and attentive to touch ups. Outside of his control at the beginning of the process was an inflexible schedule on Textbook’s part that caused some initial disruption. That said, the quality of the work was excellent.

We had our kitchen cabinets painted and the service was excellent all around. The communication was clear throughout the process, the workmanship was neat, well done and timely. Tyler our lead on the project was excellent. I would highly recomnend Textbook painting.

I have had the pleasure to work with Michael Murray and his team. This company is the real deal. They are knowledgable, well trained, and care about the community and their employees. If you are are looking for high quality, professionalism, great communication and a well lead company, hire these guys for your next painting job.

An absolutely beautiful job on our cabinets! From the paint, to the installation of crown molding, to adding the soft close hinges to the doors, to the hardware….everything and everyone was professional. Especially LOVE the fact that the sanding didn’t create ANY MESS! Highly recommend and would definitely contact again for our next painting job.

Textbook did such an amazing job on my house! The color is perfect and it is such a transformation. The crew was a pleasure to have around. They were prompt, communicative and took pride in their work. I’d definitely recommend them!

Cody and Ivan are wonderful contractors. Our 90+ year old house has all of the challenges one might expect. To make sure the walls were smooth, our floral wallpaper was installed after a full day of sanding when the old paper was removed. It looks picture perfect! Each day, Cody explained what he planned to accomplish and reported again at the end of the day. All materials were neatly stacked and messes cleaned up so we could make use of the TV there every night. I look forward to using Textbook Painting for our future projects.

Extremely happy with the results after painting our kitchen cabinets. Tyler did an amazing job from start to finish. He is an asset to Textbook Painting. He explained every step in detail and when finished was able to provide great feedback in terms of cleaning and maintaining our cabinets. Very professional, couldn’t be happier! Thank you!

We used Textbook Painting for our kitchen upgrade. They refinished our cabinet doors and painted the boxes. Irvin and CJ were both great to work with and did a great job! The team was responsive and kept me updated throughout the process. I recommend their services 5/5 stars! I plan to use them again for future projects!

Working with Textbook Painting was a pleasure from planning through completion. Irvin performed the work in our home. He notified us daily when he was enroute, explained every step of the process, exhibited great attention-to-detail, delivered professional results, and and left the kitchen cleaner than it was before he started. We highly recommend Textbook Painting Company.

I could not have asked for a better experience! I wanted to get my cabinets updated and after getting quoted an insane amount by Home Depot I found Textbook Painting. The quality they’re able to offer for cabinet painting is incredible and comes at a much more affordable price. They were also able to install soft close hinges and new hardware for my cabinets. The project took less than a week and everyone I worked with was incredible and kept me updated on everything! I definitely recommend working with them for any painting needs.

Textbook Painting did a great job on our cabinets. They texted when they were on their way. Brandon was our painter. He was very polite and courteous. Jen made the whole process easy from picking out the cabinet doors to the color we wanted and the paint color for the walls. We are very happy with the results!

What a great experience with this company. From the initial call to Sal and the finished product, this team did a great job painting my house. Basically the city of Lakewood told me I had to paint my house and this company was able to get me in within three or four weeks of me calling them to get the city off my back.
The total cost to paint a three-story home, was approximately $16,000. I feel like putting in the price is a fair thing so that other people have an idea of what it cost me so that they can better understand their costs.
Getting back to the work, it is amazing. Sal and his team did such a fantastic job! Huge shout out to Sal!

The tan is before. The blue is after.

Tyler and Claire did a fantastic job painting my kitchen cabinets and installing the new Shaker style doors. They worked very efficiently and kept everything clean. Great guys too. I would highly recommend your services.

I was very pleased with the painting, crown molding, soft close hinges that Textbook Painting did. Monaca did an awesome job, I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to have your cabinets painted, always on time, very accommodating and professional. Chuck did the crown molding, so happy that I decided to do that. Thanks to everyone at Textbook Painting. Before and after pictures, what a difference. Walls are not painted yet, can’t decide on the color.

Textbook Painting renewed our kitchen cabinets. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The quoting was fun, the communication up to start was great, and the painting process was flawless. Our painting tech was prompt, communicated well, did an amazing job and was great to have in our home. We could not be more pleased with the value and look of our new kitchen.

In every aspect of my cabinet refacing project, the folks at Textbook Painting were flawless! Their communication was top notch. Many contractors are very responsive before you sign the paperwork, then crickets… not Courtney and the team! Courtney kept me posted weekly about our planned schedule and hit the mark perfectly! CJ and Tori were very professional. They arrived when they said they would, were very efficient, and their work looks amazing! I would definitely use them again without question!!!

Our cabinets are gorgeous!! Tori did a fantastic job from prepping to painting of the cabinet boxes. The doors look like they came from the factory thanks to the spraying skill of Maddie and Dray. CJ stopped by to finish a small touch up and noticed the pulls had arrived and offered to install them. Chuck reinstalled new mounding along the top giving the kitchen a very clean look. This team has exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend them.

After nearly a decade, it was time to have the exterior house painted, and from beginning to completion, our experience with Textbook Painting was exceptional. Our start was with Abbey, who immediately demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, listening skills, and the ability to use various communication tools to answer questions and provide quick follow-ups. We had other quotes from decent and proven contractors, but her behavior sold us on Textbook Painting.
Communication was good approaching our start date, and we spent the first hour walking the property to discuss expectations and potential problem areas. We were pleasantly surprised that the crew had received good notes from our meeting with Abbey, specifically our desire for a 70% preparation versus a 30% paint effort on the house. The house needed cleaning, caulking, wood repair, and site prep.
Regarding our crew: the three young men (Patrick, Brandon, and Nate) consistently arrived on time, spoke well, dressed appropriately, were honest, and behaved nothing short of being professional painters at all times. Each day they seemed eager and excited to work on our project, and we worked with the crew to develop win/win solutions to issues as identified. It became clear that our Textbook crew desired to exceed our expectations with the quality of their work.
We are delighted with the results. The quality of the preparation, painting, and cleanup was exceptional. We hope Patrick, Nate, and Brandon are proud of their work. We certainly are...Bravo guys!
I strongly recommend you allow Textbook Painting to paint your house.

Hey all, I know I have posted a review about Textbook Painting before, but I used them for a second project, and I just have to share more!

This time, we use them for painting our kitchen cabinets. And just like our other project they did for us, they were amazing!

The estimating process was simple and fast, their price was very reasonable…especially for how high-quality the paint and workmanship is.

The whole process is so professional, and high-quality.

Claire was our painter, and he was terrific! He is highly skilled and really knows what he’s doing. Plus, he was really friendly and kind, and got along great with our pets. He was here for three days, and our dogs really looked forward to his arrival each morning! Lol! His ability to work around how nosy they were, was nothing short of a miracle!

And the cabinets look incredible! It changed the entire look of our kitchen. We asked them to add a crown molding to our cabinets, which just gave it a really nice, finished look.

Plus, they have that lifetime guarantee for touchups, which gave me a lot of confidence for painting my cabinets rather than replacing them with wood.

I highly recommend them. If you’re on the fence about using them, don’t be.

We couldn't be happier with the results of our project. The kitchen cabinets look like new and transformed our entire kitchen. Monaca was the best. She was very professional and her work was flawless. She and CJ did a great job from start to finish The sprayers, Andraya and Maddie, did a superb job on the spraying of the doors and drawers. They honestly look like manufactured new. I would recommend Textbook Painting to anyone thinking of having work done in their home. I am so glad we found this company at the Home Show.
