Lamont did an outstanding job trimming and pruning my overgrown trees and bushes. He was courteous, professional, and completed the service within 48 hours of receiving the deposit. For contractors nowadays, that level of service and turnaround time, is unheard of! I will definitely utilize his services in the future and highly recommend his business to others!

Lamont and the crew arrived about an early. He has a four man crew and they all worked in sync to clean up and remove the limbs off my mom's tree. It is nice to see young black entrepreneurs. Keep up the good work and let it be noted that he kept safety a priority.

I received a quote from MZ Tree Service after getting one from a familial related company to MZ. It seemed as if these family members who run two different companies work together and it should have been my indicator to not sign a contract as I felt I was already getting two different stories from each family member. Knowing the tree was in a tight space, I asked each company if they were able remove the tree without utilizing my neighbor’s yards – of course, I was told yes and furthermore, if anything accidently was dropped in anyone’s yard that they would clean it up. They had the lowest quote and being a single parent and already knowing I had an unexpected expense of over 5k to remove a dangerous tree, I was forced to go with the lowest quote.

The job was scheduled, sign put in yard, 50% deposit given (and deposited in bank) and….no work. The climber was unable to do the job that day. Rescheduled later in the week. That day started as planned. Day 2 I go back to the job area and find the fence down between my neighbor’s yard and basically my neighbor’s yard being utilized as their work area (with NO permission from me or my neighbor). They said well they needed more room and had no choice. I told them that the yard needed cleaned up and fence put back as it was.

Day three of the job was done and contractor collected final payment. I asked if the fence was put back and everything cleaned up – well of course. At this time it was night out and I didn’t go look for myself. The next morning I was in shock. My backyard was a warzone. They removed stepping stones and other rocks and they were not put back. There were branches from the trees everywhere. The play house they dismantled was strewn all about and the fence looked odd but I couldn’t figure it out right away. I went to my neighbor’s yard to make sure it was put back together and was shocked. I spent the next 5 hours cleaning up their yard from branches dropped, removing sawdust in mounds (not just scattered about), removing their broke lawn ornament and raking their yard. The most disappointing issue was the fence that they “replaced” and stained black (the fence is just an aged beige/gray color) and the side that faced the neighbor’s yard was dripped with stain everywhere. In all I had 5 brown bags and three garbage cans full of waste just in my neighbor’s yard. I haven’t even touched my warzone of a yard yet.

While cleaning up my neighbor’s yard, I immediately called the contractor who said he thought it was great they stained and replaced the “fence that was already falling apart.” When I questioned why I was not made aware it broke or they took it apart and couldn’t put it together, he said he thought it looked fine but would be out by Friday to look at it. By Saturday with no word, I reached out again and was told that “I feel we did a great job removing that tree but if you need that fence repaired, we will do it.” From there, I got the runaround and no action again so in 10 degree weather, this single mom spent another couple hours repairing the fence since I can’t afford another person to fix after this expense as well as the money I offered my neighbor for all their unexpected damage and trouble to their yard (they still have bushes that were broken and a lawn that will need re-seeded in the spring).

I have never been so disappointed in a contractor in my life and I have unfortunately had to hire many contractors in both my personal and professional life. I wish I could have afforded a more reputable company that I felt comfortable with from the beginning, but I guess this is the punishment I get. I hope this can help someone avoid any similar problems because no one should have to deal with the stress and anxiety this has caused me.

I met Zack when he came to my fence asking about a tree that had fallen in my yard.
I was waiting from the insurance companies guy to start.when I had no response,I called MZ(Zack). It's a crew of foreign guys, the only one that spoke/understood English was Zack.
I have to say they did an impeccable job with both cutting the tree down/up and removal.
Only thing I was upset about was...I asked , Zack both in person and over phone if he would take a couple branches off a pine tree in yard, his response???Of course,no problem.after SEVERAL attempts to contact him ,I gave up.
Well needless to say,it wasn't done.I don't know the exact amt.charged since this went through my insurance company.but....The initial quote when he asked me by my fence was: I'll do everything (cut/remove/clean-up)for $500.too bad he didn't trim the pine for me.....Now it's time for tree to be taken down and I'm considering MZ again but will more than likely go with another company ,for the "promise"issue being broken😢 .
I would recommend MZ based on their work ethic😊 and not recommend them based on "empty" promises.😢.

I had a tree that fell on the roof of my garage and I called these guys out and they gave me an estimate same day which was really awesome. A few days later on the Wednesday of last week that I was scheduled with them, they removed the tree within just a few hours and even took photos of the roof of my garage for Insurance, which is really nice thank you guys!! Definitely planning on get the stump ground down.

Great price and crew. Was a little worried because of where the tree was placed, they said it wouldn't be a problem. We were quickly assured within moments lol.

Had a few branches hanging over my house, thought it'd be a tough job to remove the because of where they were. Not only did they remove the branches without a worry, they were so polite and professional with me and the wife. For what I'd think would take at least 2 hours was gone in 30 mins.

Cleveland Tree Service (Sam and his crew) really came through for us after the wind damage this past weekend. We had branches down and a couple spots that was lookin pretty sketchy, and I didn’t want to mess around with it. Sam got us on the schedule quick and his guys showed up ready to roll.

They worked safe, took the damaged limbs down in pieces, and kept everything under control so nothing got smashed up around the house. You can tell they do this all the time — no standing around, just gettin it done. And the cleanup was legit… they hauled off a ton of debris and didn’t leave the yard lookin like a disaster zone.

Sam at Cleveland Tree Service has a great eye for selective pruning. This is the second time he’s trimmed up our ornamental pear tree, and it comes out looking better every time — clean cuts, nice shape, and not overdone. Sam’s crew was quick, polite, and cleaned up after like they was never even here. Highly recommend.

From the first call to the final cleanup, Cleveland Tree Service was just easy to deal with. Sam (the owner) came out, looked everything over, and gave me a clear quote that actually made sense — no vague “we’ll see later” stuff. Communication was really good too, they kept me in the loop before the job, showed up when they said they would and checked in during the day so I knew what was going on.

The crew worked their tails off. They stayed organized, kept things safe, and the work turned out great. Cleanup was super thorough as well… no random limbs, no piles left behind. If you need tree work in the Cleveland area, I’d recommend Sam and Cleveland Tree Service, no question.

Cleveland Tree Service is hands down the best we have ever used! Starting from the first quote request till the very end when they cleaned up, everything was done with such professionalism and care.

Talking to their customer service was actually enjoyable, they explained things perfect and the arborist estimate was straight forward and honest. When the crew arrived you could tell right away they knew exactly what they were doing — their equipment and skills were amazing to see in person. They trimmed everything safe and neat without messing up our yard.

If you need tree trimming done right, dont hesitate. I fully recommend Cleveland Tree Service and will be reaching out to them again soon for sure.
